They had 3 tables for 4 and 3 tables for 2. There is also sweating at the counter. The staff were so nice and helpful. My husband had the meatball parmesan sub, on a fresh hoagie roll, with fries. I had a special, wrap with spicy chicken and fries. I asked for a side of ranch. Found out they make their ranch in house and it is delicious!! They make their bread. They had cakes and pies on display. Will be back in the area again for the SAC beach tournament and will definitely come back to Carter's Corner.

For takeout, I ordered the Steak Philly Cheese Hoagie with Fries ($9.95 plus tax) My food was hot & ready to go in 10 minutes, ketchup provided too. The 12" Hoagie was cut in halves and loaded heavy with lots of melted cheese, shaved grilled steak, sauteed onions & mushrooms on a soft thick sub roll. The golden fries were very hot and lightly salted. Overall, Carter's Corner was a good detour lunch stop for a very filling steak & cheese sub with fries at a reasonable price and friendly service. I would stop by here again if I was traveling through Greeneville again.
