Rare beef pho with all the fixins!
Lesley B.

Tis the season of bone chilling cold weather, which I love don't get me wrong! It's also my season of Pho! Lucky for me Little Saigon is right down the street from where I work. So I placed an order for TWO small rare beef pho and an order of fresh pork spring rolls. Sorry, I forgot a pic of the spring rolls. I was busy noshing those while preparing my bowl of delicious goodness at home. My ONLY complaint is they never put sauces in the bag. Hoisin, or chili paste, they did remember chopsticks this time. I do keep hoisin at home but I would've like to have had a little more heat. I will keep a bottle of paste at home now as well The broth from this place is awesome. Everything else in that bowl is just an accompaniment. It's all about the broth. Good lawd I bought two soups. One I had last night and the second I'll have tonight. Did you think I was sharing?! I've never actually dined in this place so I can't attest to anything else. Great friendly service and the Pho! THE PHO! Let it Pho Let it Pho let it Pho

Summer tofu roll, basil fried rice
Apex S.

We got takeout one night during our trip to Maine. Not many places were open at 8 pm and wanting some vegetarian fare, we ended up zeroing in on Little Saigon. We ordered the summer tofu roll and the basil fried rice over the phone. It didn't look like there was any way to order online. The summer roll was good especially (and only) with the peanut dipping sauce. The veggies were fresh but the tofu was dried out. The sauce was flavorful. The fried rice was disappointing because it had no flavor. It lacked salt and any seasoning and since we were eating in a hotel room, we couldn't add anything. I'd still say, this is a good choice if you're looking for an 8 pm eat.

Very comfortable and clean atmosphere

The food was amazing. You could tell they took the time to cook everything so all the flavors would meld together.

This restaurant unlawfully charges a credit card fee, which is prohibited in Maine. After dining there, we feel extremely thirsty. I'm not sure what they put in the soup, but it seems to make people incredibly thirsty.

My wife had the chicken pho. Unfortunately, the broth was thin and laced with copious amounts of MSG which made my head hurt and tongue swell. The pork chop rice combo was gigantic, the pork chop succulent and well caramelized with flavor, fresh vegetables and plenty of jasmine rice. Owner server was friendly and very attentive. They packed my leftovers in a nice box for a 2nd lunch later.

This is one of the best Vietnamese places I've ever been to and trust me, there are authentic and great places in Connecticut but this restaurant hold its own! Wonderful staff, nice, homey ambiance and prompt service. And the food.... 5 stars!! From the grilled shrimp, grilled calamari, meatballs and papaya salad appetizer .. phenomenal! Enjoyed the egg noodle soup, had so much meat and wonton, I couldn't finish it and my friend enjoyed his bun noodle bowl and loved it. I can't wait to go back to this place.

We shared an order of pork and shrimp egg rolls that were very good. For entrees each of us chose small bowls of vegetable pho that included tofu, baby corn, broccoli, bok choy and carrot in a delicious vegatable broth. The accompanying bean sprouts, Thai basil and lime were so fresh, as were all the ingredients this night, one might think they might have been harvested earlier in the day.

My partner ordered the vegetable pho, and I went with the pork wonton soup. We also shared an order of pan-fried dumplings. Everything was comforting and flavorful, and the portions were impressively generous. Even the "small" pho was anything but small, and the wonton soup -- listed as an appetizer -- easily ate like a full bowl on its own. We both ended up with leftovers, especially her. The dumplings were nicely pan-fried with a good balance of crispness and filling, and paired well with the soups. This is the kind of place where you leave full and happy. Service was warm and welcoming -- the owner/server was very sweet, friendly, and helpful, which made the stop feel relaxed and personal rather than rushed. A solid, satisfying spot for a casual meal, especially if you're hungry or planning on leftovers.

The rest of it was just handfuls of the same stuff, and only partially cooked. I dont what these other people who left reviews eat, but ive been to jail and the food is better there.
