My family and I came here on our way to Massachusetts. We wanted to eat and it was a little late for lunch but we didn't want fast food. Found this place through Yelp. Luckily we found parking right in front because there are only 4 spots. The time that we arrived was around 3PM so the staff was eating their lunch. We were seated right away. They let us ordered the lunch specials even though the specials end at 3PM. I ordered the drunken noodle lunch special with minced pork. My wife ordered pad Thai with eggplant lunch special. My daughter got sweet and sour chicken lunch special and my son got the beef and broccoli lunch special. All of the dishes were OK, not great. Service was adequate but staff was not very friendly. The floor needed to be swept because there was some food under one of the tables. We will not be coming back. read more

My friends and I ordered a couple of dishes (drunken noodle, garlic beef, and some shrimp dish) at this restaurant last Sunday. My friend ordered the shrimp dish. I forgot the name and when she ate her food . She found a cockroach looking like bug or insect. It was disgusting! My friend and I are traumatized! I hope they do something about this sanitation issue. This was one of the few times i ordered/ate at this place and never again. I posted a picture of the evidence. read more

Been here 2 times in the last 2 weeks, since I am in town on business. I went with the Pad Thai with tofu as this is one of my favorite go to Thai foods. I found it interesting they don't do any spice level for Pad Thai. I thought I was good, not the best I have ever had but I would go back and try a different dish to see how they do on other dishes. The restaurant was small and quiet and the people were really nice. Overall a very good experience. read more

I wanted to love this place. Instead, it's a definite like. In some ways, it has what you are looking for. Quick service and attentive. Water refilled. It's a small place across from train station but pleasant enough. The food was good. The basil chicken came with a boatload of brown rice and plenty of chicken. Surprisingly I could've used a few more veggies in it too. The pork dumplings were a bit disappointing. They were like warm when they came out and a little bland. Perhaps I should've gotten something else. Overall, I came away feeling that this is one of a whole host of solid Thai restaurants that a decade ago stood out. Now probably has a consistent following. But a destination? No, not quite. read more

Driven by this place a few times and we had always wanted to try it out. Finally we made it and it did not disappoint! Ordered way too much food for two people, but we really wanted to try a bit of everything since we were here. We had ordered the following: - Drunken noodles - Pad Thai (you have to order this if you are at a Thai restaurant for the first time) - Tom Yum soup - Nasi Goreng (Indonesian Fried Rice) Boy was everything flavourful! The soup was delicious! Very flavourful with a kick to it. We ordered the Drunken noodles as everyone was raving about it. It was really good - but beware! Super spicy and we didn't even ask for super spicy - we typically can handle our spices, but boy, this one took spicy to a whole new level. The Nasi Goreng was really good! Extremely disappointed. Mushy tasteless fried rice. Ordered two different rice dishes, both tasted the same, entirely unappealing. Chicken satay came as 2 whole overcooked cutlets, inedible. Without exception the worst Thai we have ever ordered. Will never return. read more

I have never experienced a behavior like this. A female server literally chased us outside for tip. I've been going to this restaurant for over 7 years and it's absolutely disheartening that I've been treated this way. She literally said we were suppose to pay 18% and I decided not to pay the full 18% as I wasn't happy with her service. She literally said "Indian restaurants charge 18 percent and if you can't then you should order take out" she just assumed just because I'm Indian I can't tip them. He would litellh throw our plate around, I asked for a straw and printed like she didn't even hear me. When I called her out on it she said "I heard you wait". JUST BECAUSE I'M INDIAN I BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS. Please report her!!!!! I have never experienced racism, I've been in this country for 11 years and it's brutal to be treated like this just for a dollar. Just because I didn't like her service. read more

Went here twice while staying in the Norwalk area for work. The dishes offered are pretty standard Thai fare, but all of the ones that I tried were done extremely well. The restaurant is also very fairly priced, and the service is excellent! I tried the vegetable spring rolls, basil eggplant, and cashew chicken during my different visits there this week. The veggie spring rolls were beautifully light despite being fried, and the plum sauce that came with them was sooooo good! The basil eggplant was pretty spicy, but I was fairly warned as they indicated the spice on the menu. It was still delicious though. The vegetables were treated so well, and each component's flavors came through. The cashew chicken was also very good. The sauce was rich and flavorful without being too heavy. Again, the vegetables tasted very fresh and were cooked well. I got this dish as a lunch special, and the portion was a very good size. If you're craving good Thai food in the are, I'd definitely recommend this place! read more

