Ordered takeout from here - got the Honk Kong Style noodle triple delight. It had a ton of baby corn. It also had a little zucchini, broccoli and corn. This is the only place in Denver that we'll order Chinese from. My boyfriend and I moved to Denver almost 4 years ago from the east coast and have been so disappointed every time we tried ordering Chinese here. We found a couple, literally 2, that have been OK/good, but nothing that really satisfied us until we found Little Dragon. It's a 15-20 minute drive (one way) from where we live, so we usually order through Door Dash. We have picked it up a few times and the staff is always welcoming and seem excited to see you. They are very polite, even on the phones - They don't make you feel rushed while ordering even though they are always super busy. I've loved everything I've ordered so far but some of my favorites are their Fried Crab Cheese Wontons, Pork Spring Rolls and Orange Chicken. Even when it takes a little longer to be delivered by Door Dash, the food is hot when we get it and it tastes as amazing as it smells. My friend and I thought this was a sit down chinese restaurant so when we got there we were confused at first but soon learned that this was a take out restaurant. However, there was one table inside and they allowed us to stay and eat at the restaurant. everyone who worked there was so accommodating and very nice! They kept asking us if we ended anything else and was very friendly! My friend and I ordered the sesame chicken, salt and pepper tofu and the pork bbq appetizer and guys it was so good! I ordered Garlic Tofu, small Hot and Sour soup, and crab cheese wantons using their website. Given some of the other reviews saying their order was messed up when they called it in, I would go the online order if you try the place. Their ordering system auto-updates, my order was done 15 minutes early. It was all bagged up and ready to go. The provided a big cup of hot mustard, another of sweet-n-sour, and a smaller cup of chili oil. I ate a few of the wantons - didn't hit any crab or green onions which the list in the description. Also, you have to get an order of 8 for $9. Wish they would cut that down to 4 for $4.50. Hot and Sour soup was a pint container- it tasted fine but I wish there was more stuff and less broth in the serving I got. Fried rice doesn't seem to have any egg in it, just rice that's been cooked with oil and some soy. Maybe some sesame oil? No veggies in that either. I guess if you pay for the menu fried rice, it might be better. Still, disappointing. Garlic Tofu - for $15, it is a pretty big carton of food. Lots of tofu pieces. I didn't expect the sauce to be quite so sweet, but it wasn't so bad that I won't finish it. This place is fine, and the guy who handed me my bag was nice. read more

I don't know when they joined door dash for delivery but it made the day 100% better. This has been my favorite Chinese place for about 8 years now. Everything I've ever gotten is phenomenal. I moved out of the area and don't go by very often. Today, though, we are both home sick and I wanted wonton soup. Theirs is the best. The broth has a hint of ginger. The wontons are perfect. While in the area tried this place out, we got there bbq fried rice and it was decent but really lacked salt I had to add, there shrimp lo mein was good but not very many shrimp and there Mongolian beef was meh. Alright, so Little Dragon. Becoming our "go-to" Chinese take-out despite being a bit distant, now that delivery is an option. Why? Well, so far I can't think of anything we haven't liked. The wonton soup? Best in town. Seriously, try it. Salt and pepper chicken? I didn't know what to expect, but I killed it. The fried rice is okay, not best around though. Lemon chicken? Check. Americanzed Chinese food is occasionally a divisive topic. Just take a look through these reviews. You'll find more positive than negative, but there are still plenty of people who are aghast at those of us who are big Little Dragon fans. I'm on the side of *love*. Everyone needs a "cheap" Chinese food joint from which they can reliably order whatever their preferred basics are. I don't believe that there's anyone on the planet who tries more than one new dish from any given Chinese food restaurant in a two-year span. Once you know Sesame Chicken and crab cheese wontons and steamed dumplings and pork fried rice is your jam - that's what you get. Everywhere. Little Dragon is the perfect place for this. I have, of course, tried a couple new things and not loved those things, but for the things that are usually my jam the quality here is above everyone else. It's fast, it's delicious, it's well-made, it's flavorful, and it satisfies every single nerve ending involved in "omg I really really want Chinese food tonight!" You know how that feels. I highly recommend them And the beef flank steak Kung Pao !! The flank steak is cooked perfect with fluffy fried rice . I avoided trying this place for a long time, because they are frankly too expensive for location and casual dining. I enjoy Asian on a regular basis. Other places in the area are just as good and cost less, but a bit farther away from me and not as close or convenient to pick up (ie. Pepper Asian Bistro, Q House, Peter's Chinese Cafe, Littke Gingko, Chin Lin, Noodles Express). ALL cheaper and of equal or better options and quality. Curiosity got the best of me. Happily surprised. Portions were actually pretty good. Hit or miss so far on entrees and apps, some better (lo mein, fried rice, chix lettuce wraps) than others (dumplings too thick and doughy for me). Quick service and takeout. Unfortunately, those inflated prices are not worth it. Stick to basic entrees and more filling carb heavy dishes. Avoid some of the mediocre appetizers, chef's suggestions or specialties. Skip add-ons, extras, sides and tips. Reduce your prices. You'll get more business and consistent customers. $20+ for meals, $15-20 for apps is too much. It's