Very happy! I tried this place out this morning after reading the reviews. I was in the mood for coffee and a bagel, and wanted something different from my usual Honey Dew or Dunkin. I was not disappointed. The ice coffee was great, and the bagel with cream cheese delicious. This might be my new Sunday morning stop. The BEST in Upton! (really, the only thing in Upton...) The coffee is awesome, and the breakfast sandwiches are to die for. You can join the coffee club (buy 10 get 1 free). The staff is super friendly and know us by name. The downsides (but notice I still give 5 stars)--- cash only, and only open until 2. I do crave their Sausage egg and cheese at 10:00 on some nights, but it's probably better for my thighs that they close at 2. read more

Staff is friendly and really gets to know their regulars. I live 20 minutes away and would drive out there at least 3 times a week in the summer, usually more. It's that good! I drive from Milford/Bellingham on every day off I have (and some more) just for this crew. The service here is AMAZING, everyone is so friendly and inviting, and works hard to get food and coffees out FAST. Not only are the coffees all amazing (all ~50 flavors), but the bagel sandwiches and wraps are to die for. And, it's all so cheap and they take cards now! Wish they were open later, but I'll tweak my schedule to get there in time any day. read more

I LOVE the coffee bean. Best hot and iced coffee around. Bagels are fantastic too, whether you get them with cream cheese (I recommend the veggie) or as a sandwich with freshly made-to-order eggs/meat. The best breakfast sandwiches around!! Not the fake egg crap that is served at Dunkin Donuts. This is real egg and meat cooked to order. The bagels are fresh and delicious and the coffee is awesome! My go to order is hazelnut iced coffee and an egg, cheese and sausage sandwich on a sesame bagel. Only downside is that it's cash only but that's not enough to lose a star. BEST ICED COFFEE EVER. Tons of flavors of iced and hot coffee. I always get the Mocha Java. Make sure you get the jumbo size though because they use a lot of ice and it's so tasty you'll be done before you know it. They also have a huge selection of bagels - the spinach and garlic is my current favorite. The only down side is that if you go on a weekend there is a really long line and it is super packed (always with high school kids). read more

A million flavors to choose from and they are all brewed, not syrup which is a huge bonus. Best iced coffee around. Tons of flavors to choose from and they "melt" the sugar with hot coffee so you don't end up with a pile of sugar at the bottom of your cup. This past Saturday, 5/19 I was in line waiting to purchase an Iced coffee. Well the two women were very friendly to the other customers in line, but when the first woman was done with her customer, the one right in front of me, She left and went into the back, I thought nothing of it, so I waited for the other cashier, my turn was next, well when she finished with her customer, she walked away as well. I waited a few more minutes and realized that neither of them were coming back to wait on me. So I left and went to the Red Barn where they have better service, better Iced coffee and don't care who you are. Never will I ever step foot in the coffee bean again. Best food, best coffee, and best all-around environment! The Little Coffee Bean has something for everyone. It is great for families or small groups of friends to sit down and chat while eating, or even just to grab a coffee and a quick bite to eat! They have the best bagels, many different pastries, and breakfast sandwiches along with many other things. They offer a lot of different flavors of coffee that you just don't see many other places. Besides having amazing food and coffee, the customer service is a huge help in drawing in so many customers. I always leave with a big smile on my face! "Bean" is the place to be on the weekends! The twenty minute drive is definitely worth it for me, as well as for many other people. I would make the long drive everyday and I often do! Everything is fairly priced, however they do only accept cash. There is a Bank of America ATM right out front though! When I went there this past weekend 11/30/13 I got a medium caramel nut crunch iced coffee and a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel- two of the best things I have ever tasted. During other trips to Coffee Bean I have also tried various flavors of coffee, different types of bagels with butter, and a few muffins (blueberry is my favorite!) I highly recommend trying one of everything! Basically everyone that I know loves The Little Coffee Bean and I have never heard of someone having a negative experience there. Was visiting Uptweek ago and found this place on Google because I was looking for New England clam chowder. I couldn't believe how good the chowder was and when I called the nice lady said that they run out most of the time so I asked that she reserve enough for two bowls since my friend and I would be eating there. The place isn't huge and it is crowded but the chowder was DELICIOUS. We met the owner who was such a nice guy, told him it was our first time in his place and we were visiting my friend's daughter. Anyway, as we were about to leave the owner comes out with a container of chowder and said that the last of the chowder was in the I container and he would like us to have it. I mean, how many times does that happen. We stopped there the morning we were leaving Ma and bought two sandwiches to go and they were top notch. Almost makes me want to move to Ma, only in the summer of course!!!GREAT PLACE read more
