Yelp needs to allow a zero star rating , as this store deserves it. Long story short. Stopped in first part of May to purchase 2 couches and 2 gliding chairs. Salesman told me he couldn't take the order due to them being out of stock and he couldn't tell when they would be shipped. I understand that part and thanks for being honest.....we left our info with him 3 days later a different sales person calls us and says they are being shipped and if we pay , they can have them delivered in about 8 days. We pay in full over the phone. Wife takes the day off work on the delivery day , we were told. No furniture.... Then we are told they are backordered and should be here in 4 weeks. No show again. You can't call the store. Just a 877 number. No help at all Finally get ahold of someone and I'm told they are in Texas and should be here middle of July ..... I called again today. They told me today , they don't really know when they will be here, and they aren't sure why I was told they were in Texas. Never once has living spaces reached out to me to update or give any info. They had no problem taking my money. Horrible customer service and even worse communication. Now I have to go down and get a refund or dispute it on my card. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY FROM LIVING SPACES, and I'll tell my story to anybody who will listen. Stay far away. The worst ever. Now, if living spaces replies, I bet they will say call us on our 877 number so we can help. All I get is half truths our flat out lies. Each store should have a number. ZERO STARS read more

This store is fantastic & the people there are exceptional, not to mention the starbucks coffee & the fresh warm cookies! The sales people are non-commision based and it shows through courteous engagement without the pressured sales pitch! Mac, an associate in the bedroom furniture area, was knowledgeable, friendly & helped with our purchase from start to finish! Barb, in the dining area, helped us with all of our questions & assisted in the purchase of our new dining room table. This is by far our favorite place to buy quality pieces for our home at an affordable price. This store is a must for your home design projects! read more

This place is so frustrating do not buy anything from them. We went and paid and ordered our chairs they said they will be in the next day. We do not live close to the store so we drive over here and they ordered the wrong color. They called the warehouse explain the situation to them and they said they will send the correct chairs the next day don't worry they will be here. We drove all the way back and still they do not have our chairs. Whoever is checking shipments in the needs help, because they are not checking the orders. So we returned the next day and they still do not have our order correct so we were turned the chairs and we will purchase them from somewhere else. Awful customer service read more

Purchased a bed for my son in store. It broke. Used my warranty and was told some pieces of the bed were on backorder and would hear from them end of July. No call so I started following up end of August. 10+ phone calls in all, used the call me back feature twice with no call back. Was able to reach someone who verified my info and told me to go into store or call a # to get order moving forward. Called that # and because I did not have an order # starting with the right letter they argued with me and then hung up on me- twice! This is actually the second issue I have had with an order in the last year last was with some patio furniture. Save yourself the hassle and purchase your furniture somewhere else. read more

We bought a recliner in November after 3 months it look like we had it got 10 yrs a call customer service they said to send pictures and the we can file a claim after 3 weeks they call me back but they want $99 to have someone come over and inspect the recliner after I spent $800 I never buy a glass from the people warranty don't mean sh## i make sure to tell all my friends the great experience I had at living spaces read more

Just a quick update to this review regarding our warranty that we decided to cancel after understanding that they do business with a company called Uniters. Uniters is the same company that does warranty business for Macy's which if you read my other review on my page for Macys, outlining my experience using their warranty provider in extreamly detail, you know that Uniters is most complicated to work with when in need of a claim. So the process of cancelling the warranty was painless and Living Spaces was absolutely wonderful about the entire situation. I would rather take my chances on the furniture quality with Living Spaces itself then to ever do business with Uniters again. Uniters, by the by has a B rating on the Better Business Bureau with six positive reviews and 506 complaints. read more

Stay away from this store. They have nice things yes, but everything I have bought from them has broken in some way and rather than fix it, "they can't find the parts, so they replace everything. That's great if you want new stuff but if you actually like the furniture that you spent thousands of dollars on, tough luck, get something new. Also, when trying to reach someone at customer service, no matter the time of day or year, you will be on hole for, MINIMUM, 45 minutes. This store is not worth the hype. read more

