Horrible!! The little divot in the vegetables where the spoon is, is where the duck was nestled. TINY!!! And underwhelming!!
Fernando G.

I've had Thai food hundreds of times, and the tamarind duck is one of my favorites. It usually comes with the thick sweet and sour tamarind sauce, juicy yet crispy-skinned duck, and some delicious white rice to go with it. This tamarind duck was dry, old, and such a tiny portion to boot, about half the size of my palm, and, at $18.50, I'm sadly not exaggerating. The rice is old and bland and the vegetables are flavorless. The spring roll was the worst part of all! Or was it the Thai Iced Coffee that tasted like a pound of sugar?? Or was it when the waitress double-checked in my to-go bag, which only had one item, yet still I opened my bag to find no cutlery? And yes I left a small tip for pickup! Geez! So disappointed, but you live and you learn.

Beware !!! These people are crooks! I have had issues with this restaurant charging my card extra fees AFTER my food has been delivered in the past (pay attention to your uber eats receipt ). I haven't ordered from them in MONTHS for this specific reason. Today, I attempted to order food from them via doordash, and a representative from the restaurant called me AFTER I placed an order for over $32 worth of food and told me I NEED TO LEAVE A BIGGER TIP !!?? I am disgusted and mortified. I will be calling the better business bureau, and I am on the phone with doordash while I'm typing this review. I asked her to cancel my order, and she said, "No, you cancel it !" Keep in mind that this establishment's restaurant owners deliver their food, so it's not like they're advocating for their door dashers... they are supporting for their own pockets. Also, the food from here is just OKAY. Again beware !!

Mock duck pad ped, yummy!

This place has legit good food and good sized portions, although I think their mock duck selections are stupid expensive. If you are north of the city, this may be your best, expensive option for good Thai food. Life could be worse. I cannot deny that I really enjoyed the mock duck pad pad that I ordered but the price is simply too high. $22.95 for a vegetarian dish. When you see that on the menu, you think twice about ordering other items for the heck of it. This is the second time I have been here while visiting a friend and each time the food has been very good. Apparently, their prices have not put them out of business. The ambience is cozy, the staff is efficient, and the table was clean. But really? $22.95?

I thought there was no good Thai food outside of the city. However we found this "very little" Thai restaurant in Scarsdale New York. We were there visiting family in while touring small downtown area we're looking for a place to dine. There are actually numerous restaurants in the area this one was tucked away next to the train station. If you blink while walking you will miss it. For a small restaurant the menu is very expansive. Prices are average for this part of New York state. I ordered the green curry chicken. This was served in a bowl along side a small bowl of rice. The flavor was good with richer curry taste not watered down. They included eggplant and bamboo shoots which was nice. Our group also ordered the Pad Thai, which was actually very good. With a good portion size. We also had the Thai tea which was yummy. They do not have Wi-Fi here or a bathroom. Seems this restaurant is mostly designed for carry out. Overall a solid choice for Thai food if you are in the area. They might even GrubHub.

Thai Cookery Street Food has filled its spot, offering dine in, delivery, and pickup orders. Stepping inside of this high-class establishment with beautiful aesthetics that presented a well lite dining experience, through-out the restaurant, I found it to be a very relaxing and a welcoming environment. I was greeted and seated; the staff was very kind. I viewed the menu and chose Thai Crispy chicken rice bowl, the chicken satay, and a salad. The salad had a ginger dressing, and it was really tasty. I had the Satay chicken only because I tasted the Satay chicken at Boon Dee Moo Ka Ta. It tasted nothing like Boon Dee, so I found it the least and it was on the dry side, the Thai Crispy chicken was more on the bland side, but the jalapenos gave it a kick. This setting felt more like speed dating, instead it was speed eating. Everything was rushed and the timing of bringing out the food was way off; the food was brought out within minutes of each other. Maybe because it is Street Food, I mean, it's in the name. I had to rush eat so that the food would not get cold, but I failed. Maybe if I had a shovel, I could pack it in quickly. With a packed mouth, I desire to. Inspire more, Yelp more!

After that it was down hill. I found the beef sticks that people rave about overcooked, and so hard they could not be chewed. The sauce was also a turn off because the beef sticks were gratuitously over sweet. I literally tried to take one bite and gave up. I brought the container of beef sticks that I had been served, up to the counter. I explained about them.being overlooked, hard and not being able to chew them and the staff looked at me in disbelief. Nevertheless, they were gracious and offered to remake it. I said no thank you, and they asked if I wanted anything else instead, I was delighted for this offer. I requested another order of the utterly delicious sesame noodles, and they very kindly accomodated me. I also had the Thai fried rice, which was also something customers who wrote reviews raved about. For me the dish was a complete fail. There were a few delicious shrimp on top and mixed in, which I ate thinking that the dish was very promising. After that it was a treasure hunt. The rice was so dry and anything else in the container was tasteless, but I was super hungry. So I searched for the itsy bitsy pieces of pineapple and for the peas and some little pieces of chicken. All the vegetables were cut so small that you really couldn't taste them, except the peas. Even the pineapple was so so small it failed to flavor the dish. I would say after eating the few shrimp and picking out the pineapple and peas that 90% of the food remained in the container. They offered me a top for the container so I could take it home, but I declined, and I quietly l tossed it out when I left. It was just so dry and tasteless I didn't think that anything I might do to it at home to try to give it some taste, would make any difference. I don't recommend the food based on what I had except for the sole exception of the extraordinarily good sesame noodles.