okay, but the taste and texture of the beef lo mein and hot & sour soup I got were a bit off. Noodles had that 'rinsed' taste and were a little too thick and mushy. The tofu in the hot & sour was mushy also. I also got the pork egg rolls and those lacked flavor. Coming from someone who lived in Atlanta and had years of experiencing fantastic and authentic food, I can confidently say Little Dragon knocks it out of the park. Okay, one of the best "COVID-Era Take Out" experiences I've had. Was craving Chinese and my usual go to was closed for some strange reason so I figured I'd try Little Dragon. Ordered the Singapore noodles with beef, Salt & Pepper chicken, and Wontons. First off the portions are huge, I still have left overs next day as I'm writing this review.... Everything tasted amazing, honestly much better than I expected. Stand out dish was definitely the Singapore Noodles with beef. If I had to gripe about something, and this is just nit-picking on an above average take out meal, it would be the fact that the chicken was heavy on the breading and a bit light on the chicken. I say that in comparison to another place I often order salt and pepper chicken from. Will definitely be trying again and can't wait to explore their menu a bit more. Great food. Large portions. Stopped in for take out right before closing on a Saturday night. The food was ready a bit before we got there, but even with that and a 30 min drive home it was still hot and delicious when we sat down to eat it. Got the sesame chicken, hot and sour soup, and pork spring rolls. All was delicious, the sesame chicken was perfectly crisp and not chewy like you find at some places. The food here is better than some other options in the neighborhood, just be careful with substitutions. I can't eat peppers, so asked for the peppers in my dish to be replaced with either broccoli or snap peas which I can eat and are included in other dishes. When I picked up my order, they had charged me $5 for "extra" broccoli. i wasn't notified when I placed the order that there would be any additional charge nor did I ask for " extra", just a replacement of the vegetable I couldn't eat. Considering this charge was 30% of the price of the entire dish and the fact that there were literally 6 pieces of broccoli, this feels a little like gouging. Consistently delicious. And the portion size of the entrees are generous and the leftovers are always yummy! The one thing that I really wish Little Dragon offered is egg drop soup. That said their veggie tofu and peace not war wonton soups are both great. Typically we order spring rolls, edamame and either lomein, Singapore rice noodles or drunken noodles. The pork in the lomein is really great. The quality of beef used in the other noodle dishes we order is above acceptable, which is one reason we keep coming back. Love to get the other noodle dishes with extra spice. The chili oil they send along is flavorful and adds a great kick. I have hesitated to write this review for too long and in reading the reviews, I see that others have experienced this same exact issue. It's time to put this in writing now that I've experienced the same absurd customer service issue THREE TIMES. At this point, I feel like I'd be doing the community a disservice for not relaying this account because if it's happened to our family this many times, it's certainly happened to others and on a consistent basis. Here's what happened: We placed a large order this evening for our family to accommodate several dietary restrictions. One of the entrees we ordered was over $20 and was missing in our box when it arrived. I called and politely explained that though the entree was listed on the receipt that was taped to the top of the delivery box, the entree itself was actually missing. The woman I spoke to actually ARGUED with me and told me the item was included in the box that she allegedly packed herself. She refused to compensate us, refused to drive the correct order to our home, refused to apologize or even acknowledge the error. Incredibly frustrating after having spent well over $100 plus delivery fees, tax, service charges and driver tip. The woman I spoke to was rude and dismissive and told us we'd have to take the issue up with Door Dash directly. Given this same exact issue has happened to us THREE times, I am now left feeling as though the restaurant is ignoring an issue they are completely aware of and are all too comfortable letting people pay for items they aren't delivering all the while blaming Door Dash. Btw - our box from Door Dash was sealed with tape that I had to open with scissors so I'm certain our driver did not take our food. Add to that, we've never had issues with Door Dash when ordering from any other restaurant. My neighbor recommended this place for Chinese food in Denver, and I am so glad we finally got a chance to try it. I was blown away with my takeout experience! They were very kind and helpful when taking my order via the phone, even asking if I knew where they were located and offering to hold my order until closer to my desired pickup time so that it was hot and fresh. When my food was ready, I got a text message that also told me to be careful, as the parking lot was icy. (It was.) I saw them sanitizing the stylus pen between customers, and payment at the window was quick and easy. They even gave me an extra wonton soup on the house. So nice! The food was really good. In the past when I have ordered takeout Chinese food at other places, some of the items that are supposed to be crispy end up soggy by the time I get home, but that wasn't the case here. When you're looking for those go-to take out dishes - sesame chicken, fried rice, lo mein, hot and sour soup, and beef with broccoli - Little Dragon has the best versions in town. What's more is that Little Dragon carries a bunch of stuff I've never seen anywhere else - a ton of healthy dishes that are baked rather than fried and a ton of vegetarian stuff too.
