Cute parlor/cafe!! It would be nice if all ordering and payment was done at one location. Was a bit confusing to order from here and there and pay elsewhere. Came here for coffee and my husband wanted lunch. Ordered an iced caramel latte, and it tasted like watered down coffee with a hint of caramel flavor. I was very disappointed, and ended up throwing it away then driving to Glen Arbor to get what I wanted. My husband ordered a grilled chicken caesar wrap which tasted good, but nothing was mixed together in the wrap. So every bite just had like one thing- here's a bite of caesar dressing, here's a bite of almond, now some chicken. It would have been much better if it all could have been tasted at once in one bite. We were greeted immediately upon entering, and the cashier/barista was quick. When ordered food the gentleman took a few to take our order and then maybe we had a 5-10 minute wait for a cold wrap. Overall, not a terrible place to eat and it's cute inside.

Interior of little finger. Small and adorable

Fantastic sandwich and pizza option if you're headed to or from Sleeping Bear Dunes!…read more We came across Shipwreck Cafe after stopping for gas next door on the way to Sleeping Bear Dunes. We wanted a kid friendly option and came in for the pizza, but ended up being blown away by the massive sandwich menu! Don't be discouraged by the line - it moves FAST!!!! The young people at the register and in the kitchen are efficient and so nice!!! We arrived about half an hour before the sign says pizzas are ready, and the lovely man at the register said "sure!" when we asked if we could order a pizza. The menu has something for everyone - Including plenty of vegetarian options (I think they even had a vegan option). I loved my Griffon, and the meat eaters in our group enjoyed the SS Noronic (a BLT) and the Fitzgerald. Our kids devoured their cheese pizza! They also carry Great Lakes Co Chips, which are some of the best potato chips we've ever had. Our sandwiches were all so inventive with delicious, fresh ingredients, amazing condiments, and the most freshly baked "pretzel rolls" ever. If this place wasn't a vacation stop for us, we'd be back all the time! Our kiddos favorite part, bedsides the pizza, were the tiny plastic swords that came in our sandwiches holding them together. When they each wanted one more sword, we went back inside and the staff inside was so used to kids asking for more tiny swords that their response to "May we have two more swords?" Was "Sure! What colors?!" Very different from what the response would have been where we're from. :) We even came back later in the day for the frozen custard!!! All in all, it was a great experience with great food, great service, plenty of outdoor picnic tables under umbrellas, and something for everyone to eat.

Don't let the humble exterior fool you and don't be discouraged by the line (it moves fast). This place is top notch. We got there around noon on a busy August Friday and there were maybe 15 people ahead of us. The guy at the counter takes your order and gives you a buzzer to notify you when to come back inside to grab your food. It's pretty small inside but there are a ton of picnic tables in the grassy areas outside. I got the -"three brothers" which was basically an Italian sub with a lot of fresh prosciutto, salami and ham, juicy tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, lots of bell peppers and Italian dressing-delicious! My wife loved the chicken salad wrap (with cherries of course) and couldn't finish it-did I mention the sandwiches are HUGE and a great value. Our order was ready in about 5-10 minutes. The also sell chips and bottled drinks or go next door to the gas station and get a fountain drink. Super friendly and wonderful, high quality food. Definitely recommended

We ordered multiple burgers (olive burgers & bacon cheeseburger) plus sides (tots & rings) to go, the roads were bad and the rest of our family begged for carryout. That's fine - we each had a Bloody Mary while we waited! Delish. Jessica (general manager) who took our order and made our drinks, was great. She was funny and helpful - timed everything well and made sure we had what we needed. The ambiance is warm and woodsy. New discovery: the restaurant is open for breakfast! I look forward to trying their breakfast on a future visit!

This visit was interesting because the place smelled like overcooked onions, and the pancake wasn't very cooked. The food was served greasy, and had little-to-no seasoning. I didn't complain, as the server was clearly not in the mood to be bothered by customers. We had to ask for silverware, butter, and waited for more than 10 minutes for the check. There was only one other small table of 2 besides our table of 2. She and the other waitress were too busy on her phone to pay attention. The host ended up getting her to give us a check. Maybe it is a good place for dinner or beers. I won't go for breakfast again.

We ordered a medium with mushroom, pepperoni, and extra cheese. It did not take long, and it was perfect. Piping hot and traditional pizza (my fav). It's expensive ($25), but it's worth it, and you tend to see higher prices in destination areas. Max was our server, he was great! So great we went back to try their sandwiches last night! I had the BLT and my husband had the Philly. Both were good, we did not add a side. I wouldn't get the BLT again because I would try something more exciting for the price (LOL). The ambience is warm and friendly, you feel like a local, and if you're lucky you'll meet Max!

Definitely more of a locals place, vibes are immaculate. Started with the pepperoni chips...order these! Gluten free, keto friendly deliciously addicting! I'd order these every time! I had the Salmon burger, and it exceeded my expectations! It's an actually filet of Salmon, no weird patties here. Healthy, fresh tasting, I would order this every time as well! Sweet potato fries had good flavor. Husband ordered pizza and was happy. They have the root beer Friendly's has, which is awesome, because the food at VI is so much better! Service was excellent too! We did inquire about their 4th of July hours, and though they said they were to be open for lunch, they were not. :( I get it, it's a tiny beach town, they can do what they want, but it was a bummer, because the food is special, and because there are so few options. All in all, I wish I was able to try out more of the menu at VI, maybe next time!

At about 14 a2 to $15 apiece this is one of the rare exceptions where it is a good value because you will get two meals out of each sandwich. We ordered a Tripoli (ham, turkey, salami, and provolone, lettuce, and tomato) and a Gaza ( curried chicken, lettuce, tomato, shredded carrot, and peas) both on rye bread. Both sandwiches were made with high-quality ingredients and we would definitely recommend either of them. Again, I cannot stress it enough, the sandwiches are enormous, and you really should share. it feels like a grammar school, kind of a cafeteria, it's modern and clean, but not particularly in inviting or appealing or charming in any way. Service was patient with his first time, kind, and very helpful. Recommend!! I'd like to return in the future and try their bagels.
