LESS THAN 1 STAR! How this nightmare of a firm stays in business is beyond me. Late April ordered a cantilever umbrella online. Delivered about a week later. The box was a shambles but I accepted it anyway. Big mistake. Upon starting the assembly I find that a crucial part is missing. I call customer service and was told they would get the part to me in 2 days. 2 days later, nothing. Call customer service again and they tell me that the warehouse are pretty bad and inefficient so it would be best to return the umbrella and they will swap out a "new" one when they pick up the one with the missing part. One week later they pick up the first one and deliver the second one. Box is also a mess. Go to put this one together and there is even LESS parts that the first one. WTF! Call customer service and get a snarky dude whose tone of voice is incredulous that I am complaining again. He actually says that they usually don't take returns after a second one has been delivered. WHAT!? After a lengthy back and forth and lots of 'short hold please" they come up with a solution that they will give me "white glove preferred service" for free with the next umbrella, meaning they will bring it to my patio and assemble it, the underlying tone of this CSR is that I don't know what I'm doing. Okay fine. After another "short hold" he tells me they have no more umbrellas have no idea when it will come into stock again. So much for the "white glove service". So now we are at the return and credit stage of this nightmare. Another week this POS sits in my garage for pick up. Drivers finally come and take all the boxes away. I wait 5-9 business days for a refund and...nothing. Call CS again and after more "short holds" told it would be 5-7 business days after they receive it. I tell them you got it 9 days ago. Assured the refund will go thru. 5 days later it hits my account. SHORT 70+ dollars. Call CS again and after more ":short holds" find out they never credited the weighted bases (which were picked up same time as the umbrella). It will take another 5-7 business days for this credit to thru. 7 days later it hits my account and the credit is still short. Call CS again and find out that it's a return / restocking fee. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I explain to the CSR that it was returned because it was defective (no assembly parts). After a really long "short hold" I get assured the restocking fee will waived and will be credited to my account in....you guessed it 5-7 business days! How gracious of you to waive the restocking fee on a defective item. Finally got the credit this past Friday. They would actually have to work really hard to suck more. DO. NOT. SHOP. Personally and professionally I have spent a great deal of time and money with Living Spaces. Sadly, no more. My most recent/ on-going experience has showed me the true disregard this company has for its customers. Over 6-weeks ago I placed an online order for a client install. It took two weeks for me to get a hold of them to schedule delivery. Three weeks later, 16 hours before the items were to be delivered, I received a call informing me items within my order were out of stock and will not be delivered. In pure panic considering these were not my items but items for a client, I received an Email informing me to purchase the floor models at my local store. I drove to the location right away and was informed I could not purchase the floor models as told by Corporate. Told I had no options to purchase and have replacements in time for the next day install. It has now been over a week since I emailed the Director of Customer Relations, GM of the Gilbert location, and even the Vice President about my experience and the status of my refund for the items-- I have not received a single call, Email, or any information about a refund for my out of stock items. I've sat on hold for hours with customer service and the calls continue to drop. So disappointing. read more

Great experience in store, was given a direct number to the sales rep if I needed to cancel due to size issues. Luckily it was going to fit perfect. It was delivered within 24 hours in great condition. No complaints from our first experience with this company. Update: just purchased from the website. Found it to be just as easy as an experience as well. No problem scheduling and receiving the furniture ordered. read more

We went through an absolute hassle with Mor Furniture for months and finally decided to cancel our order. Went into Living Spaces and walked out with our furniture the next day. 100% recommend! Super friendly and helpful staff with in stock furniture. Will definitely be going back for any other furniture we need read more

We purchased two Cosmo chairs from Living Spaces 4 months ago and this week one of the legs broke. You could tell the alignment of the leg was off from the other legs. The leg wasn't attached right, it is quality error as someone didn't ensure legs were all aligned. We went to Living Spaces customer service and are asking me to pay $99 to have a tech come out and see if it can be fixed. They are telling me this is my fault as I didn't check the alignment of the legs when they arrive. This is awful customer service, the chair is brand new, any barely sits in it. read more

The door checker refused to let me bring in a sealed water bottle when it's 115 degrees outside. When I asked why they said because they didn't want people pulling down their masks. So they wouldn't allow me to just carry it in the store unopened... why would I leave cold water sitting in my 1000000 degree car in the middle of summer?! read more

