The food is DELICIOUS! The service is great. I felt like my aunties were taking care of me. The place is little and I agree with the spartan comment made by another reviewer. It is clean and cozy, just not a place you would get dressed up for a fancy dinner. The food is so good, that you could get dressed, order take out, and eat your fancy dinner at home or in the park. read more

Surprisingly great. We loved the fried Okra and the duck salad was wonderful, crispy duck! Great portion sizes, we took a lot of food home., you can share. The Pad See-Ew had great amount of chicken. We took home the mango sticky rice, so excited to have some. Moreover our server was very sweet. It's a small place, but worth the visit. read more

Ordered takeout and was highly efficient with the ordering and pick up process. We ordered a family style selection of a few options including Pad Thai with Chicken, Vegetable Green Curry and the Duck Railroad Fried Rice. All wonderful. Finally, wrapped up with a single order of the Mango Sticky Rice, as a palette cleanser. read more

We visited Little Buddy for the second time and wow, still great as it was the first time around. It's a nice little cozy spot in Stamford with great tasty Thai food, great prices and superb service. We had the steamed chicken dumplings which were absolutely delicious. It's small inside but nice and clean with Asian decor. There's limited amount of space so it can be noisy depending on who's sitting next to you. However we definitely recommend checking out Little Budda. read more

I love getting the duck noodle soup and their Thai eggplant basil dish. Quick service and clean store

My favorite Thai restaurant in Stamford and our go-to for many years. The thing that sets Little Buddha apart from other Thai restaurants in the area, is that they actually make spicy Thai food. Most places we've found in the area only make "Connecticut-spicy" but Little Buddha brings the heat if you ask them to make it hot. I'm partial to their curries and drunken noodles, but I've tried at least 20 items on their menu and haven't been disappointed yet. read more

Little Buddha is our go-to Thai restaurant. We've eaten inside a few times but mainly enjoy delivery from them. We've never had an issue with Little Buddha. The order is always correct and the food arrives quickly and hot each time. We have been regular costumers for quite a few years now and this is something Little Buddha should be so proud of- correct orders every single time! The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious! Never have we gotten a questionable piece of meat (like we often find when eating at our local Chinese restaurant) or an off putting flavor. The quality is great! The spice levels aren't consistent but that's not a real issue for us, personally. What this means is that if my fiancé orders hot drunken noodles, he may get way more spice than he did the last time he ordered the meal. The spice is always there but could be hotter other times. If you don't like spicy, always aim for mild because the hot is...well, it's HOT (which isn't a problem in our household. Bring on the heat)! I highly recommend their Tom Kar soup (preferably with chicken), drunken noodle, Pad Thai, massaman curry, potato curry puffs, Tao Hoo Tod, chicken satay, and their Thai iced tea (these are always our go-to menu items). read more

Im from out of state, but I've ordered from little buddha a few times now when ive been in town! Last night a friend and I both ordered pad see ew for dinner. We were hoping for delivery, but the time was quoted about an hour, so we opted to just pick it up- in which the food would be ready 20 minutes after we ordered. I'm happy we did this- the food was hot and ready when we arrived! The food itself was DELICIOUS. Flavors were on point, and the noodles were cooked wonderfully. I added shrimp to my meal and my friend added tofu. Both were very tasty. All in all, it was a GREAT dinner and I will return again in the future! read more

For what this place is, it is excellent. Great food and great price. It is a take out place with tables for those who wish to eat within. The restaurant part is spartan, to be nice. But the food is top notch. Best to take out and eat at home. Table and chairs are available if you prefer. read more

Great food and good portions! I always crave Thai food when I'm sick or not feeling well, and this always does the trick. Seating area is pretty limited but it's a great take out place with reasonable prices. read more

