    Cheese Curds

Easy access from Doubletree Hotel...just through the lobby. Upbeat and inviting. Kaitlyn did an amazing job. She was running the front by herself with lots of customers and she was great. Friendly and engaged. Great recommendation of the Banging Shrimp and Cheese Curds. A shout out to the cooks...Ricky and Jeremy. Great job guys. The burger was great...for $12 you choose everything and no extra charges for cheese or other toppings except some special stuff like bacon, bacon jam and a fried egg. Definitely check this place out. It was a bit warm due to the unseasonably warm weather today...82 degrees high. But Kaitlyn kept the water coming.

    Turkey burger

This place is connected to a the double tree hotel. You can customize your burger in so many ways or go for an entree. Kaitlin and Julia (bartenders) are super nice. This place can be quiet being dedicated to a hotel but anyone can come in, watch sports (ask them to turn TV volume up), and relax after a long day. I stayed a week here and tried many things. Hope these pics help. I liked the turkey burger, the Parmesan crusted chicken Alfredo was good, and buffalo wings did not disappoint.

This food here is really good and reasonable price. Lively atmosphere but it's not loud. The workers are kind and I was tended to in a timely manner. Definitely recommend. The burgers have a nice grilled taste to them. Almost like in your backyard. It was a nice surprise. Beer in photo is $5.

    Side salad was fresh.

Very good experience for us! Cheese curd appetizer and banging shrimp were good. The large burger was also good tasting with a brioche bun. A fresh side salad and cold Shrimp also hit the spot! Kaitlyn took very good care of us. Thank you Kaitlyn, Ricki and Jeremy for a way above-average hotel dining experience in Johnson City. Keep up the good work.

Nice bar, locals say the burgers are amazing. I'll report back.

I don't think that I can do this place justice. This hotel bar/ restaurant claims to have the best burgers with locally sourced beef and a crazy long list of toppings available. I can honestly say that this was the best burger I have ever tasted. Cooked to perfection ( medium rare) with an outside crust that will put your home grilling to shame. Great service from a great bartender (Julia). If you live in Johnson city...you need to come here...NOW. I will be back, even if it takes a 4 hr drive.

The menu, grab a marker and check off what you want on burger

I was staying the night at the DoubleTree Hotel. Decided to try them out, I noticed that they had 2 private events and a huge group at a table. It was still pretty empty ( minus the group ) and the two private events were in another area inside the hotel. It was a slow atmosphere in the dining area it self. So ordering here is a bit different, you grab a marker and check mark what u want on your burger. Thankfully they had a " black Bean Burger " I would have left if they didn't, since I'm a vegetarian. I also ordered the sweet potato fries with mustard mayo. The fries didn't come with it; that was a extra $2.50 I think. Well, the food took a while to come out and when it did came it was a chicken sandwich, WRONG ORDER ( it looked really good so I took a picture of it, lol ) !! Then she had to put my order back in and OMG that took forever. While I was waiting I decided to try this mustard mayo and it's sweet, don't let the name of the sauce scare you. It's really really good....by the time my burger came I wasn't even hungry anymore because of the wait time and I got annoyed..... So I asked for the burger to go and then I had to wait even longer for her to come to my table to get my visa card. She finally came and said ; " On the house " !!! Ladies and Gents that's how you get 5 stars, LMAO ! Just joking !! I'm honestly giving them five stars because later that night I ate the burger and it was amazing and I also understand that they were busy with 2 private events and 1 huge table of almost 20 people. Also if you order sweet tea, It isn't sweet at all so go ahead and use about 13 packs of sugar, just giving you a heads up, unless she gave me un-sweet tea by accident.

Just not good. I had fish and chips. I know it's a burger bar. Service less than good. Food really bad. As a Hilton member I was not impressed. It could be so much more. The breading on the fish was over the top. It's obvious that knowone cares in management. The other food I saw come out was not good.

A classic burger joint where the food is great and the prices are good. Highly recommend the Mormon. It's the first Mormon I met and liked.

The outside area has TV's, lots do covered areas for shade, and even heaters for the cold months. Just a great vibe. The service was fantastic! Our server was amazing. We ordered the grilled peach margarita (get this) and the top shelf marg which was also good (so good that we ordered 2 more). They also have a peanut butter jelly beer that we tried that was delicious. Well done drinks! We only ordered an app to snack on. Let me be clear about this... ORDER THIS!!! It was the Firecracker Pork Belly. Listen to me... this is dream worthy. This is magic. This is insanely good. Absolutely not enough words to describe how amazing this is and how much you have to get it. The pork belly itself is crunchy on the outside while also melting in your mouth. Then, the General Tso sauce served with it is perfection. There are scallions and a creamy sauce in the plate as well. You will question if it's okay to lick the plate. This place is great! I'm honestly surprised it doesn't have a full five-star rating. The food is excellent--creative, high-quality gastropub fare that's easily some of the best we've had in the area. As newcomers, one of the biggest adjustments has been finding great restaurants, and Label has definitely filled that gap. We had a large group, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone's meal came out great, and not a single person left disappointed. To top it all off, the desserts were phenomenal and the perfect ending to a great meal. If you're looking for one of the best dining experiences in Johnson City, Label is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back!

The lady told me she didn't have change, and when I pulled out some coins, I assumed she meant she didn't have change in coins. I ended up giving her cash and change, and she said thank you. I then asked, "Can I get my change back?" because I was supposed to receive about $5 back. Apparently, she had assumed I was giving her a $5 tip on a $15 takeout order. To be clear, I was not. I understand tipping when someone is providing a service, but this was a takeout order--I walked in, picked up my food, and left. There was no table service or anything beyond handing me my order. She did have to go to the back to get my change and brought it back to me in $1 bills. The whole situation was just awkward and frustrating. Between the extremely small portion and the confusion over my change, I honestly wasn't impressed with the experience.

Right on the waters of Boone Lake... huge bar with seating for 25+ folks with 30+ tables for dining and enjoying the sun and the view... Chatted with the proprietor when me and my cousin stopped in while we were cruising the lake just before the 4th of July. Enjoyed a couple of beers. He has a nice selection of Louisiana Abita beers (Amber, Purple Haze, Turbo Dog, Andygator etc...) Several beers on tap plus good selection of bottled beer as well. Does not offer spirits or liquor however. As you would expect from the name this place has a LA flair and the proprietor advised he started cooking his version of "Louisiana cuisine" so that he could gain entry into the many festivals that are held in the Tri-City area as he pretty much is the only vendor offering "Louisiana cuisine". While we were chatting and enjoying a beverage or 3 had several couples stop in from the land side (as opposed to the water side) and sit down for a meal. My cousin and I did not partake of any menu offerings but the folks there did seem to enjoy the food that was being prepared. If you're out on Boone Lake and running toward the Johnson City side of the lake I'd highly recommend a stop in to give this place a try.
