Rare steak, brisket, and meatball phó
    Justin L.

4.5 stars rounded up! The service was ok. The lady who does the seating is also the waitress. Not terrible but a little lacking. The inside had tables and chairs. Was very basic. Don't let this place fool you. The food was excellent. I got a large bowl of brisket, rare steak, and meatball phó. The broth was fresh, clean, and just right. The co worker I came with got some shrimp summer rolls. He enjoyed those. This place had fresh veggies for the phó and chili oil when asked for it. The price matches the quantity of food. I have had pho all over the country. I would highly recommend this location!

Yum! The place feels pretty authentic and the food is scrumptious. I had the vermicelli bowl and thought it was super yummy. The only complaint I had was that the pork was a little dry, but overall flavor was good. The bun bo hue was yummy but spicy! I know that it is typically a spicy dish, but my friend wished there was more lime given to help cool it down if needed. Overall we had a nice experience. The place was busy and they didn't have a lot of staff so service was slow, but I think the food was worth it. Looking forward to returning in the near future :)

My new favorite restaurant! Service is excellent. Beautiful and clean inside. We had the spring rolls, chicken pho and beef pho. Ordered small and still had a ton to take home! Loved it Right next to the Asian Supermarket.

    Chicken fried rice

Took my crew here on Black Friday for lunch. Food was well prepared. We had both the spring and summer rolls. 1 had Pho, 2 had fried rice (1 chicken and 1 house) 2 of us had the Vermicelli salad with pork and shrimp. Everything arrived hot and fresh. This place reminds me a neighborhood hangout. I can absolutely understand why. My only complaints are took awhile to come get our order but fast with our bill, soda's in cans only at $2.50 a piece and little to no mint in the roll and salad which is something I enjoy in my food. I would absolutely come back.

Walked in and was greeted immediately. The inside is fairly small; it only had about 12 tables. I ordered Bun Bo Hue size large which was $15. It took only 10 minutes for my food to come out. It looked very good but was kind of disappointing. The spice level was like a 2. I didn't see chili oil but they had chili sauce, so I added a lot of that. The broth also lacked flavor, I had to add fish sauce. I was also disappointed to see that they did not have tendon or gio heo. I would come back to try other things but I would not get the BBH again.

Ordered to go. Mi Thap Cam. A lot of food in the box. Very delicious. Big shrimp and fresh ingredients. Jalapeños were a good kick

I would have missed out on a good thing had I listened to some of the more negative reviews. The food here is phenomenal and so was the service. The restaurant is no frills but it is clean. So are the restrooms. The food was piping hot and plentiful. The combo rice and the combo noodle... hands down my favorite. Entirely worth the time it took to get here. We will return most definitely

Baton Rouge is fortunate to have a large number of great Vietnamese restaurants to choose from. Little Saigon is one of these great choices. As the name would suggest, it is a cozy little place tucked into a strip-mall at the corner of Sherwood and Florida. The interior is very spare, done in a black and white motif, with artistic black and white pictures of Vietnamese scenes. A very nice space to dine in. The service is always as classy as the interior. The staff are always friendly and efficient. The menu offers all the Vietnamese dishes that Americans have come to love. Big bowls of Pho and other soups, vermicelli bowls with great toppings, rice dishes, and stir fries. There are a variety of drinks, and appetizers to round out your meal. Do you have someone timid in your party? The fried rice is always a great choice, because who doesn't like a great fried rice! Little Saigon is in a great location now, as there are a number of other businesses that have opened near it that you could also enjoy during your visit to the area. One could have dessert at the Baskin Robins next door, or pick up a bubble tea at the new place on the other side. The new Asian Market offers supermarket shopping right across the parking lot. So, you can make your lunch or dinner into more of an outing all in the same shopping center.

The owners sold and the new owners are Chinese. Nonissue but they are changing how the food was and it is maybe average now from excellent. Viet garden down the street is better

Bun bo Hue was tasty, although they could've used the thicker noodles. They have recently updated the menu. If you are real Vietnamese, can you tell me what's wrong with the menu

Little Saigon is always a must visit for me while in Baton Rouge. I always get the #10 with grilled chicken, shrimp fried rice and two egg rolls. It is simply to die for. The chicken has such an incredible smoky flavor. The egg rolls have a phenomenal flavor and nice crunch to them. The best part is really the rice. It's always so fresh tasting. I always look forward to the wonderful customer service which still hasn't lost its touch despite the constraints of COVID-19.

    Nice and clean.

The restaurant is very clean with good music playing, and the staff is always very kind. They have a wide selection of foods, but I always opt for the Vermicelli combo bowl. I hate passing up a deal, so I ordered the egg rolls off of the happy hour menu too. They come three to an order, but my picture only shows two. I was hungry. Make a trip out to Bao. The menus looked like they haven't been cleaned in ages. The walls were splattered with sriracha and hoisin sauce. After placing the order, our waitress came back with utensils. I was still trying to keep a positive mind because I hadn't gotten our food yet. The utensils were filthy. There was some dried up vegetable on the soup soon. They barely gave us any vegetables for the pho. Once our vermicelli noodle dish arrived, I immediately notified a LONG WHITE HAIR. The pho broth was overly sweet and overpowered the richness of the beef. The rare steak was thick cut and tasted too chewy.

The standout for me was the veggie fried rice. It had great flavor, and I'd honestly come back for that alone. The Snake Wrangler drink was also a favorite. The only downside was the hot honey. It was very light on both the wings and the bao bun, so the flavor didn't come through as much as expected. Service was efficient and attentive. Heated in the microwave which was annoying bc I wanted to try these fresh for the first time and also more importantly I ordered them with intentions of eating 2 now and taking the other 3 to go so I could enjoy my queso there. Dumplings can't and shouldn't reheated multiple times over and especially not even once at the restaurant that's serving them.
