This place is great to have late night meal with friends. Average price for their skewers are about $2 which is alright but they do have cheap beers. We love their bean curd salad. Good and fast service. The place isn't super clean but not too bad.

Honestly, this is my guilty pleasure and my favorite Chinese BBQ spot in Flushing hands down. The food here is very consistent and always tastes great. They are open to late night and it is a very good spot to gossip and drink with friends at night Just know what you're getting yourself into before coming here! The meat isn't as high quality as say Friendship BBQ but what makes this place taste very good is the amount of seasoning they put onto the meat. If I were to compare, friendship bbq has a more clean taste with higher quality meat while this place has more seasoning which packs more flavor! If you are a lover of salt and seasoning, this is the place to go. I always order beef, fish tofu, chives, sausages, and the buns! The buns here are so freaking amazing. Sadly, if you aren't Chinese or can't speak Chinese, there is going to be a language barrier. They can generally understand you but just don't expect the service here to be great. It's a hole in the wall!

Good skewer spot that doesn't get crowded and opens late. A menu is placed at the table and you just mark how much of each item you want before handing it in. They give you edamame as an appetizer for the table as you wait for your food. They bring things out as they finish cooking it and it also comes out pretty fast. The skewers are good and seasoned well. The lamb is a bit on the stronger side and also chewier than I prefer. I was disappointed that the fish tofu was cut in half before placed on the skewer so it's actually less. The chicken was juicy and good! They also serve good fried rice, dumplings and beef noodle soup. The beef noodle soup has a very hearty broth and tastes pretty authentic. There aren't big pieces of beef but rather more tendons. Get the scallion pancakes (which is the thick type) and dip it in the soup so it soaks up the yummy broth. Overall, a pretty decent spot for a late night meal.

Soup without any ingredient. Did I just order hot water ? I understand business is slow. But come on ..

I don't think I would find this location unless you live nearby in the community since there is so much options in Northern Blouverd. There is a bar upstairs so you will see people smoking outside. So we came here because our friend who lives in the community just wanted something more simple and quick. There is a decent options of skewers, cold dishes, fried noodles/rice. For the drinks you just got up to front to get on your own (it will be calculated onto your bill by the waiter). I didn't find anything special with the skewers. It was my first time here we just over ordered. I find one cold dishes pretty interesting which is the cucumber jelly fish dish. It is more tours the spicy side because I bite on some pepper seeds which gave me whole mouth a spicy sensation so I had to stop eating it (I can only take MILD spicy). They also have preserve duck eggs version for people who likes preserve duck eggs! I wouldn't mind coming back for their cold dishes but I think that is basically it.

DO NOT USE TALLY MARKS. They mistaken our tally II (two) as the number 11!!! Good thing it was just the pork and beef skewers and nothing strange... Other than that, it seems like a good/cheap place to get a late late snack and some beer. Unfortunately I was too full so I skipped the alc this time. To get: Beef - Tasted great and not tough at all!! I do not regret the 11 skewers haha Eggplant with salted egg - Mmm so yummy!! Would've went perfectly with a bowl of rice too. I think I've only recently realized how big of a fan I am of eggplants (used to hate it as a kid lol) Tendon - on this list instead of "Okays" because was interesting and not tough Tofu fish - a nostalgic classic for me and my cousins :P Okays: Lamb skewers - I usually prefer lamb but it was meh here. Cousins from flushing says they're more known for the beef than lamb. Oysters - seems a bit pricey (I'm used to $1 happy hours ones) but mine in the pic was large . My cousins, not so large. Comes with some noodles on top. Not to get: Enoki mushrooms (needle mushrooms on menu?) - seems overpriced for what you get Cauliflower- again, seems overpriced for what you get Sausage - forgot which one it was but we did not finish the one in our pic. Note: Table was a little janky so I got scratched by an edge. Be careful!