For sure one of the best Thai food in town. And I'm writing this review after so many orders I made from this place and so many that I'm planning to do. Food is always fresh super delicious and generous portions. I like the fried rice no matter what you had to eat. Nice people managing the place always happy to help always trying to make you get the best experience. Best Thai in the area. I always get the green curry chicken, hubby likes the massaman chicken. Always have enough leftovers for at least one more huge meal afterwards. It's small inside and parking is in the back. Love this place. Used to get delivery but the guy always ran over our lawn so we only do pickup now. read more

We always come here for a girl's lunch and I always leave happy. I think they have the best lunch special. Food is always fresh and good tasting. The owner was very sweet, I came here while pregnant and when came here with my daughter he positively commented above my lil nugget. Definitely will continue to come here. read more

Nice Thai restaurant around Stamford area. Not too many options for south eastern Asian food around that area so it was good to find one. Only hard to find a parking spot, be prepared for that especially on the weekends. read more

This is an Uber eats review. This was on the border of bad to worse. The portion size was really small and the shrimp soup smelled very fishy. I got the chicken curry with vegetables for lunch, the taste was over powered by the spice and grease. The chicken and the string beans were the best part, sadly there just wasn't enough of it. I threw out the soup. Uber eats has gotten too expensive and the food seems to be marked up about 10-20% more than online menu prices. Seems shady to me, overall not worth the $19 for soup and lunch portion. read more

It is late, no dinner, and I didn't feel like driving so far north to Kit's Thai in Stamford (live off 95). So I stopped off at Little Thai Kitchen and now it has become our "It thai place" in the area. The beef and chicken are always soft, flavorful, and tasty. I have had at least two Curry dishes, Pad Thai, and Pad Seuw - all kicked but. . .and they were nice of enough to refill my Thai Iced Tea as I was waiting for my order (take away) We have been back to Little Thai for dinner, as well. It isn't very busy during the week (lots of take out business) but the interior is well designed, nuvo, and cool. Overall - we loved the food, the flavors. . .though I guess the curries (even the mild ones) have been a little spicy for my wife. read more

We, a party of 8, were on 1-95 headed towards NY with the torrential rain making for slow progress on dark chilly Friday evening. So how does one deal with this misery? Thai food of course. A quick check with Yelp showed this Thai restaurant was just off the highway. A quick phone call and a pleasant lady confirmed they could have a table ready and waiting. As we turned the corner off Boston Post Road we spotted a life raft in the ocean of traffic, an empty parking spot right in front of the restaurant. As we pulled in our hearts sank. The restaurant looked like a hole in the wall. Could 8 people even fit inside? Could Karma be so cruel to bring us down a peg or two? As we enter our faith in Karma is restored. There along the far wall is a beautiful collection of tables pulled together in setting for 8. We must have done some good in this life to be so rewarded. Or is this just a tease, with a letdown in store? The waitress is there within a minute, menus handed out and water glasses filled. Orders for appetizers taken promptly and she comes back shortly for our entree selections. I note she puts pen to paper. A good sign I think because we 8 are very trying on any wait staff. A couple are vegetarian, another two want extra spice, another two want no heat whatsoever, someone chimes in "no fish sauce", while one wants an extra egg in their fried rice. This is a recipe for disaster... but not in this joint. Dish after dish arrived all exactly as ordered. From Som Tum to Kee Mao fried rice and all the way to Pad Ped Chicken extra spicy. Entree sizes are generous, the ingredients appear fresh, the taste is authentic. The group of 8 was unanimous in its verdict "a better food experience than many a fancy restaurant" This is no ordinary feat- to get this group on the same wavelength. We have not agreed on any one thing so far this year...Karma can be a wonderful thing. Thank you Little Thai Kitchen for bringing out good feelings in us. The rest of our journey was very pleasant. Tomorrow is another day of course. read more