BUYER BEWARE... Ordered a custom couch that took 3-4 weeks to get, picked up the couch to get it home to find out that we were missing 4 legs. Called customer service to be told we would have to wait 6-8 weeks to receive them. Considering that this was the store/manufacturer error I expected the legs to be expedited. That wasn't the case. I submitted pictures of what all was received and Cassandra was kind enough to track down so legs for us after contacting 3 customer service representatives prior. Get the legs home to install, only to find out that the pre drilled threaded holes for the center bolt were not lined up with the center of the legs. When assembled with those holes the legs hung over the couch. The holes were not lined up correctly (manufacture error)..... So incredibly upset with this company. For spending over $2,300 for a couch I expected way better quality. I will not be buying from them again. read more

Kudos to Shelby, the great customer service! Wide range of sofas are awesome. Restrooms are clean too!

My experience wasn't a bad one. I knew what I wanted to get before going in so I didn't need help trying to find something which was good because no one offered any help. The person up front who greeted me was nice and gave me a quick run down of the store before moving on the next people who walked in. When I got to the office area and needed to speak to someone I had to walk all over to find someone. The few people I did find made themselves look busy and unavailable until finally I just out right asked someone if I could buy this chair. Once I said that he was VERY helpful. My favorite part of this whole place was pick up. The woman who helped me on the day I picked up my chair was beyond helpful and nice. I would go back just for her. I wish I could remember her name!! I love the chair I bought and I probably will go back for some other pieces. As I was looking around some of their furniture is priced well while others are a bit ridiculous. Just do your research before spending a few thousand dollars on some furniture that you can easily get for less. read more

Bought two couchs one 3 seater with dual power reclining seats and a 2 seater, love seat, same dual power recline. Ever since being issue after issue with the 3 seater. First the back on one of the seats on the 3 seater couch wasn't completely attached. Got a tech out to look at it one of the bolts wasn't attached at all. They replaced the back and made sure was attached. A few days later the reclining on that same seat had issues with loud bumping and clicking. Got a tech out who said was cause of the back caused a bar to be bent. Took 2 months to get a call back to schedule for it, which they just decided to fully replace the couch which I was ok with but they would not take the old defective couch back or help put it in garage. Not even 10 days later on the brand new couch the opposite reclining seat is doing the same thing but even worse then the last couches issue. Have only had couches 6 months read more

I wish that I could rate this company a zero star but that is not an option. DO NOT waste your money with this company. We shopped for new kids beds for a long time. After many very pleasant visits to the showroom we made our selections and paid for delivery and set up. I missed an entire day of work because their delivery time was 8-3:00. No call the day before letting me know a time. No call as they stated would happen 30 minutes out. They showed up, said that they knocked but me (and my very perceptive dog) did not hear a sound. And I showed no missed call to my cell phone. They just left. I called the call center and they were very rude. I would have to schedule another delivery. After speaking to a manager who would not give me her last name they came back out. They couldn't put together the summit grey loft bed bc one of the boxes came in black. Second delivery we got the right box this time but they are missing the desk that attaches to the loft bed. They wanted me to miss another day of work which I am not willing to do. We had to set up another delivery for tomorrow to get the product to finish this order. I am so disappointed in Living Spaces. Great showroom in San Tan. They must outsource everything bc the call center could care less about the customer experience. The folks loading the trucks aren't meeting expectations (one of the drivers told me this happens all of the time, especially couches) and their delivery contractors don't care (the first group let the slats to the loft bed outside in our yard). I have never disliked a company more than Living Spaces. If I can't carry a product out in my arms the same day I am there I will not buy from them. The saddest part is that we are remodeling and I had my eye on more furniture. I will definitely go elsewhere even if it means paying more. This just isn't worth it. if the showroom tells you that you can call for any reason (like they told us) and speak to them....that is not the case. You can only reach the call center. They won't let you talk to the showroom. Save your time, money and heartache (our 10 year old got off the bus excited for the new loft bed. He thinks it's his fault because he really wanted it). It's sad. read more

