The food here is bland, tastes, like it is premade and microwaved, poor excuse for Thai food. It's a parent from every dish that they take zero pride in their food. Pad Thai is mushy noodles, slapped together. Chicken basil dish is chicken that tastes like cardboard in brown water tastes less sauce with a couples is tasteless veggies. We were very disappointed by our take out order Saturday night. The food was tasteless. I ordered the Ginger Chicken and there was barely any chicken and it was totally bland. First of al everything I ate here was delicious and tasted so authentic. The owner and staff is all women owed and I was so pleased with the service and presentation of food. I ordered. Pad see ew lunch special which comes with a light and tasty wonton soup. Wry all portion but the flavor is wow. I also ordered the pad Thai and papaya salad with sticky rice on the side. It was awesome they had sticky rice bamboo holder. I get so comfortable and I was very pleased with the food and service. Parking was easy since they have a huge parking lot. I had a delicious lunch from here! Started off with the wonton soup, which were tender and perfectly cooked in a delicious broth with a hint of onions. The pad see ew was delicious, with chicken, flat egg noodles, and baby bok choy all mixed together. The pad Thai was one of my favorites, with rice noodles, chicken, crushed peanuts, and fresh sprouts complementing each other. An awesome place for lunch! read more

The Tom Yum soup is all off. The massaman curry is completely off! The chicken was boiled and thrown in with the watery curry... jezz. The soup is all chicken broth!! No lemongrass.. so disappointed. Have gone here for years and the food was always good... tonight was a different story, and we will never go here again! My entree was cold and undercooked. I asked for it to go back to the kitchen to be cooked properly (I've ordered this dish before), the waitress yelled at me! I hate to give a restaurant 3 stars rating when their food deserves 4 stars. The 1 star deduction is for the service and the price. I met up with my girlfriend and her hubby on a Friday night after work. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived. We each ordered an entree, crab meat fried rice, spicy eggplant basil, and Pad See Ew with Tofu. I totally agree with the other reviews, the portion is definitely small with the price they charge you. We had to order a Panang Curry with Beef halfway during our dinner because we know the portion was not going to be enough. The curry comes with barely 5 slices of beef, and not much bell peppers either. Call me cheap, but I think that's too expensive unless those are some grade A beef. Service is not as nice as how the restaurant looks. We were chatting after dinner and we had the feeling that they want to get us out because they didn't wait much to give us the bill. Like I mentioned, the restaurant was not busy at all. At 9pm, the waitress told us they need to close so we need to pay. I am sure even in Mamaroneck, a thai restaurant wouldn't close at 9pm on a Friday night. read more

This was an amazing find in the area. There was a Thai place that got taken over and the decor was redone. It went from basic to lounge chic, which really comes through during the darker hours of the day. The service is kind and swift but the real attraction is the food. This is very authentic if you ask for "Thai style" but be ready for some spice. Or you can get hot sauce and chopped chilly and add it on top. The best thing I have had so far is the lettuce wraps. It's miles ahead of anything I have ever had anywhere else. The curries are also excellent with the perfect consistency. The last item I tried was the whole fried fish - Snapper - YUM! I have been 3 times in 3 weeks and I think it will be a weekly visit until we've been through most of the menu. read more

I love the Thai soup: Tom Yum w/Coconut Milk. The authentic is with chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes, and sometimes lettuce. I was in the mood for it, and ordered it as an extra choice. Well, this had chicken and a bad choice of very slimy mushrooms. The broth tasted authentic, but the rest was not even close. The chicken was extremely YUCK! I ended up drinking the broth, and left the rest in the bowl. I was there on a Wednesday at around 1-ish. I was surprised to only see 2 other people and a baby there. You would think it would be busier. I was thinking it might be a bit busier for dinner....but very sadly, I will not be returning. read more

There are 8 or 9 things to choose from and you can pick your protein separately. I had one of my go-to thai meals - tofu pad see ew. First of all the dressing on the salad was excellent - creamy and peanut-y while still being a little on the savory side. My husband and I order Pad Thai from here frequently and we love the food. So we decided to order dinner last night however, the food was terrible. It tasted plain as if there was any kind of seasoning and the chicken was inedible. In addition to the food being poor quality with no taste and over cooked, we waited an hour and a half to get it. When we called to speak to someone at the restaurant the woman that picked up the phone had an attitude once I told her why we were calling. I told her that we order from there often and the food has never tasted this bad before. We spent over $50 and got food that we couldn't even eat. I asked if I can speak to the manager and she got upset and said she would take my number down to for them to call me, but never took my number. My wife and myself took a trip from Queens all the way to Westchester County to eat in this restaurant based on the reviews and to meet a couple of friends who lived in the area. Honestly, the food was just ok. It is, and never will be good as the original Spicy Shallot in Queens. I was disappointed they did not have the Pearl Harbor like the original one. The Pad Thai was good so I have to give them that. The waitress who served us looked like she had no personality. They were prompt with the food which was good. After all, we were the ONLY customers in the whole restaurant. Why should I drive 45 minutes to eat Thai Food when the best is only 5 minutes away from me? This little storefront belies the quality of this restaurant. Inside is warm and colorful with specials drawn on the big blackboard. The koi tank and decor gives it a tiny Thai taste but the food is excellent. The crispy dumpling and Tom Yum lemongrass soup are authentic and delicious. The Pad Thai is my staple and it always delivers. The space is small and so the service is both right there and polite. The bar is serviceable and a cold Thai beer in a frosted glass pairs great with the food. For dessert we took 4 of the 5 desserts on the board and fried ice cream, sticky rice, chocolate lava, fried banana w ice cream. Best Thai restaurant here at Westchester. We don't have to drive to Queens anymore. The service was very good and the food was very delicious. Our party of four had their pork sausage, papaya salad, pad Thai, flank steak, minced pork fried rice, Malay chicken curry, and their purple rice pudding. Yum yum yum. Everything was so tasty except for some tiny flaws. The Thai iced tea was big, but we had to ask for more milk/cream because it was too strong. The purple rice pudding could also have had a little bit more coconut cream, and the flank steak was served at room temperature. We wished it was a little bit warmer.