The staff are very attentive and fairly polite. The restaurant itself is a nice cozy clean spot to catch a quick eat, or to settle down and chit chat over some BBQ sticks with friends etc. Prices are good. Overall the food wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything overly special compared to other restaurants in the area that serve similar things. The flavoring was nice (mostly mild spicy so be sure to grab a drink lol) My only complaint was the low quality of the meat used especially with the beef. Most of the cuts used for the sticks & soup were fatty, boney, or chewy tendons.

Opens until 4am. 6am for breakfast. Xian Lamb kabobs are sooo good. 2.5 for beer? Now thats authentic! I warn you though the service is very slow but grilling does take time. Great place for drinking and taking your time.

It is very irresponsible to give me something that I did not order, to pass the buck to the supplier who purchased the goods, I only know where I eat, do I still need to know where the rice bought? The waiter said to me, it's none of my business what you ate, nobody asked you to come to this restaurant. Wow ... scare me, I never know any restaurants look like this, very good service!

Came here with a couple of friends since it was 3am and we were intoxicated and hungry ~~ luckily this place opened till 4am! Food was surprisingly good and the prices were really reasonable. Def will be going back again!

Service (5/5): This is a self-cook, manning your own meat establishment. The food comes out prepared on trays at fairly quick speed. Burners worked well and were changed out when burned. The burner seemed small but we were able to cook fast enough to keep everyone happy. Food (4/5): For 6 of us (4F & 2M), we ordered just the right amount of food: Meat Lover's Stair Combo, Beef combo, veggie platter, 2 rice. I'd say that all of the meat was super tender but nothing stood out too much. None of the meat was marinated except for 1 meat in the stair combo that turned out to be everyone's favorite. For all that food it was about $40/pp. A free small cup of Hershey's vanilla ice cream at the end of the meal. Overall, had a great time and good food!

Wagyu Place BBQ is one of the more upscale all-you-can-eat Japanese barbecue restaurants in…read moreFlushing, specializing in premium wagyu beef, sushi, seafood, and table-side grilling. We walked into a modern interior with a lively atmosphere, the kind of space that works well for groups or special occasions. The dining room had a polished, energetic feel with the grills built into each table and the staff moving efficiently between stations. Unlike most AYCE barbecue spots, the focus here is on higher quality cuts of beef, and the staff regularly came by to help grill the meat, making the experience feel more polished than a typical buffet. The wagyu is the main reason to visit. We ordered a selection and found the meat well marbled, tender, and noticeably better than what you would typically find at standard Korean or Japanese barbecue buffets. Depending on the menu we chose, there was a wide selection of Australian, American, and Japanese wagyu, along with sushi, sashimi, seafood, and other side dishes. Every meal also began with a cheese lobster, which came out rich and creamy, a nice addition before the barbecue started. We appreciated that the portions were generous, so it was better to order gradually instead of trying to sample everything at once, and the variety across the menu gave us room to explore different cuts and preparations. The dessert selection ended up being one of the biggest surprises. Fresh fruit like pineapple and cantaloupe was exceptionally sweet, and the soft serve and other desserts were a refreshing way to finish such a heavy meal. It helped balance out all of the rich meats, making the meal feel more complete instead of ending on another savory course. Service was another standout. The staff frequently checked on the table, replaced grills when needed, and helped cook and cut the meat to ensure everything was prepared properly. Since the restaurant is popular, reservations are a good idea during peak dinner hours, though the experience ran smoothly once we were seated. The team moved through the room with efficiency, and the pacing of the meal kept the flow steady without feeling rushed. Overall, Wagyu Place BBQ is one of the stronger premium AYCE barbecue experiences in Flushing. The quality of the wagyu, attentive service, and wide variety of barbecue, sushi, seafood, and desserts help justify the higher price. It is more expensive than a typical barbecue buffet, but if you are looking for a higher-end all-you-can-eat experience centered around quality wagyu, it is worth considering.