Absolute garbage, you are better off throwing your money into the toilet. Inferior materials and cheap made crap. I don't think the people in the country of origin would stoop so low as to have this excuse for furniture in their hovels and lean-to abodes. I wish their was a zero stars option. The wood started crackling as I was BEGINNING to tighten the nut onto the stud, then it actually cracked with very little torque from the stamped wrench that was included with the table and chairs. I don't even think the homeless would appreciate this. In order to return the item, you have to do it within 7 days and un-assembled? Obviously they know their products are garbage and trap you into keeping it. read more

Along with all the others, I must say the warranty service is TERRIBLE. No one in the store will help at all. Do not buy anything from this store. Plenty of better places to spend your money. read more

So I bought a recliner 350 though it was a decent deal, took 4 weeks to get her and the very first time my son sat in it the back was lopsided like maybe something was broke. I sent them an email and have not heard back from them. I mean I did it the next day. NO FREAKING RESPONSE. SICKENING THEY CAN SELL JUNK LIKE THAT WITH NO WARRANTY. I MEAN THE VERY FIRST TIME HE SAY IN IT. THIS IS BOLONGA read more

Unbelievably poor service. I purchased two sofas and was promised same day delivery. Only one sofa came and the customer service line is offering no appology or reasonable resolution. I asked to speak with a manager and qas denied. I am in awe of what passes for service with this company. read more

Came in here to look for a dining room table, and was shocked by how poor the customer service was. I saw at least 8 employees, standing around in various sections, and not helping anyone. I kept stopping to ask these employees where the tables for smaller spaces were; every single person would point in a direction, instead of walking with me. After 20 minutes of wandering, and two trips to customer service (who were friendly, but also useless), I gave up and left extremely disappointed. read more

Hands down the worst customer service and ordering process ever! I repeat do not buy anything here especially if you are ordering anything custom! Everyone has been rude, doesn't know what's going on, and refuses to help. I've gone months without future and they are telling me they have no expected date and even if it comes next year they can't help me. They won't even let me cancel! read more

If i could give 0 stars i would. My husband and i recently moved here needed to purchase new furniture for our place. We ordered a couch and ottoman on July 7. When ordering the gal told us 6-8 weeks due to Covid and things being a little backed up. Not a problem totally understandable and normally "custom orders" usually take 2-4 weeks. As week 6 approached and didn't hear from them i waited another week to see if we would hear from them and still nothing. So decided to call and just see where things were at. After about 45min-1hr wait finally getting ahold of someone and then being placed on another so they could call the special order department and see. I'm then told i still have 2 more weeks as it is 8-10 weeks. Simply telling her no this is what i was told and we needed our couch as we were having family come visit and obviously needs a place to sit in our home and was told there wasn't anything she could do. So my husband and i start calling daily because we have simply had enough waiting. We were then both told completely different answers when we would call either they don't know where it's at or when we would get it, or they will move our order up so we can receive it and a bunch of other bs. Finally got ahold of a gal who was extremely nice and understanding trying to get an answer. She then called me back 3 days later telling me our couch will ship Monday. 9-21 and apologizing for the inconvenience. I then get an email telling us something completely different pretty waiting much another 2 weeks. We are now approaching week 12 and still no couch or answer. I have gone to the store as well wanting to speak to a manager and he was a complete ass telling me that is what the wait time is right now and still have yet to get an answer. This company has gone down hill as 5-6 years ago we purchased a couch and had no issues as well as when we did have some seams start to come out they replaced it no problem. I completely understand that how 2020 has gone and getting things made and shipped have been longer wait times but this is unacceptable because they aren't honest with you at all they just want your money. read more

The worst! Bought a piece of one of their collections. They told me it arrived. I left town for a few days, when I went to pick it up, they said it was sent back to Phoenix. Not one employee could have cared less. I will never go back and I've spent thousands there. Horrible way to treat customers. read more

