D1. Duck Choo Chee Dish

Overall a solid spot for Thai! Gorgeous dining area with quick service. I thought the spicy lo mein dish was unique - I've never noticed it on other Thai menus. It was like drunken noodles but with lo mein, and had a great flavor. My fiancé loved the green curry and duck choo chee. I would definitely visit again for delicious Thai food in Darien!

R3. Basil Fried Rice

We had lunch here and it was delicious! The coconut soup was amazing. It was quiet bc it was a Sunday lunch. But staff was very friendly. We got pad see ew and basil fried rice. All was amazing!

We tried out Thai Time in Darien in Good Wives Plaza. Not busy at 5:45pm (we were the only ones) - very friendly wait staff; extremely attentive and cordial. Super clean and tidy. We tried the Chili Wings and the Tom Yum shrimp soup - each was delicious. For entrees - cashew nut chicken and drunken lo mein with chicken. The Drunken lo mein was great and nice and spicy the way I like it. The cashew nut chicken - this was the second time we tried it - the first time was better. This night it was too salt but still pretty good! Thai Time is a solid spot and it was quiet enough to hold hands and chat. It did pick up after 6:30pm and was packed solid - I recommend getting in early. Thumbs up from me for Thai Time!

We got take out for the office pear the pictures below and it was ok. The lunch special includes a side but be careful not to get a cold side (like salad) because it's packed together w your entree. The pad Thai was okay the shumai was super fresh and yum. The drunken noodle was jam packed w nice fresh veggies and meat but was not spicy at all. They take credit card Parking is ample as it's in a plaza

Stumbled upon this place when I was craving Thai food.. didn't have much expectations since it's new with not much reviews. But I was glad I took the chance. Had the Tom ka gai- chicken coconut soup, it was good and tasty however can use a little more lime. Then I had the chicken laab- minced chicken salad, portion was a little small than what I'm used to however the flavor was there. It was medium spice and I had it with a small side of jasmine rice. It was perfect for me.. service was prompt and friendly. I've had better Thai food hence the 4 stars, but this place is worth a try.

Best takeout Thai in the area. Curry puffs, crab rangoons, and curry fried rice are not to be missed!

I ordered two miso ramen with a load of add-ons to go following the epic snowstorm... it was positively delicious. Broth was balanced, savory and had the perfect aspect of heat... pork belly was cooked to perfection and I love how they prepare the perfect tamago (egg). A special treat is the saki flight-- Hayro is very well versed in his tasting note knowledge and origins of the featured sakis and was ultra kind, consistent with his execution of dynamic cocktails behind the bar. Love the ambiance, music is always on point and the bar set-up is ultra inviting... I prefer that over sitting in a booth. Rafael, the manager, was ultra attentive and very gracious towards me as a waiting patron... he even surprised me with a little KFC Bao which was absolutely magical with the sauces provided! Professionalism 10.0 and so endearing! I would recommend double checking your to go orders, especially if the order is a bit complex or heavy on the add-on factor (my cabbage was left out but I believe it was substituted for a larger order of greens)... but Betsy was polite and patient amidst me being a picky foodie in my ordering process! I can't thank this team enough for consistently delicious food and noteworthy customer service... it is ultra popular for a reason! *Posted while currently waiting on yet another to go order-- thank you, Mecha!*

I threw an order in for delivery through Uber Eats while I jumped in the shower. Took 30 minutes to arrive, the food was piping hot and presented beautifully, despite the foil and plastic containers. Overall delicious. The Saigon egg rolls are served with a Vietnamese dipping sauce fresh mint and lettuce wraps, and they were light and crispy and all the flavors together incredible. The KFC bao bun was a little on the dry side, but had a satisfying gochujang glaze with crunchy pickled veggies nestled in a soft pillowy bun. Kimchi fried rice was bursting with flavors and the creamy yolk from the fried egg added a velvety richness. There was a nice presence of bacon, fried shallots and scallion. Overall perfect. Excited to try the Ramen and Pho sometime!

A great little sushi spot right on the main drag in SONO!…read more I'm always craving sushi (literally always) so when visiting Norwalk, I picked a place within walking distance from our hotel and we gave Oishi a shot. I'm so glad we ended up here because the ambiance was great, the staff was super friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious! We were seated immediately on a Saturday night (which was fantastic because everywhere else was packed). We ordered some appetizers, which were great. The calamari was very crispy. For my meal, I ordered a few small dishes (in true izakaya style) and I loved them all. I'd never seen a tofu skin sushi roll in any of the Japanese restaurants I've been to, so I was excited to try that. It lived up to the expectation. Absolutely delicious. The truffle yellowtail and toro tartar were also great. My friends both ordered hot dishes: yaki udon and ramen with pork. They were also both very happy with their meal. I tried some of the yaki udon and I thought it was super flavorful (and I'm not a big noodle gal)! The waiter brought over shots of saki on the house, which was really nice. I didn't have any since I don't drink, but my friends said it was fruity and enjoyable. We had a lovely time here overall. Cozy vibes. Great food. Friendly staff. I think my only gripe (which is super tiny) is that this doesn't resemble an izakaya well. I think they would have been better off calling it Oishi Sushi or Oishi Japanese Restaurant. The "small plates" part of the menu was small and pretty standard. I expect a lot more variety and interesting dishes at a true izakaya. But overall, really happy with my experience here!

The salads were fresh as well the avocado was perfect complementing the other veggies so extraordinary.
