This review is about the play area only. I'd heard that Living Spaces had a fabulous play area so I took my 3 year old over to check it out. Because I'd also heard that they get quite busy and that there can be a long wait to play, so we went over at 10 am (when they open) on a Tuesday. It paid off as we were the only ones there for about 10 minutes. So, the play area is pretty great- my son played independently for about an hour. Things to know: You have to fill out a waiver for each kid each time before they can play. Online forms are coming at some point. Word on the street is that weekends are so busy and crazy that they should be avoided. Parents are required to stay in the play area with kids 3 and under but are required to leave kids 4 and over with the attendants. They have an interesting looking cafe right outside the play area but it wasn't open while we were there. read more

I contacted their online sales agents not once but twice to confirm that the chair I was about to order did in fact have that capability. I took a screen shot of the second one as proof, because it wasn't clear they were actually checking the product while I was chatting with them. Sure enough, the recliner gets here, and doesn't have the very capabilities they said it had. I contacted customer service and they said that I would have to pay the restocking fee (plus the pick up fee) even though I have PROOF that their sales people flat out lied to me. Since then, I've been to the store seven different times looking for help. Each time, I was told to call customer service. Customer service then shipped replacement parts and expected us to install them ourselves. After installing the parts, the problem still wasn't fixed. Now, nearly a month later, we still do not have a fully functioning bed. Instead of sending a technician to diagnose the issue, they continue sending random replacement parts, hoping one of them solves the problem. I received another set of parts two days ago and was told someone would call to schedule a technician. I'm still waiting for that call. The entire experience has been an exhausting runaround. The store tells me to contact the manufacturer, and the manufacturer tells me to contact the store. Meanwhile, I'm left with an incomplete bed that I paid thousands of dollars for. For a company that advertises quality products and service, this level of customer support is unacceptable. After spending over $7,200, I expected a complete installation, a working product, and prompt service when something went wrong--not weeks of frustration, repeated trips to the store, endless phone calls, and no resolution. We had an extremely disappointing experience with Living Spaces. We purchased a sofa and loveseat set, and the loveseat was delivered with a broken frame. Because we were already dealing with an exchange for other damaged furniture from the same order, we did not discover the loveseat defect within the 7-day return window. After we reported the problem, Living Spaces sent a technician who confirmed the frame was broken and the loveseat was beyond repair. Since they no longer carry the model, they refused to replace it and would only offer store credit. Unfortunately, there were no comparable replacements available without spending significantly more money. To make matters worse, they refused to issue a refund, require us to pay to have the defective loveseat removed, and expect us to either spend the credit on furniture we don't want or forfeit it and shop elsewhere. We are now left paying extra to replace furniture that arrived broken through no fault of our own. Every one of the five pieces of furniture in our order had some type of defect or damage. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere. read more

Red flag #1 should have been the bar. Makes sense you need drunk customers to be ok with mediocre furniture and lies. I bought want I knew is nothing but basic compressed wood furniture. I was ok with that. They do not even believe in their furniture since they push hard to sell you a warranty that will supposedly fix the furniture falling apart. What I was not OK with was the lies. I was promised up and down that they would deliver to the room of my choice. Three days before delivery I get an email saying it would be dropped off at the front door, cya byyeeee. I called what is I am assuming is jokingly called their customer service line in there corporate office and was treated rudely and called a liar. I had them cancel the order over the phone and recorded the rude manager Gretchen as she canceled my order and stated there would be no penalty. It was petty but since they always record us, I figured I would record them since they lied to begin with. At least Jake Jab is upfront about his mediocre furniture and delivery. These people lie. If you want to get drunk, be lied to and buy a mediocre product go for it. I feel there are cheaper ways to do that in life but to each their own. I explained that we needed 2 barstools for a home model and we needed to be able to get them today. The salesman laughed in my face and said the only thing I could walk out of the store with was their red tag items. I left immediately. 1. There was no "let me see what I can do" 2. Garbage furniture, terrible customer service and worthless warranty!!! If I could do zero or negative stars I would! Purchased a couch recliner combo, with the extended warranty, the sales people will tell you this warranty is "bulletproof " and covers anything and everything that you may need. This is BS! The couch is falling apart after less than 16 months, the cushion seams inside the covers are all coming apart and the leg part of the recliners is warped and the company refuses to do anything about it. The warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on and the furniture is total garbage. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!! Your better off at American furniture stores. Long story short, I purchased a new mattress though it was delivered on the specified dat, it was damage. There is no way to contact the local store(Thornton) do after talking with a call center, I went to the store. there is no customer service to be had. they screwed up and the best they could do was maybe find a replacement in no less than 7 days but it could take up to a month. Management was the worst I have ever dealt wit. stick to American Furniture Warehouse. there is a reason they have been around so long. Do not use this piece of shit company. Had to take a day off work as they only deliver on Saturday to my location in Loveland. The bed frame breaks after one hour of laying on it, so I get a repair rescue delivery scheduled. They have to do another Saturday, which I am required to get off work again. They give an 11 am - 2 pm window, and don't show up. I call the customer service, get someone who I can barely understand who puts me on hold for 15 minutes only to tell me that my rescue was cancelled with no explanation as to why. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had anywhere. Incompetence at every level. read more