My wife and I ordered a tempurpedic Cali king. Got the mattress delivered as well as our new frame the same day. Only to find they sent the wrong mattress. They were able to send the replacement and correct size mattress the very next day. it was incorrect again. It was literally the same exact mattress that was sent just 24 hours prior. We questioned the size of the mattress again and the delivery guys ASSURED US MULTIPLE TIMES this was a Cali king mattress. This company has only one phone number. Company wide. Wait times to speak with someone is 35+min. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Ordered furniture in the store over two weeks ago and have still not been updated on when it will arrive. I have been calling the phone number repeatedly and it is always busy. The furniture is beatuiful, the staff were great but with no furniture that doesn't mean anything. How do I actually get an update on my furniture delivery without going back into the store? read more

Worst shopping experience I've ever had for looking for furniture! Started out with a temperature check in order to enter and had a sales associate to tell my husband and I to put our mask over our noses when we were sitting checking the comfort level on a couch we were interested in. There was not another sole within 30 feet of us and the mask was just barely under our noses to take a breath while were distanced from others. We were also there for about an hour since it's huge and were probably approached by 15 sales people all multiple times. There was 1 sales person in particular named Olga that I didn't feel harassed by and she was nice about it and just doing her job. If we ever went back which is highly doubtful I would ask for her. read more

I have purchased 2 sofa sets that were shown or advertised as BEIGE. Both of these sets are not even close to being beige..... they were GRAY!! I wanted to exchange for a sectional that's actually beige and they are charging me for pickups and restocking fees. I don't feel I should be charged when they aren't advertising the correct color. With today's photo capabilities these pictures on line are horrible. I wanted to order a sectional, but will be taking my business she's where. They don't value customer loyalty! read more

We have ordered a lot of furniture from the store over a period of time. Unfortunately, we probably will not use them anymore. To clarify, the store itself and the personnel who work in the store are really great. The problem is with their delivery center. It is in LA and the people who work there are pretty impersonal, to put it politely. Compounding that, is their telephone system. Most of the time you have to wait a while to talk to someone and then they are almost completely unintelligible because of the connection. My guess is they use a VoIP system to save money and it just doesn't work very well. The big problem though is that they tell you something is in stock before you order it and then you find out that it is back ordered! Say what!? read more

HIGHLY disappointed with every level at Living Spaces. We purchased our couch on July 1st and was originally promised that the could would be delivered 6-8 weeks from the purchase date. After 8 weeks past, I tried to submit and email through your online service. After a few days I still heard no response. I filled out the form again at 9 weeks and heard nothing. After becoming increasingly frustrated I tried to reach out via your instant messaging - no response. At 9 weeks and 1 day I reached out again on your instant messaging, but had to go through to connect to someone as if I was buying something. I finally got in touch with someone and they said that my couch would actually not be done until 8-10 weeks due to COVID. Understanding the difficult times and being under staffed due to COVID, I was satisfied with the answer. HOWEVER at 10 weeks I still had no couch and no update on when it would arrive. I reached back out again and they insisted that it would arrive at 10 weeks and if I had not heard anything by then to reach back out. This frustrated me as it WAS 10 weeks and I had not heard any update at all as to when my couch would be delivered. After numerous attempts via instant message, emails (with no response), phone calls I was finally told on 9/23 that there was an issue with the color I had selected and that's why it was taking so long. I would have appreciated if someone could have reached out sooner, as I would have selected another color in order to get my couch. On 10/13 my couch was finally delivered 16 weeks later. That time frame is truly unacceptable and you have lost a customer for life. I WILL NOT be purchasing any items from you nor would I ever suggest someone to purchase any items from you. My advice would be to work on your customer communication and own up to the fact that it took you more than double the time to deliver an item with absolutely no resolve for a committed customer. read more

Purchased furniture a week ago. Salesperson was polite but could not answer questions. Signed up for delivery and set-up. Tried to reschedule delivery date- no option to do so online. Called into the 800# (which is the only number anywhere... they don't even offer chat support online). Waited on hold 45-60 minutes each of the 3 times I called in just to change a dang date. If service is this poor now I'm already regretting my purchase. read more

Visited this store on a Saturday afternoon and had a great, unique experience. My infant became hungry and I told the associate that I'd have to head to the car to nurse her. She recommended I use their conference room, that another associate was eating lunch in. He quickly offered to use another room to eat so I could have privacy. Totally unexpected and kind gestures by both associates. We worked with Joann and I don't know the other name. read more

