The price is right here but not my food. I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein Combination Dinner at an attractive price of $9.50. It came with an Egg Roll and a side of Pork Fried Rice. The problem was the Chow Mein didn't include any noodles. Chow Mein literally translates to Stir Fried Noodles so I'm not sure what got lost in translation but I can't get past that error. What I did get however was served piping hot and tasted OK hence the two stars rather than one for serving a Noodle dish with no Noodles. I would not return. read more

We ordered a few times already and so far the only thing I did not like was my mushoo pork (spellling?), it was very good in flavor but the sauce was a bit too watery. I was told to try this place, omg awful. Everything was so mushy and flavorless. Fried Dumplings were doughy, chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce was a weird red color and didn't taste like garlic at all. The cook was handeling cash at the prep table and had cash on the cutting board while not wearing a mask and grabbed vegetables without gloves to throw in a stew. It was gross to say the least. This place came decently reviewed and with hours that fit our timeline for heading back to Maine. They were open till 11pm on a Thursday, super helpful. We got two General Tso combos, which entailed a generous portion of tasty chicken with a side of pork fried rice and a egg roll. Based off of a Yelp reviewer's recommendation, I also ordered some Singaporean spring rolls. It may have been the long day on the road, but I swore when I first took a bite. They were delicious. We have placed an order once and probably never again. We got a tofu entree and large broccoli garlic. My husband who tried both was sick for 2 days. I only tried broccoli and I was fine, so it had to be the tofu. He has felt nauseous for two days. The only extra star I give is for a friendly service. read more

A little skeptical of the previous reviews... I mean, all that ranting and raving is a little good to be true for a place like this... Let me say first: I LOVE cheap crap Chinese food. I can't wait for the opportunity to dig into a six-dollar vat of fried rice, batter-fried chicken, and gooey sauce, made with about four pounds of salt. Such an experience is truly addicting to me; it's one of those types of food I find hard to stop eating... But no such emotions arise at Peking. I am not exaggerating when I say: I never met a cheap Chinese place I didn't like... UNTIL I went to Peking. I actually used to go here often because it was the closest cheap Chinese place... then I slowly started realizing how bad it was... The fried rice tastes burnt to me, and not in a "pleasantly smoky" way, the wonton soup is watery and flavorless, and the meats can be hard to get through without, say, a set of ice sculptor's tools to aide you. Particularly the boneless spareribs, which don't come with that beautiful red sugary sauce! I started going to China Column down the street, and again realized how good cheap Chinese can be. If they're still in business, I highly recommend them instead. Same price, better food. read more

Keep in mind that this is a take-out/delivery Chinese restaurant so I didn't expect the high-quality of the food. Every selection we've tried over the past 4 years has been amazing. They do delivery within 30 mins and allow you to pay with a credit card. My only suggestion is that you make sure you review the order with them when you make it since language problems are a slight problem. And don't forget to ask for the 2 free drinks if your order totals more than $20! The quantity of food is also amazing! We always get at least 2 meals out of our orders! read more

Peking is so underrated! I've tried many different spots through out the years and I come back here every time. They're super fresh, cook the veggies al dente, and have great flavor! They're super friendly but are always on the go, their phones ring off the hook. They are well priced for the quality, but it's best for take out. read more

I can't compare to anything else in the immediate area, as we stopped in en route home from New England (after stopping at the AWESOME Stamford Target) and this was pretty much the only place open nearby late at night (like 10something PM on a Sunday) (thank you, Yelp!).
