One of my favorite sushi restaurants. The sushi is delicious and I love the signature rolls. It's also a great place for families.

Takeout is not what it used to be. Last few orders were disappointing - flavorless chicken katsu and stir-fried rice, unripe mango in mango tango rolls and to top it off: unagi rolls filled with bits of fat to the point of being inedible. Oh well, it was good while it lasted. Moving on. read more

Beautiful Gorgeous Ambiance - the light wood tables and chairs with the wooden light fixtures above is so uplifting! We had a very attentive, corteous waitress - who helped me out when I couldn't find the Bento box section on the menu - the sushi was incredibly fresh! Loved my Salad which was also very fresh! I ordered a Salmon bento box- It hit the spot for me since I was very hungry - The salmon was a bit on the dry side but edible and everything in the box was delicious especially the shumai. Solid Japanese/Chinese restaurant in Old Greenwich, CT. Lunch: They were empty around 11am when we walked in and then they quickly picked up around lunch. Lunch specials included bento boxes with rice, or sushi specials. Miso soup was solid, and the ginger salad dressing on cool, crisp lettuce was a good salad, not too gingery and not too sour. The bento box itself - chicken teriyaki had a thin crisp crust, and the shumai were also fried. The bento box included a California roll and rice. The lunch rice/noodle dishes included a miso soup - the beef lo mein was good, not too salty, a little oily, what you'd expect out of lo mein. The beef chow fun was too burnt on the meat and rice noodles, so we asked them to fix and they kindly brought out a whole new, better cooked dish, so appreciate the customer service there. Not too oily and definitely good mix of noodles, beef, and bean sprouts. Bubble tea was made with a black tea with milk, not too sweet, and not the chewy black sugary balls, but the bubble were hard little jelly balls. We actually came back for dinner, too, they remembered us - the dinner lo mein was just the same as lunch, a bit bigger. The sesame chicken was a sweet & sour chicken that was good, although could have used a bit more crunch. An eel and avocado roll was a tasty add. The the two momofuko pork buns were the only bit of disappointment; not fall-apart-in-your-mouth, but rather over-sauced and too lean pork though I liked the pickles. We'll likely be back, it's a nice spot in the strip mall and packed a lot for dinner - lots of sushi options that people around us were having. read more

Reliable delivery and charming wait staff if you choose to eat in. The soups are top of the line and extremely tasty. My cooked salmon was a little dry but I will go back again. My friend brought a platter of their fish sushi to our last dinner party and it was so convenient. She works from home, they delivered it to her in time for her to bring it over. We placed an order for delivery at 7:09pm. At 8:00 we called and asked if the order had left yet because we were willing to come pick it up. They told us it'd be leaving within the next few minutes. At 8:25 we called back and they said the driver was 5 minutes away. At 8:35 we called back and they said he was 2 minutes away. At 8:47 we called back and they said they couldn't get in contact with the driver. They offered us two free sodas the next time we ordered. We had now waited almost 2 hours for our food and asked for a refund, to which they responded that they cannot offer a refund because the delivery service were the ones that process the order so we'd have to call them ... we then called back and they said they could in fact refund us. So I'm not sure why they lied to us every time we called them. I will never order from them again. If they had offered the refund the first time around and had been honest about the location of the driver I'd have given them another chance as we've been ordering from them (pick up) for 5 years but the dishonesty is not something we'll overlook. read more

Food is great. The service usually is good as we are regulars at this place but last visit had some new server that wouldn't listen to us was very rude and clearly forgot our order. Asked for water 3 times and she didn't bring and eventually had to ask a different server for water. She also was intentionally trying to ignore us. After this experience we decided we'll tip accordingly but she had the audacity to come to our.table and show us the bill to say why is the tip so low.