BAIT & SWITCH Went into Living Spaces to purchase a living room set. After consulting with a sales person I decided on a six piece set. Modules sofa (3 pieces), (love seat (2 pieces) and a stand alone recliner (1 piece) for a total of six. My sales person clearly told me I was buying a six piece set of living room furniture. We agreed upon the price and I signed my name not giving much thought to the paper work. As it turns out my set did not include the stand alone recliner. I was delivered only five pieces. I contacted the store and was told there was nothing they could do about the issue. I was told it was a "he said, she said" issue. I decided go to the store to speak with a manager in hopes of finding a solution but the manager only told me that my only recourse was to buy the recliner at full price. He was completely unwilling to do anything for me. he seemed a bit annoyed that I was even there trying to find a solution. I left more than unhappy. I cannot and will not recommend this store to anyone, and I certainly will never spend another penny in any Living Spaces sore again. read more

The table was assembled with several missing bolts and washers, so when I went to move the table two of the legs almost fell off. When I told the store, they said since it was more than 7 days, I would have to submit a warrant claim. Translation, the'll cover the cost of the bolt, but charge $99 to send a technician and $50/hr to fix their mistake!!! Similar situation with the bookcase. Delivered without a shelf. This review is specifically for the bar and the kids zone inside Living Spaces. We made a trip out to this new store knowing that bringing 4 kids would be interesting. Luckily, there are activities for all ages. Other than beautiful displays to admire and explore, I was happily surprised to see a cafe (ahem bar) serving beer, wine and some hot snacks. Pita chips with hummus, nachos, chicken tenders and even personal sized pizza are part of the bar sized menu. TVs line the top of the bar back. It was awesome! There's all free coffee along the wall before where the bathrooms are. The kids playplace is free but there's a waiting list. If you're coming here specifically for this, walk over immediately and get your name and number of kids on the wait-list. We waited 1.5 hours to get in. They didn't seem strict on regulating the time spent in the playplace which kind of stinks when you have anxious kids watching other kids play. Once you're next on the list they call out your name, call your cell or send a text message. Then when you're in, you and the kiddos are matched with the same colored wristbands. Other than the climbing playground, there was a movie spot, a few tables with art supplies, and touch screen tablet area with built-in games. read more