I purchased the Revive series 6 queen mattress in June - it was delivered the first of July. The sales guy told me "it will take a few weeks to soften up" (I ordered plush). It is honestly, the worst mattress I've ever slept on. I chalked it up to "just needing to be broken in" and now I wake up day after day with a sore back. It is literally the same as sleeping on the floor. And it's supposedly "plush". It is firmer than my firm mattress in my guest room. But I've just learned that Living Spaces doesn't have its OWN BRAND mattress as a "sleep trial" so I'm stuck with this garbage. I guess if I would have seen they don't even stand behind their own mattresses, I would have realized I was buying trash. Please save your back and go to mattress firm, this company doesn't know how to make a plush mattress. NEVER will I shop there again. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

Furniture is wonderful, customer reps are polite and wonderful. The Corporate department not so much. Purchased chair that had a manufacturer defect. Leg broke on the chair because of the defect, placement was not in the correct location. Store blamed us for not reporting the defect at the time of delivery. We would be responsible for the $100 repair to the chair. The chair was purchased for $177. Chairs were delivered and set-up by Living Spaces. All items appeared correct at the time of delivery (which was in the middle of moving into the house). Not exactly easy to see that one leg of the chair did not line-up with the other legs when the chair is sitting on the legs. read more

Just an update on my couch. I just wanted to add to my review that the warranty company ran me in circles until I finally gave up. My couch is a piece of junk. People who "come over can't believe that living Spaces sold me this couch. I would still never ever ever shop there again. read more

I read through every single negative review and still decided to take a chance because I found the couch that I wanted. I purchased it on Labor Day. The Sales guy stated that same day delivery would not happen and encouraged me to save the whopping delivery fee and pick it the next day myself. Later that night, my hot water heater burst and flooded my entire kitchen and living room. Our floors and baseboards were destroyed. I immediately called Tuesday morning and cancelled my order. Since I was less than 12 hours from purchasing it, I was told I would receive the full refund via ACH within 2 business days. By Friday of that same week, I still had not received the refund. I called the following Monday and spoke to someone in the billing department that told me that it would take up to 7 business days for it to be refunded and for me to "patiently" wait another 2 days. By Thursday, I still had not received my refund. I called again and was told "Don't know what to tell you. We did what you asked." At this point, I called my bank and asked them if they saw a credit pending, which they did not. My bank issued me a temporary credit as we were dealing with over $1100 outstanding. My bank told me they would contact the merchant and get them to issue me the refund. Once they issued it, my temporary credit would be reversed. This was September 15th. I finally got my refund from Living Spaces on November 21st. Over 2 months since I cancelled my order. Unbelievable. The reviews were right. Customer Service is non-existent. Since then, I had a new neighbor move in who purchased a couch that was falling apart less than 6 months from purchasing it from Living Spaces. We compared bad experiences. Glad my hot water heater warned me that night. read more

I'm frustrated that they claimed I would be able to track my order delivery in real time and see how many stops the delivery driver has left. The window was 6 - midnight and it is saying I'm stop number 5 and it's 7:30, still says they are on stop number 1. That can't be right. Update: they arrived at 10 pm last night, the delivery drivers were very nice but the delivery arrived missing 2 legs, now i have to lose money by staying home from work today so the rest of the couch can be delivered. I'm pretty upset. read more

Not pleased with my experience thus far about 4 months ago we bought a new sofa out the door spent about $2,400 on special order so we had a family emergency and had to move out of state I did everything on my part to make sure that the address was updated and even had Customer Service call me to set up the delivery and they confirmed the correct address as well. So when the sofa did not come and was no delivered here calls customer service somehow the sofa for delivered to the old address and someone on the customer service side did not call the vendor and change the address once again not my fault so let me say why they are only giving me two options to either wait another 8-12 weeks for another sofa (which i don't have one right now cause I thought the other one is coming) or to pay the restocking fee of 25% for canceling the order. Well let's see something that is not my fault and I still have to be punished by either waiting 8-12 weeks with no sofa or paying almost over $600 for something that was not my fault, Think about that!!!! And now that I'm trying to get a hold of a manager or supervisor cause they are the only ones that can make the decision to waive the fee somehow they are always not able to talk or only want to email back and forth and they never respond. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Living spaces need's to make this right and take ownership of their mistakes. read more