Purchased a bedroom set from the location in Gilbert, AZ. Upon delivery the dresser was broken. The delivery driver didn't even inspect the items before dropping them off. Very disappointed in the product and service from Living Spaces. Not sure that I will shop there again. read more

I love Living Spaces, I love everything they have! I especially love their wonderful employee Kara H. She is simply amazing and so helpful in everyway! I wouldn't shop there if it wasn't for her! Living Spaces is lucky to have an employee like Kara! My office ordered quite a bit of furniture from there store and there was a bit of a hiccup with delivery. I talked to Kara and she made sure to fix the issue and had everything delivered the next day. Everyone in the market for furniture go see Kara at Living Spaces! read more

Friendly until they get your money. Over 4K spent on the visit. 3/4 of the items delivered were WRONG, delivery refused. Delivery person was rude, condescending and insulting. Experience was so BAD that I requested all items be returned and money refunded.... It took the max allowed time to get my money back so I could go elsewhere to furnish my home. insincere apologies and discount coupons are meaningless and insulting. I'll never return. I can not in any way recommend this store to anyone. I continue to receive spam emails from this company, I have asked them to stop multiple times to no avail. I finally put them in my spam filter to stop the ongoing harassment. I was able to get better items elsewhere for less and with zero error or difficulty! read more

Helpful employees, not pushy, did not follow us around the store. We ended up buying multiple pieces of furniture in one evening. It did take a long time to check out because of the check machine. That is my only complaint. We were given refills of drinks and even offered us cake. Furniture was delivered on time at the correct residence. read more

Our experience inside the Living Spaces store was great. No high pressure sales. Everything was cool. We spent $1300 on a bed frame, a "bunkie board" (we have a Tuft and Needle mattress), and delivery. We were told it would be delivered that night (Saturday) and put together for us. Oh BTW they have a 5 day return policy. (I now know why) The delivery arrives and the two gentleman bring in the boxes and begin to assemble the frame. About halfway through one of the guys informs us that they have the wrong size slats and WE WILL NEED TO GO TO HOME DEPOT AND HAVE THEM CUT OFF 1/4". What?!? No. So they're in there banging on this bed frame with hammers trying to force the slats in, and realize , oh. We tightened the bed frame too early. So they loosened it and THEN put the slats in. Then comes time for the "bunkie board" it's just a sheet of wood that covers the slats of the bedframe. I don't know what happened here but they were banging on that for a few minutes trying to get it to fit. It all came together and they left. We inspected the bed after was out together and everything seemed "okay" besides the damage they had done to the frame with the hammers. Bed was put together Saturday. By Tuesday night the bed frame was falling apart. I didn't realize it started pulling apart and the wood was shredding, until I stepped on a piece of wood. Ouch. Then I look at the brackets holding the frame together. Pulling apart and barely hanging on. No wonder there's a 5 day return policy. We were on day 4 and the frame had become unsafe and falling apart. Needless to say we are returning the bed-frame. It is being picked up and shipped to the dumpster TODAY. Very disappointed thinking people spend over a thousand dollars on a piece of furniture at Living Spaces and it doesn't even make it 5 days. Maybe I'd buy a pillow from there. Not furniture. UPDATE 02.15.18 They sent someone out to pickup the bedframe a week ago. The gentlemen that picked up the bed left all the screws and the bunky boards. Now living spaces is trying to charge us for each of these items we never asked to be left nor do we want. Customer service has been rude. I would absolutely N E V E R recommend this place to anyone. read more

