I made an appointment, and they completely stood me up. Later, they claimed they tried to call me or left a voicemail to change the appointment, which is not true. They never called or left any message. I have documentation as evidence, but I chose not to continue the conversation because Max kept defending himself and arguing instead of trying to resolve the issue. They also had my mailing address incorrect. I spoke with Max the day before my appointment to correct it, yet there were still multiple errors. Overall, the business seems very unorganized. The receptionist told me Max was in the office, so I was surprised when Max later claimed my appointment was with a different representative. This inconsistency felt very unprofessional and questionable. I took time out of my day for this appointment, and it is extremely rude and unprofessional that they never showed up. I do not recommend doing business with this company. There are many other businesses that provide much better customer service.

They cut the wood and metal outside on the walkway. After hanging the doors, there was a lot of leveling to do that followed by touch up on all the nail marks and gaps in the wall frame. They did an amazing job with the installation and bringing the materials in the living room without bumping into anything. They took about 2.5 hours to complete the installation.

I would not recommend this company…read more My husband and I met with Ski at the end of a month, so what I'm about to say may be a result of any "end of month incentives," but I honestly cannot believe the encounter we had. Previously, we had received two other quotes from competitors. One of them highly recommended Simonton Daylight Max windows. When we talked to Ski about this option, he said while he sells them, he doesn't recommend them. He said they use tin on their screens and brackets. Instead, he pushed for Anlin (and when I say pushed, I mean, it was our only option given for our "price point"). The hardest part of this interaction was the hard sell we were given. First, we were given a price of $14K (3 windows and 1 slider), then he said he'd waive the labor fee, then he said there's a last-day-of-the-month discount, then there was a day-of discount but it was only good for TODAY ONLY!!! (Yes, that's how it was written on the estimate.) Even after all those discounts, it was still over $3K from the other bids we had gotten. All that said, we felt the pressure and we thought about giving in but really couldn't afford to pay over $8500. He was at $8800 (remember, it was first $14K). We asked him to come down another $300 and he said his manager said no, that we were getting the most amazing deal on windows. Then Ski proceeded to try to bribe us with an In N Out gift card he received for his birthday. This didn't sit well with me. It also didn't sit well that he told my dog to "watch where you're going," but that's me being a nutty dog owner, I guess. When he couldn't get to $8500, he tried calling their Anlin supplier but couldn't reach him (he called him three times and left messages). At the end of the day we couldn't reach a deal, and Ski left. No thank you or goodbye. It was obvious he was unhappy. Look, I get it. He was here for over an hour and didn't get a sale. I'd be frustrated too. But the pressure he put on us, the other options he didn't want to share, and that big price tag really put us off. I know a lot of people on these reviews speak highly of Ski, and maybe we caught him on an off day. But I knew when he left and I felt disappointed in myself for not making enough money to buy the "nicer" windows, it was a problem. If you're okay with a hard sell and negotiating over and over again, maybe this is the right company for you, but I'm happy going with another that didn't make me feel like crap at the end of the day.

Our installer, Danny Alonzo, was fantastic from start to finish. He has excellent communication skills and gave us a clear, realistic expectation of the time to completion. He was incredibly friendly, polite, and professional the entire time -- I honestly wish every contractor or vendor we use could be as good as Danny! We picked a custom color and the door came out exactly the shade we chose. It's solid, heavy, and makes a huge difference compared to our old door. We had bought and pre-painted our own interior moulding, and Danny installed it perfectly with no issues at all. I'm terrible at making clean silicone joints around moulding, but he did an amazing, professional job on them. He even went above and beyond when he noticed some stucco damage around the front door. He pointed it out to us and patched it beautifully -- way better than I could have done myself, lol! The finished door looks absolutely beautiful. These windows are still perfect in every way. These woods come with value and reliability. When we added on to our home about 10 years ago, the contractor used their window company. We ordered some custom sized windows to keep consistency with the rest of our home...and those have never been right. A couple years ago the large, back window split in the frame. We had no question that Hometime would replace the window...and it's both well constructed & beautiful, with two perfectly working locks. The install was done by Eduardo and his crew. It was an early morning appointment, but Eduardo showed up in time. Both he and the other installer were friendly, efficient, and clean. They took less than 2 hours, door knock to exit, and left not a scrap or bit of dust in their perfect install. When we consider cost, style, AND locally, independently owned companies, we will have Hometime do all our windows, always. In the future we will also request Eduardo as our installer. Thanks!