I ordered Hakka Noddles but unfortunately it was not good. First of all it was not Hakka noodles and it was like lo mien and taste was awful. Chicken was under cooked. I have only ordered takeout from Little Buddha and it will likely stay that way, given how tiny the restaurant is and how close in proximity the tables are to the greasy-smelling kitchen. Although I have had much better and more authentic Thai food, their food is above Stamford standards and hence the reason why I continue to order from here when stuck in this city. I usually go for the Thai boat beef noodle soup, a rather pricey option for its ingredients, but it is one of the better noodle soups I've had in Stamford. I do like the fact that they are generous with the beef. I've also tried the roti canai and papaya salad, which were mediocre, but satisfies ones cravings. The same can be said about the pad thai, pad see-ew, drunken noodles and the shrimp laksa noodle soup. If you are looking for some authentic Thai food, don't order from here. If you are from Stamford and not picky about the authenticity of food, then try Little Buddha. read more

Went here for dinner after whopping across the street and it was the best choice. This place is small but cozy. We ordered the chicken satay, steamed dumplings, and lemongrass shrimp to start and it was phenomenal. All were so tasty especially the shrimp that had lots of veggies to pick on. After, we had some fried rice and it was a great portion. So much flavor, vegetables were fresh, and the service was great. Can't wait to come back! read more

Excellent little spot for delicious Thai food. We started with the pan-fried pork dumplings, outstanding. The had the chicken pad see-ew which was delicious. The beef pad garlic was tasty, but the raw onions stayed with me much longer than I'd have liked. Will be back to try more. read more

Very tiny place with few tables, one of the smallest place I have been, there are tables even on way to bathroom and serving station. We stoped for lunch, Tum Yum Soup was the only deserves to rate, the curry serve with Roti Canai was terrible taste. The Beef Basil was also -0 ( I left whole dish after few bites, Veg Pad Thai was even worst. Nothing is good here honestly. Not comfortable dining nor the food. I will not be going back! read more

We really loved Little Buddha! After trying several Thai restaurants in the area, we settled on Little Buddha as our favorite. However, we had a customer service experience that might cause us to break up with them. Their online ordering is solid, but sometimes you can order for delivery ASAP and other times you have to schedule it. Usually, not a big deal. We ordered ahead of time for a scheduled delivery as we have many times before. Our scheduled time came and went and we waited and waited and waited. After 30 minutes, we called and we were informed that their online "schedule order" is not accurate. They don't begin to look at online orders until 5 pm. This isn't posted clearly on their website and there is no way to track the progress of your order. The person on the phone wasn't kind in their explanation and instead told us it was our fault and we shouldn't order that way. About 40 minutes after the "scheduled" time, our order arrived. The delivery driver was gruff and muttered something under his breath upon drop off. Even if the online ordering caveats were clearly posted on the website, there is a gentler way to handle customers. Little Buddha, your food is great. The peanut sauce is delicious and I think if ordering from this place more than I'd like to admit. However, you customer service and communication need some work. read more

Was hungry so we decided to give this place a try (for take-out). When we first opened the door, we noticed there was this smell that smelt like an old asian supermarket. Looked up at some reviews and everyone raved about the fried okra, so we decided to order that, the ginger fish and a beef noodle. After we placed in the order, we noticed that they were doing a special about ordering an entree and you could get an app (the fried okras) for $2. On the fine print of this sign, it says it must be mentioned upon ordering. First of all, not sure what kind of special promotion this is, when they have signs everywhere about this $2 promotion, yet when we were talking about this, the waitress didn't say anything or adjusted our bill. The fried okras were definitely good, but everything else were so GREASY and tasteless - can't say this was authentic, we were definitely disappointed. read more

My family and I love the food from Little Buddha. My favorite is the Nasi Goreng dish, a savory/sweet fried rice dish with an egg on top. Sooo good. What's funny is that I almost never eat just fried rice from anywhere. But Little Buddha brings it up a notch and I devour it. The kids love the Thai ice tea, the dumplings or potato curry puff. They do a good pad Thai, but for something different, get the Hakka noodles! Hubby likes the crispy chicken, which is their version of General Tao's chicken but with thinner strips of chicken and finely chopped chilies. And you have to try the mango sticky rice for dessert. Yum! read more

Awesome Thai food!!!! Very authentic and reasonably priced. Love the papaya salad and Tom yum soup and coconut mango sweet rice!