I've been here only once but I like it. I had a chicken curry soup with fried rice. I came with two friends and they loved what they Had. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is very small but cozy. I think the prices are very good for the area. I also recommend the Tom Kar soup and the garlic chicken. read more

Came here with a few people late in a Sunday. I had the Laksa because of love Laksa and it's pretty unusual (to me) for it to be at a Thai restaurant. It's was a recommended dish and I got it with shrimp for $11. Others had the pineapple fried rice and like their meals. My Laksa was way too thick, like a curry dish. It was exactly like a curry dish just a huge bowl of it and not at all like the soup it should be. I would give it 3 stars but the others enjoyed their and they did put quite a few shrimp in mine. read more

We showed up at the tail end of dinner service but were catered to beautifully. The Tom Kar to start with some spring rolls, the is made authentically with galangal. Tangy, rich, flavorful but light, this soup was the best I've had outside of NYC (it may even be better). Basil Chicken was well balanced and the vegetables were fresh and perfectly cooked. The classic Massaman was also delicious - creamy, slight spice, with layers of flavor from the basil, peanut, onions and chicken. Second visit included the Duck Ga Prow - big portion with an incredibly deep buttery texture which was cut nicely by the sautéed pepper and heat from chilies. Pra Raam Chicken followed as the only miss I've experienced here. The peanut sauce was too salty and had a sticky goop property to it that just didn't feel good eating. Order any mix of the spring rolls, crispy tofu, minced chicken and sweet chili wings to start. read more

After Christmas shopping, we were famished and looking for something different. Thank you fellow Yelpers for recommending this spot. Casual, quick, hot and delicious! We started out with Tom Yum soup, then shrimp pad Thai, crispy duck, basil beef and Masssan curry. Wow!!! This place does not disappoint! What a wonderful treat. My aunt says this is some of the best basil beef she has ever tasted! What a lovely Christmas surprise to find a great new Thai spot. Additionally, the wait staff is relaxed and helpful. I got the basil fried rice, spring rolls, and soup. The spring rolls tasted frozen and low quality. The basil fried rice lacked flavor. For a restaurant that has a zagat it was VERY disappointed. This is coming from someone who lived in a city with many thai people and restaurants. This was NOT good at all. The soup just tasted like funky coconut milk the flavor was off. Don't believe the hype. Maybe this is one of few thai places in this area cuz it definitely does not deserve the rating it has. read more

10/10 !! I hardly ever write reviews but wow I am so happily impressed with this ! I ordered on Uber eats and the flavor blew us away!! So flavorful, so fresh tasting, and such great portion size ! Ordered the Shaking Beef (AMAZING SO PERFECTLY TENDER), Broccoli beef, and fried pork dumplings! You know how some places that do the thin beef and it just is chewy and flavorless ? Not this place ! Probably the best broccoli beef I've ever tried from take out honestly ! Super happy, super satisfied, and being a foodie this just got my taste buds going ! Yum! read more

I only got a lunch special of ginger chicken with broccoli. The rice was perfectly cooked and chicken tender - good quality. Sauce actually had a perfectly strong flavor of ginger! The lady working there was so nice- even saw me coming back from the lot and ran out with my takeout bag. I don't return to many, if any, Chinese restaurants, but I will give this one a try for dining in since it is so nice inside!

We went on a weekday, so not as busy. Service was friendly and fast. Food came out pretty quickly and got drink refills when needed.

For my meal, I ordered a few small dishes (in true izakaya style) and I loved them all. The truffle yellowtail and toro tartar were also great. My friends both ordered hot dishes: yaki udon and ramen with pork. They were also both very happy with their meal. I tried some of the yaki udon and I thought it was super flavorful (and I'm not a big noodle gal)! The waiter brought over shots of saki on the house, which was really nice. I didn't have any since I don't drink, but my friends said it was fruity and enjoyable. We had a lovely time here overall. Cozy vibes. Great food. Friendly staff. I think my only gripe (which is super tiny) is that this doesn't resemble an izakaya well. I think they would have been better off calling it Oishi Sushi or Oishi Japanese Restaurant. The "small plates" part of the menu was small and pretty standard. I expect a lot more variety and interesting dishes at a true izakaya. But overall, really happy with my experience here!
