I, on the other hand wanted to know what I was buying and somehow Daniel was able to keep us both happy. Details for me and comfy factor for her. Daniel made us feel important and cared more about what we wanted and didn't seem to push a specific make on us. Extremely patient and seemed to know a lot. I have a "free" thing I don't want or need that I now have to pay for and they get to sell the mattress I just paid for to probably 100 customers to run the same scam.

This review is about the play area only…read more I'd heard that Living Spaces had a fabulous play area so I took my 3 year old over to check it out. Because I'd also heard that they get quite busy and that there can be a long wait to play, so we went over at 10 am (when they open) on a Tuesday. It paid off as we were the only ones there for about 10 minutes. So, the play area is pretty great- my son played independently for about an hour. Things to know: You have to fill out a waiver for each kid each time before they can play. Online forms are coming at some point. Word on the street is that weekends are so busy and crazy that they should be avoided. Parents are required to stay in the play area with kids 3 and under but are required to leave kids 4 and over with the attendants. They have an interesting looking cafe right outside the play area but it wasn't open while we were there.

My mom also wanted the lamps, so it took about three weeks from when I first emailed and when I received the lamps. (I was pleasantly surprised they would ship them to me without spending the 8,000.00 shipping minimum) They shipped them to two separate addresses and they did research on the cheapest way to ship them. I called and informed them that I wanted to return the sofa and loveseat at that point. Since then I have found a 3rd hole, though I digress. I ordered a new different sofa and loveseat that was a special order and would not arrive until July 15-18. I have called and talked to no less than 12 "customer service" people, all the while being told that "it would be another week". Today I called and was told that now it would be "another few weeks". By now I am livid! "Nikki" said she would call the manufacturer and call me back. She of course did not call me back. I called again and was told I could not be transferred to "Nikki",and spoke to "Chelsea". She informed me that yes, it would be another few weeks. I asked her if I could speak to a manager and she informed me that she and everyone there IS a MANAGER. I said that there HAS to be someone above her, she said "no, I report to no one". I informed her that now I am going to and find furniture SOME PLACE ELSE, and that I will then call and have AFW come and pick up this DEFECTIVE AND CRAPPY furniture and get a refund. She said "you can do that if you like". Honestly, this is NO WAY to treat customers! I have gotten furniture from AFW in the past and have never been treated like this. I actually called ahead and spoke to Brandon and was really disappointed to learn that I wouldn't be able to get the adjustable base I wanted because I have a platform bed. We still went in to check out the options and I was SO impressed that after my phone call, Brandon had done some research and discovered we could get a base at mattress firm that would work with our current bed frame and the sleep number mattress I wanted. I mean, wow! When has a mattress salesperson ever referred you to a competitor? That really meant something to me and we were able to try out the options and decide on the exact mattress we wanted, then go down the road and get the base that would work when sleep number didn't sell it. Sleep number should strongly consider making a platform-friendly base (no legs) but until then, reward your honest employees who put customer satisfaction above making a larger sale.