Little Buddha is a small restaurant. Authentic in the sense there's a Thai waiter and in the background I hear Thai movies or tv. With 9 small tables it could be somewhere in Bangkok, I've been to places like this. I ordered chicken satay and shrimp Tom yum soup. The first was not more than 3 chunks of grilled chicken with some curry inside. I had to ask the waiter to add cucumber to the vinegar condiment. Was he thinking I wouldn't notice? This satay is not to be recommended: too chunky, way too dry. And even when the waiter said "tell me next time so I can take it off?" Seriously? I complain about it and you still let me pay for it? Tom Yum soup scored higher. It wasn't the best soup I've ever had, definitely had better in both USA and Thailand. So I will not return, which is a shame because this place could have a lot of potential. Next! read more

I'd call this place, Stamford's hidden gem! Prices are AMAZING for SO MUCH FOOD. I've been coming here since I've moved here a year ago because my boyfriend & his friend showed me this place! The Thai food is the best I've had in America. I can honestly say it's AUTHENTIC because I just got back from Thailand 2 weeks ago! The Pad Thai was my favorite dish.. UNTIL TODAY! I tried the Pay See-Ew steamed tofu & veggies. My boyfriend usually gets the railroad fried rice which never fails! They give you so many veggies & so you feel just a little bit better & not like you're cheating when you're on a diet LOL! Their Mango Coconut Sticky Rice is so yummy & I love to have a Thai Iced coffee with it for dessert. Like I said, this place is authentic Thai food! You will get exactly this when you go to Thailand! Try it out! read more

Absolutely best Thai food in stamford !! Food is Fresh, and not greasy. Customer service is top notch always. I'm here at least once a week for take out!! The restaurant is small so if you choose to eat in, there isn't much room.. I don't recommend to bring a big group of friends to eat. read more

Good authentic Thai foods and great for lunch or dinner including delivery!!! I usually order for delivery and very fast delivery!!

Little buddha is definitely not at the top of my list of thai places to go to.. I only suggest take-out if you choose to get food from here. The food was pretty good, but the experience was soured by the customer service experience here (rather lack thereof). The waitress was impatient and not welcoming - more of a "what do you want to eat" attitude. We ordered the manchurian cauliflower, thai iced tea, thai iced coffee, chicken pad thai and drunken noodles (with chicken, spicy) for a total of $40.25. We were not provided with utensils/chop sticks or napkins, all of which I obtained on my own and ignored throughout our meal. Even as we are ready to pay for this experience, I have plenty of time to mellow in my thoughts and crank out this review. The food was good, but I would never come here again. I thought that the waitress was rude just to us, but after seeing an interaction with other patrons, this sort of behavior was consistent (denial of sitting at a table the couple would be more comfortable). read more

Little Buddha is packed with a lot of flavor! This restaurant is about the size of a Chinese takeout spot minus the bullet proof window or rail. This place may be small but they've managed to decorate it so it doesn't feel like you're dining at a takeout. They have a pretty extensive menu considering the size of this restaurant. They have a dedicated veggie section that is made without animal products (win). We ordered the spicy okra, green veggies stir fry and the railroad fried brown rice (vegan-style). Everything was delicious! Don't let the size of this place fool you. It may be small but their dishes surely make up for it. read more

I really enjoy the food here - the appetizers (veggie spring rolls and Tom Yummy Soup), entree - chicken pad thai or drunken noodles with chicken (spicy enough) - are all very good. Not too spicy and not too wimpy - I'm not one for spice :-). Good spot to grab take-out. Only draw back I've experienced sometimes they are busy and they don't pick up the phone quick enough for me! read more

The food here is great, I find the portions and prices to be reasonable and the meals are as good as I have had. We tried the chicken fried rice, and I believe the chilli chicken ( was nice and spicy ). Fully enjoyed the meals, service was excellent. We ordered online when we were about 10 minutes from the hotel. Best idea ever. It arrived about five minutes after we did, and it was so, so good. What made it even better was when you order online, you got a 10% discount. We both ordered beef pad kee-mao which was delicious & the portions were huge. We had started with the potato puff curry. The potato puffs were good, but the dipping sauce took them over the top. This place is definitely worth a try if you're in the Stamford area. read more