Zero stars for their quality of product (two broken pieces upon delivery) and terrible customer service when trying to get new pieces delivered in a timely manner. I regret spending $8k in furniture here read more

ZERO STARS is what I would give them if I could. If you have DISABILITIES, DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! They do not accommodate those with disabilities and are so disrespectful. I went to store(Gilbert ) and found a table I love...it is 695$. I took a pic but forgot to get the measurements. I have tried everything under the sun to get in touch with someone from the store to get a measurement...there is no way to contact them. The number is unanswered...the on line chat does not respond...I tried the on line chat and the text chat.....neither would respond. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. And yes I am trying during business hours. I was just there a few hours ago and there was no customers....so don't give me this Covid crap about customer service. Very disappointed ...I have bought furniture there for years...not again. read more

If Zero stars were possible, that is what my rating would be for customer service regarding an issue with an order. I purchased custom pillows that were 2-6 weeks delivery. after 3 weeks I called to check on the status, I was told they couldn't help me unless it had been at least 6 weeks. After 6 weeks I called again and was told the order wasn't done. After I kept prompting for a explanation I was finally told the order wasn't placed correctly and was never sent to the vendor. No apology or communication to make it right. There response was "Do you just want to cancel it?", there was no effort to make this right. After multiple calls to speak to a manager, they refused to put me through and were indignant regarding the situation. I was told if I want any response from management I had to send a message via email, which I did the first week of December. But of course, I have not heard back from them. Apparently my order wasn't large enough for them to properly respond. I would NOT recommend this store for their customer service alone. We all know there are mishaps and things can go wrong with orders, but the frustration of speaking to sarcastic reps and they not allowing me to speak to a manager, nor a manager returning my e-mail, lends me to warn people to never take a chance purchasing from them. There products aren't that good! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! read more

This place deserves zero stars. My girlfriend purchased a brand new $4,000 couch a little over a month ago, and we were assured by the sales associate that removing the covers to machine was was safe and would not void the warranty. (We have kids and dogs) Today we took one cushion cover and washed it, where it got absolutely shredded. After contacting costumer service, we were told that they do not sell replacement covers and they may or may not send in a report to have it replaced due to the warranty that we paid for? What kind of place makes you pay for a warranty that they may or may not abide by? Their solution to us was to buy a whole $1,200 dollar SECTION of the couch, not replace a 50 dollar piece of fabric. Thats like buying a car and when the breaks go out you take it to the dealership and they're like nope, sorry, just have to buy a new car. This is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. Awful customer service. I wish we had taken our business elsewhere. DO NOT buy from this place read more

I sat in my home waiting for this delivery and at (p called to find out it had not even been put on the truck. Rescheduled for 2 days later. We will see if it does on that day. Buyer beware We purchased $2k worth of leather couches with the electric motion, cup holders and built in AC and USB chargers and we purchased the warranty for the extra money (waste of money) First problem we noticed all the adjustments on the interior frames started coming loose and shifting making the couches look like they are leaning away from each other only after 1 month Then we noticed the reclining foot was badly leaning hard to one side making your left foot way lower than your right and causing back discomfort We then called the location we purchased these quality items and they took our information and promised a call back. They never called shocker right?! So after several attempts we were given a contractor that works for all of the local furniture stores to come do an onsite, he told us that our frame needs to be adjusted and tightened which solved the first couched problem Then he said the other couch will need to have one frame replaced and he would order it and have it installed when it arrives in 6-8 weeks I will update the review after we actually get our couches fixed I was warned that these couches are doomed to fall apart because they are super flimsy and it's a common issue These couches are now still less than a year old and it's not confidence inspiring to add more couches to my collection after this type of quality on what appeared to be beautiful looking furniture UPDATE I finally have a fixed couch Yes it's the middle of May and that's over 6 months it took to get the factory warranty taken care of It took a dozen phone calls to get the part delivered and believe it or not they didn't install it they just dropped it and left I actually had to call and schedule the install more phone calls nice right? Finally a sub contractor showed up and yes it's all fixed and works great So quit your job and go to work on getting your warranty covered god forbid you ever need it with this company GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!! read more