HOWEVER, delivery of our furniture which we ordered Dec 13th is still not delivered PASSED the agreed upon delivery window and the new window is now set Feb 13 - Feb 22. Purchased bed and platform for our guest room. Platform broke almost immediately. They want $100 just to consider a claim. There were more employees standing around talking than shoppers. Maybe the manager could move employees into the kids club when it is at capacity. And their office selection sucks. I'll start with this because this is not something that is advertised but definitely a loop hole for this company to avoid accepting responsibility for an error (on their end). Although under the same company, if you order online - they will only help you online because it is an online order. If you purchase something from the actual store (physical building/store) they can only help you in store with the store order. Online/in store do not work together. For example, if you bought something from Walgreens online you can return it to a Walgreens store. Not the case here. You will still be charged the re-stock fee, even if the error is theirs. My experience with the store in Thorton, Colorado started with Jackie/Jacqueline. I went to the store (in-person). Selected a couch, but the color was not in stock. I told her I'd wait. So she created a shopping cart for me with the order. Once in stock, she said I would receive a call/email. Since there is a shopping cart created, I could simply purchase the order. One week later, I received emails from Living Spaces. They asked if there was anything they can help with. I informed them that I wanted to check on the color/model of couch I wanted. Checking to see if it was in stock. I took a screen shot of the shopping cart the store associate put together, and sent it to the employee I was on the phone with. She told me the color was back in stock and proceeded with my order. One month later, my order was almost delivered but the color was wrong. I refused the order. I spoke with a supervisor for the delivery team who tried telling me I could accept the order as a "loaner" and Living Spaces would correct the order. I refused because I knew that was b.s. I went in to the store. Explained the situation to an employee at customer services. Eventually I was passed along to her supervisor "Catrina". Catrina refused to accept that her employee made this error put it back on me and said to go through the online store because that's where it was order. I added I would be fine with store credit, just so I could get the order right. Again, she is basically a greeter at the front and couldn't help. She referred me to the online site. Ultimately, I had to pay the $500+ restock fee (25%) and I am looking forward to my refund. If you choose them, good luck - I hope it goes well for you. If possible, avoid them. We knew what furniture we wanted, we sold ours and went in the same day to order the new furniture we wanted. We were told it would take 3 weeks to get it. OK that was on us, we should of checked first befire selling ours. We had a great experience with the lady that helped us buying it. We get the furniture and LOVE it but it had a piece broke. The delivery guys were super nice and asked of we wanted to send it back and get a replacement I said yes! Now I see instead of replacing it they just refunded my money. My first time purchasing with Living spaces was horrible. I will be writing a review mostly on delivery time frame expectations & the delivery job itself. Walked in looking for a specific couch I had seen online & never been to living spaces. I drove about 40 minutes because the website stated that specific couch I found was in stock. Well rep told me it was out of stock.. no problem with me as I needed a couch within 2-3 days and was going to go elsewhere and get a couch that day. Rep INSISTED she could get it from another warehouse and it would arrive in 5 days. At that point I felt they were on commission but turns out they're not!! Although I didn't have that much time to wait, I chose to go ahead because the rep assured me it would be there in 5 days. Horrible idea. The couch indeed did NOT come in 5 days but took 10 instead. I told the Rep my time limit and she should have NEVER guaranteed the couch would arrive on that date, if it was never plausible in the first place. I had no problems going elsewhere for furniture. The day before my first delivery date, I get a text message saying it was scheduled to still come on time & the morning of I got an "Email" stating it wouldn't be delivered & to call them. At that moment I was pissed. Delivery was then upped to 4 more days. Delivery was awful & a joke. I wasn't updated of any time window for that day, I had to call. Couch was supposed to be placed at door and instead was left in mailroom & I didn't know it had been delivered while I was waiting all day. I had to call again to ask where is my couch because the time window had passed. Whole time it had been sitting there and I was never notified. This is the worst furniture experience I've had in my life. Building the couch was INSANITY. I assumed they're was missing hardware because the stands didn't make sense according to the "instructions". PLEASE go elsewhere. I was considering them for patio furniture next but I will NOT. I would give zero stars if possible...Absolutely horrible store and customer service! Please beware before spending money here! We put in a $7000 order that was confirmed 3 separate times to be delivered to us on 3/23 (today). Our address was correct on our billing statement but when the transportation team reached out, they had ONE number incorrect of our house address (same neighborhood, street, city and everything else). I called, gave them the correct number and they confirmed that all was set for our delivery on Sunday. We got rid of our prior furniture and spent all day Saturday rearranging and getting ready for our delivery the next day. Sunday morning- we still had not received our shortened window of when they would be coming so I logged on to my Living Spaces account. Get this- they switched the delivery date WITHOUT telling us to NEXT WEEKEND. I spoke with customer service, the most unhelpful people ever- and they told me essentially that next week is the best they can do and "didn't need to give me an update on my new delivery" because thats the best they could do. This is ridiculous when paying this much for furniture, and clearing out your house. Now, I have to use PTO to be here for a delivery that I paid for and was confirmed for a week prior. Horrible company, horrible customer service and will 100% never use again. Please spend your money elsewhere where they can actually provide good customer service because this is NOT the place. They don't stand behind their products and only give you 7 days to return even if THEY made the error. I ordered a dining chair online that was listed as 18" wide. When they arrived they were cute so I kept them. 2 weeks later my new table arrives and the chairs don't fit. The chairs are 18.5" wide. Regardless of the misinformation on THEIR website, because I didn't find their mistake within 7 days, they wont even let me exchange for a different kind. I should have found THEIR error within 7 days, no exceptions, was the response I was given when explaining their website had misinformation. If you buy from them make sure you have all the other pieces already in place before you order. You can't trust their online info or measurements and they don't care when it's wrong and you're left with furniture you can't use. read more

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, I honestly had a great experience in the store and throughout the entire process. Everyone in the store was friendly and helpful, especially Jason who helped me get everything ordered. It was great to be able to sit on a bunch of the couches and see everything in store. Their staff are friendly and helpful and there is a wide variety of products with a variety of price ranges as well. I was able to find pretty much exactly what I was hoping for. I had it delivered to my apartment and that was also a great experience, the delivery guys were fantastic and I am super pleased with my couch. I wish I could give zero stars. This store and its customer service are absolutely horrendous. While Google Reviews may not reflect the full extent of the problem, I strongly encourage you to check other platforms like Yelp, where dozens--if not hundreds--of customers have shared similar frustrations. My experience has been nothing short of disappointing. My family and I, like many others, received damaged and poor-quality items, and the store has flat-out refused to honor any warranty claims. We were encouraged by an associate, Pam, to place a custom order for a sectional, as she promised it would be of higher quality than the others. However, what she failed to mention is that if anything goes wrong, getting any help with a custom order warranty is an absolute nightmare. We waited two months for our sectional, only to receive a piece of furniture with seats so uncomfortably firm that we cannot use it at all. After multiple emails, store visits, and countless attempts to resolve the issue, we have received no help. They never saw the sectional, never even tried to send someone, nor accepted us bringing the pillows to the store. They simply refuse to do anything. It's frustrating and incredibly unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store. Their customer service is non-existent, and once you've made a purchase, you're on your own. Also, you cannot get ahold a specific store. They only have a general customer service number. So if anyone, like a store manager, promised to follow-up with you, you have no other choice than either waiting for a call from them (which most likely won't happen) or driving to the store in person and hope that they are actually there. read more