I bought an adjustable bed frame on May 24 they were supposed to be delivered May 31. I was just informed on May 29 but they will not be able to deliver it for seven or 14 days. Since this was originally scheduled for delivery on May 31 I start my plans for the memorial day weekend. This is completely unacceptable and I need to get their act together. It would be greatly inconvenienced missed a good weekend with family and friends just because of their incompetence. Be very careful what you order from these people read more

I bought a bed frame at this store. The bed was delivered the next day as promised and I am completely pleased with the bed. I had not, however, received the receipt that had been promised by email. I called customer service and spent over an hour on the phone but they were unable to find me either by phone number, email address, physical address (although the delivery people had no trouble finding my house), or name. The customer service agent promised that I would be contacted within 24 hours. When I wasn't contacted, I went back to the store. It took the young lady there about half an hour to find my information and to print me a receipt. A great deal of trouble to finally get a receipt. read more

We had a great experience with our new furniture purchase. We love that the sales team is not on commission and do not 'follow' you all around the store, in fact that's my favorite part!!! All pieces arrived exactly as purchased, delivery was on time and the guys were really nice. They cleaned up all packing material and were cautious around walls, doorways, etc. no complaints at all! read more

I bought two big ticket items in two purchasing from the store and the two deliveries are both unpleasant!!! The first time they got my house numbers wrong while setting up the delivery. The driver ended up knocking on my neighbor's door until I came out to check where my deliver was. The second time, we were sitting in the house waiting for the delivery on Sunday from 8am to 3pm. They didn't show. They left voice mail and said they will be around in 20 minutes. Yet. There were no one knocking or ringing the door bell at all. When we call the store to track down the driver, their customer service was very unprofessional. We were told that the delivery will be rescheduled and THEY will call us to reschedule it！ Bad, BAD delivery service. They better contract different company to do delivery or they will lose business for sure. We are ABSOLUTELY not going to buy anything from LIVING SPACE any more. read more

This is Really disappointing to write this after, Zach, Jessica and Amy were soo fabulous with my bed, I went back to get a couch, I returned the couch from RAC because compared to this cloud and better price, I went in this Am to purchase it and a lady named Megan who doesn't even work the reclining department helped me, the salesman (Peter I believe wasn't there) he had started a cart for me and put the couch I wanted in the system so when I was ready it would be a simple process! NOT EVEN CLOSE! Megan had no idea what she was doing and a male manager came to help, once the couch I picked was located o proceeded to be brought to the front as Megan said they rest was up to the front, she went on her way while I was paying, I was told delivery tonight between 6-9 which is really 6 - midnight! Well 9:46 the driver (great guys) and it's the wrong couch, it's Grey Leather, not chocolate cloth and not even the same couch! The driver called customer service and tried to resolve it, whoever he talked to said they would fix the notes and call me immediately to resolve and schedule 1st delivery , Yeah, that didn't happen either which I knew because she just wanted to go home! No call, no resolution but they have 1,000 of mine, I called off work tomorrow, Again so hopefully my proper couch shows, up read more

Do not buy here unless you read the fitness print. I bought an entertainment center in June. Within 7 months the door fell off. I was told to send pictures and i would be called. When they did call, i was told that they would send someone out tofix it BUT IT WOULD BE $100,, I never have witnessed such bad customer service and blatant apathy in my life. We wanted to buy another piece, but would never go there again. Once you get out the door, you are on your own. Do not take this chance. I ordered a magnolia home coffee table online from living spaces, super easy smooth process, item gets delivered its damaged. Call them set up and exchange they bring out another one next day to swap out, same thing that one is worst than the first one. Called them AGAIN set up another exchange ask if I'm allowed to review and potentially reject said coffee table prior to delivery leaving which I'm not allowed to do. So now I have to wait for the third coffee table swap out for the exact same thing to happen AGAIN! So this time when I came they tell me after this 4th attempt no more exchanges.........believe people this isn't fun for me I don't want to do it anymore either. For now the FOURTH table to be brought to my house, for the exact same damage to have occurred on this table (it looks like it's been dropped on the corner) so when I call to process this return after delivery has left cause you can't deny it, the agent gets rude, talks over me, is being pissy and saying they HAVE to come out to fix it. If they had offered this one maybe the second or third attempt I probably would of taken it. But the FOURTH attempt is when you now suddenly offer this?! Just be advised, one Magnolia Home isn't offering the quality they claim to be, and two, be prepared for quite the hassle if you deal with Living Spaces. read more

