This was my go-to spot for inexpensive but relatively decent Chinese food, but sadly, I can no longer order from them. The last two times I ordered from them through grub hub, I got notifications that the food was on its way. Both times I was left waiting for over an hour, and finally called to see what's up. And both times the person who answered the phone took my info and said a manager would call me back. No manager called back and when I called to follow up, they wouldn't pick up the phone. Okay, I am a New Yorker so I'm very picky about my Chinese food. I really enjoy their shrimp with broccoli because the broccoli and shrimp are always fresh. I also enjoy their Chinese Donuts because it satisfies my funnel cake cravings. They are also very nice so that is a plus. read more

I was passing through & was staying at a nearby hotel & decided to pick up some Chinese food. I drove over & was able to park right along the street in the front of restaurant. It was 30 minutes until closing & so most of the workers were wrapping things up. They were very friendly & kind in greeting me & quickly took my order. I decided on the Moo Goo Gai Pan Combo with Pork Fried Rice & an Egg RollI. I also decided on a small Chicken Lo Mein. I really liked the Moo Goo Gai Pan & the Chicken Lo Mein. Both were cooked traditionally. The MGGP has the light white garlic sauce, mushrooms, pea pods, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts. It was very good. The Chicken Lo Mein was hot, fresh with chicken, scallions, celery & onion & just the right amount of sesame oil & garlic. The pork fried rice was good but not my personal favorite. It looked like it might have saffron in the rice bc of the yellow hue. There were ample amounts of bbq pork in the rice & onion. No peas, carrots or onions so not the standard preparation. The Egg Roll was fine but it didn't have a lot of pork in it. Mainly just stuffed cabbage. It was fine but I would've preferred more proportional ingredients. The dough was slightly chewy & crispy which was good. The interior is pretty standard for American Chinese restaurant. It was pretty sparse. There are 4/5 Formica tables in the restaurant & a sofa. It was decorated with assorted Chinese photos & memorabilia. One wall was covered in shelving with stacks of cases of sodas, teas for the 2 fridges. it was a Very informal atmosphere & decor. It was a bit cool in the restaurant for my liking although it was the end of the night. Plus, I am sure it gets pretty hot in the kitchen with all those woks on the gas cooktops. Overall everything was solidly good. The veggies were good quality & fresh. The food was prepared to order, quickly & was fresh & hot. This place serves good quality American Chinese food. If I lived in the area, I would definitely make this one of my "Go to" Chinese Take Out or Delivery. ENJOY! read more

I ordered steamed dumplings and beef mei fun to take away. The noodles were pretty good and good quantity. But the dumplings were the worst dumplings I have ever eaten! I'm sure if I go back I'm not going to order that!!! They were super thick and I really don't know how to descrive it... just really disappointed in that. I order from Hong Kong multiple times in the past 2 years and always have order their shrimp toast and combo plates. But last night order was just not good. I order the shrimp toast like always which use to be one of the best. But last night it had doubled the bread like a sandwich which is something new. But the was fine inside was just a mushy paste it was bad I had to throw both orders in garbage . I also order beef and broccoli combo it had no taste same with the rice . I ordered the house special soup and the half general tso and jumbo shrimp meal. The house special soup was a bit too salty, but the half chicken and half shrimp meal was delicious. The women in the front is really nice. She was pretty patient with me as I took the longest time trying to figure out what to order. I have honestly never had a problem with this place, it's kinda my "go to" when I want some Chinese food delivered to my door. I usually go for the general chicken with lo mein. I wouldn't call it express, but it never takes more than 30 min to get here. The food always tastes good, and I would say it's an adequate portion. I've been coming here for many many years. I guess the owners have changed recently or something because the food tastes completely different. In a bad way. One huge factor is the egg rolls don't even taste like an eggroll... I couldn't eat it. And that's weird for me cause I love egg rolls. On top of that I guess u can say everything is edible but its definitely not worth the effort of walking down the street for it. My wife and I have decided to explore for a new place to get Chinese. Probably the worst food ordering experience I've ever had. Terrible food, terrible service, terribly rude staff. I ordered Mongolian Chicken and received a container full of grilled onions and literally 4 small pieces of chicken. When I called to get the order fixed the woman who claimed she was the manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. She went as far as to laugh in my face at my complaint. This place is great for good, reasonably priced Chinese food in Stamford. Upon moving here about a year ago I've tried lots of places and this has become my favorite. I've yet to have a bad meal, delivery time is always within reason, and prices are lower than many places downtown. Definitely would recommend! read more
