The price is great for the portions and compared to other poke establishments. The people who work there are always so nice and very helpful and accommodating. I can not say enough about this place. The food was incredibly fresh with a lot of amazing options. They had a lot of different things that I would never think to put on my salad. The owner Jamie explained everything that he was doing step by step and offered his advice. They have so many options. I personally don't like anything spicy but they have something for everyone. I was hesitant because I know how important it is to get a high-level grade of fresh sushi fish and I really wasn't sure if this place could deliver. I was wrong! The fish was above the grade that I've had in my sushi and the fish and all of the ingredients were extremely fresh. We were also surprised at the quantity of food which was more than filling for a man and the bowl was absolutely delicious! The service was also excellent. For being a new place that hasn't even been open a week, the staff was exceptional. Even though I've had poke bowls before, I really appreciated that one of their staff members took the time to guide me through the process of choosing my proteins, mix ins, toppings, and sauces, while even throwing in her personal recommendations. Because she took some extra time out of her day to make me not feel rushed, I ended up having one of the best poke bowls I've ever had because it was actually full of the ingredients I enjoy! I just don't like this place. Not only because of the food, but mostly the service. I walked into the place, after getting off exit 4 looking for a quick bite to eat. The people working their looked like they just didn't want to work their. The server behind the counter gave me attitude after asking for extra tuna. I really like the idea behind it, but very poorly run. I got a tuna bowl with their og sauce and the server put way to much sauce without asking me when he should stop. The prices are also definitely high. The bowl was barely filling and cost me the same amount of a chipotle bowl. The food looked pretty fresh but their was also a black hair in the cucumbers. My 12 year old son also got a cup of their special soft serve, and he seemed to like it, but it seemed a bit clumpy. I thought it was supposed to be soft serve, but it looked like the machine hadn't been used in 2 years. We obviously got the first cup in a long time, cause their were clumps of old mango soft serve at the bottom. I truly don't like this place and would just not go, in my opinion. Your better off just going nextdoor and getting smoothie or acai bowl. Lmk what you guys think, but never going back their. read more
