I was in the area and decided to stop for lunch. The person behind the desk wasn't very welcoming and mostly spoke to the customer that was already seated. I ordered the sesame chicken combination platter that came with an egg roll OR drink. I had to pay extra for the drink. As you can see, the egg roll was burned and old. I was there waiting 15 mins in person, they could have at least dropped a fresh one. The sesame chicken is hard and there is very little sauce. I also order the crab Rangoon which was not very good and a small portion for the price. I will not be ordering from here again. read more

We've ordered a number of times now and let me tell you, This is THE PLACE to get your Asian cuisine fix satisfied. There's so many options on the menu, every item we've ordered has been fantastic! Their soups are exquisite and incredibly tasty. I love the added touch of putting egg into the vegetable fried rice, reminds me so much of downtown Manhattan eateries we loved to go to. This place used to be amazing...when I ordered I realized they did not recognize my office number etc. Previously they retained this info so I asked them if they changed hands becuase the person on the phone was new. They said they had not. I got a standard order...curry soup, moo shoo chicken and singapore mai fun. My say something nice is that the food arrived warm. ANd that is the only thing I can say. The singapore mai fun was NOT what little kitchen used to put out. This was loaded with curry and was not the thai style. Curry soup was totally different and not pleasant. There was so much curry it was gritty and unpleasant to eat. Moo shu was flavorless and basically just sauteed cabbage with a couple of pieces of chicken. I was so dismayed I researched and confimed this restaurant changed hands and the new owner does not respond to complaints ( I tried) nor is the new owner committed to the traditional recipes ....they have replaced them with their own and its NOT good thing. I only do pick up and my food is ready under 30 minutes! Sesame chicken is still a go to along with fried rice, scallion pancake, and crab rangoon. This hurts to write, but I must. We've been ordering from them for years, and the food has always been super fresh, but Saturday night both my wife and my dinner were pretty bad. The lobster did not slide out of the shell easily, but was baked into it and when I finally extracted it, it was tasteless. My wife ordered Buddha's Delight, and not only was it flavorless, but there were chunks of potato inside! Whoever heard of a Chinese restaurant putting potato into a meal? The question is...do we give them another chance? The only way I can imagine doing so is if there's a blizzard and I don't want to drive. Place was good but things changed lately I order sesame chicken all the time but now chicken comes out hard with a fried old oil taste. They are very cheap as far as packing your stuff if you order a lot they stuff it into 1 bag and guess what bag breaks after you leave ask for another bag they make a face. God forbid you ask for extra duck sauce... FYI the charge you 50 cents for a little bag of noddles really that just cheap!!! That's like going to a restaurant and they charge you for bread!!! For a chinese take out spot you guys are great! I tend to get the combination platters and have never been let down. Super crispy General Tsos chicken, nicely prepared veggie fried rice and crunchy egg rolls. What more can I ask for? They're open late, offer delivery via uber eats and have never been let down. The generous serving of duck sauce with every order is also a nice touch. You guys are definitely my favorite chinese takeout in the mamaroneck/larchmont/new Rochelle area. I love Singapore mei fun and the place in my old hometown is the BEST place to get it. Since I no longer live there and was in the mood for it, I had to take a gamble with a new restaurant - this gamble did not pay off at all. In addition to the Singapore noodles, I also got an egg roll. The egg roll tasted slightly burnt and the noodles weren't good at all. The dish looked like it hasn't been mixed properly because in only one section there was this dark liquid that coated the noodles and it tasted strongly of star anise. I wouldn't recommend ordering either dish if you plan to eat here. read more

This used to be my favorite place to eat Chinese food in the area. The ingredients are fresh and the food tastes good. However, the owner doesn't know how to effectively deal with customers. It seemed every time I ordered (whether online or on the phone) they inevitably left the requested sauces or other things...tonight it was chop sticks, that you begin to wonder if they are doing it on purpose. So tonight, after waiting over an hour and 15 minutes for fried rice, lo mein and dumplings, I jumped in the shower before the delivery man came. Long story short, I called to apologize for my attitude with the delivery driver for not leaving my food at the door as requested, and forcing me to jump out of the shower to get the door. When I called, Juan the owner answered and not even understanding why I was calling, told me that I always have problems and did I have my food or not? Clearly I wouldn't have to call if they would get my order right. And wouldn't you think he would try to keep a long time (8 years at least) customer happy instead of losing my business? I have been picking up and getting delivery from Little Kitchen for years now but the service has gone downhill. Several times now I have called for a delivery (12 minutes away) and each time I am told it will be over in 30 minutes. This is a lie. Each time the food gets here in about an hour and a half. Tonight will make the third time. If it's going to take that long that's fine but at least say that! It's almost always ready when they say it will be and the portions are always generous, especially on the cold sesame noodles, which are one of my favorites. That said, I have not had a great experience at all with their dining-in option, and would not recommend it.