Piece of crap furniture and service is even worse. I spent $2,000 on an electric recliner modular 2 piece. Deliverers must have known that the bolt that holds two pieces together was defective or something. A few days after delivery the two pieces came apart. They said it was easy to remove and reattach the pieces but it was impossible. The bolt came off as well. Called the service center and it was an idiot that answered. Mumbling every word. Instead of sending someone out, I had to send pictures....what, they think I would make things up on a warranty call? Anyway the so called leather recliner ... Leather my ASS. Immediately after sitting in it for a few weeks, the leather began to show so many creases from stress .. and I am underweight person. They sell garbage this store in Gilbert!!!. Update: following my not so nice reivew of Living Spaces here on Yelp, I was contacted by their social media team, I must say they were very nice and listened to my situation from start to finish, they were able to organise a replacement for the defective piece I received. This is the first furniture store I felt comfortable at and wasn't hounded by the sales people. We were greeted when we walked in and people on the floor asked if we needed anything but they didn't follow us or go off about the inventory. Crystal was the first person we talked with she was very helpful then passed us to Chris. We ended up getting a custom couch done the only negative is it can take up to a month. Everything was explained to us in full detail but later we realized we didn't pick the arms we called and you don't get the store which was a little frustrating. So I was about to give this place one star but ended up giving them five stars let me explain so we ordered my son a bed upon purchasing we confirmed more than once more than twice that the bed would be delivered to the stores location in Gilbert on the said day because we were getting rid of his bed he already had well the said day came I called in advance to confirm the bed was indeed there and ready to be picked up so my husband drove 45 minutes to get there and be told it wasn't there it was in phx but will be there the following day they said to come after 12 o'clock so it's now the following day we go to pick it up and were told once again it's not there and would be there the next day. At that point I lose my cool and ask to speak with a manager I was pissed to say the least anyways the manager is who deserves the 5 starts talk about customer service he said he would deliver the bed to our house and install it for us plus took 100 off our purchase I appreciate that he cared enough to make it right! Thank you Tyrone we will be back. read more

I wish said come to yelp and read the reviews before I decided to purchase furniture from the store. They really good all the way up to the point where they take your money it's after that is when it becomes a problem. They delivered my furniture which was a 7 piece sectional couch with electric recliners and USB ports built into the couch. There was also a matching recliner. The pieces didn't line up properly when the couch was put together, The USB ports did not work, and the button on the recliner didn't even match the buttons that were on the couch. We called and notified The store the next day and they scheduled to have somebody come out and take a look at the furniture. The guy showed up a week later took a look at the furniture made some adjustments and said that he would have to order parts. Three months later and a handful of calls to the store still nothing was done continued getting the runaround was told parts were ordered was told parts weren't order was told parts could take 6 to 8 weeks to be delivered. I finally went into the store to complain. After 3 1/2 months I finally got to USB ports fixed but that was after they came and took half my couch away. I still have a recliner that has a button that doesn't match because they tell me that's the way it comes from the manufacture. However that's not how it's displayed in their store. Save yourself the trouble buy your furniture somewhere else. If you don't heed my warning look over the furniture very well before the delivery people leave if it ain't right denied the complete order and get your money back. I will never buy anything from the store again. Update: the USB ports don't work again. 9 month Update: One of the motors burnt out on the couch. read more

Terrible experience. Manager Joseph Cummings is completely uninterested in providing any customer service or backing the previous promises made by his staff.
