My daughter having some good stuff.

Cute little place. Service was good. The people that work here are excellent at making sure your taken care of. Food is really good. I love the chicken skewers and orange chicken. The egg rolls and soup are so yummy! Living in a small town and having to drive to Greeley or Brighton for panda express is not very convenient. I highly recommend you try the little bamboo the next time your craving that type of food. Little Bamboo is delicious. It is a healthier option when you compare the food you get there with a pizza place or other type of fast food restaurant. If you do go there, I am curious to know what your fortune cookie said so post it below and we can see what everyones said! Mine said: A charming friendship is in the making. I wonder who that might be? lol Here are some pictures. Thanks for reading my review

Sashimi

Amazing experience! GIANT sashimi and super-heady rolls with premium cold sake at a ridiculously out-dated price! What a gem hidden in Fort Morgan, Colorado of all places!!

Yushen Shrimp and it was delicious.

Very good food. I've been here twice now and will come back again. I had the drunken noodles and they were excellent. Order the hot green tea, so nice on a cold day.

Russell S.

Burnt potstickers on one greasy as heck on the other. Not to mention the overcooked sweet and sour pork. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid this place all together.

a tray of sushi and chopsticks

Got takeout. For sushi in fort Morgan. Everything was prepared quick and perfect . I give it a 12 out of 10 . Would love to come back

Delicious meal wrapped up with a fortune cookies. This place is much nicer inside than the parking lot implies.

Food comes out quick, no flavor, all pretty bland and very hot. Probably microwaved. Cute little shop though if you need some food.

You know a place is good when we come twice in a row during vacation!…read more We were in CO for the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club specialty and I was craving Thai food. As I hail from CA, we have plenty of authentic Thai restaurants to choose from. As such, I was looking for a small, authentic Thai place near Brighton, where the show was being held. Ponsawan came recommended, and I was immediately drawn to this place especially with its namesake. Some of the best Thai places I've been to have "difficult"-sounding names. It was dinner the first time we went, and we were seated quickly. Our server was friendly, and gave us time to peruse the menu. I went with the pineapple fried rice while my husband went with the pork pad Thai. The pineapple fried rice had a lovely wok hei and there were plenty of fresh pineapples as well. I loved the cashews on the side, and the crispy cucumbers. Portion size was perfect. My husband's pad Thai was saucy and tamarind-y. Personally, I prefer a drier pad Thai, but he enjoyed this, I think mainly because of how strong the tamarind flavor was. Our server asked if we wanted to try the mango sticky rice since she said it was mango season, but we politely declined. The next day, we were both craving Ponsawan again, so we came for a late lunch. The owner recognized us and welcomed us back in. This time, we also got drinks and an app. I went with the Thai tea and my husband went with the Thai coffee. Both were not too sweet and a good strength. The app we chose was the dumplings, which were fried to perfection and came with the most delicious dipping sauce. As far as our entrees, I went with the pork pad kee mao and my husband went with the yellow curry fried rice. Our server apparently heard his order incorrectly and gave him the pineapple fried rice, but apologized and was quick to rectify the situation. As such, I received my food first, and had to wait a few more minutes before we could eat together. The pad kee mao had the perfect amount of spice, and the pork was tender. The yellow curry fried rice again had a lovely wok hei and the curry powder was delightfully pungent. Both times we dined, our food didn't take long to arrive at all. I'd say less than 15 minutes for both of our dishes. They had lunch specials, but for the price point of the entrees, it was a no brainer to just order entrees. The food was super affordable and the portion sizes were not skimpy at all. Not huge, but definitely not skimpy. Ponsawan is easily on my favorites list for the Denver area and we will most certainly be back the next time we go to CO! (I will also need to try their curries, so that is a high priority for our next visit.)

They said, it's usually eaten together I'd skip it next time. Also, Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce (w/tofu) I asked, if they could make it with beef, couldn't and it's all veggies, served with peanut sauce is yummy. For dessert, ordered mango with sticky rice, it's yummy, plus mangoes are in season. I forgot to take pictures of food, guess we're hungry. Service is good, there's only 2 ladies serving for entire restaurant. Plus, it was during dinner rush, she got all of our orders correctly, exception of cilantro in my dish. She got all of our drinks, even water for my service dog. It was busy, service is slow, little patience goes long way. It was lovely to eat inside, clean & kid friendly.

We were in time for the lunch menu and I will say from the get go that we were promptly seated, waited on and all our food outstanding. The lunch menu, although a bit abbreviated from the dinner menu, had many favorites to be found. The lunch special included an entree; choice of Jasmine, brown or fried rice; an egg roll and choice of a salad with ranch dressing or tom kha soup with chicken. My friend had the spicy basil with chicken, Jasmine rice and soup. I had their panang curry with chicken, fried rice and soup. The soup came out quickly as individual bowls and was a touch spicy, but fully flavorful all the same. The vegetable egg rolls came out piping hot, but were not even slightly greasy. Our server checked on us midway through our meal and I added a mango iced tea and mango with black sticky rice. I have had Thai all over the U.S., France, Germany and Italy and I have to say the food here is as good as any place I have ever eaten. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering how good the food tastes. I will definitely add this place to my list of best Thai restaurants in the Fort Collins area. I can't wait to go back for an evening meal.

We're been going here for years, usually on a Friday night. Tonight was different for dinner and…read morenot in a good way. The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived. We were seated immediately and given menus. Our waiter returned about 10 minutes later with water and to take our order. Carry out is always busy so yeah it took a little while to get our food. Food never disappoints but service tonight was not up to what it has been. Once our food was served no one checked back to see if it was ok, our water was never replenished and at the end of the meal we had to flag down a waiter to get a check and a to go box. We had a gift certificate and our waiter was unsure how to process it. Another wait time ensued. In the past on a Friday night there have been 2-3 wait staff in the floor. Yes, it's a small restaurant but when it's busy they need the extra help. I'll keep coming back because I love their food but the service has to step it up. Train the servers on how to check on tables, refill water and be present when the table is nearing the end of their meal. When serving another table don't ignore the tables already served and right next to where you are standing.

I'd say the consensus was overall positive. But we do have some critique. I had the drunken noodles with pork and mild spice. It was tasty. I enjoyed the sauce, but the pork was tough and there weren't many vegetables. The pork was better as a leftover later. I ordered this because it listed veggies. But those were sparsely placed. Perhaps I needed to ask for extra. My husband had Moo Ping very mild. He said it was tasty, but again, the pork was chewy, hard for him. The rice was so hard, he couldn't cut it with his fork. So that went uneaten. My friends went hotter and it seemed their meals were better. She had Grandma's Pad Thai. I tasted it. Yummy. He had a very hot curry that I didn't try, but he seemed to enjoy it. If I went back, I'd get her dish. They also ordered three appetizers. Edamame might have been frozen. They were mushy to me. And no salt that I detected, so bland. I didn't put enough sauce on the golden tofu, I guess. The others enjoyed it. My husband really liked it. And we all enjoyed the shrimp tempura. My friend also had a mixed drink and seemed to enjoy that. It was quiet enough that we could catch up and it's in between where we live. In all, a good experience, with both hits and misses.
