I cannot rave enough about this company. Starting with Joan (telephone) and arranging the move effortlessly for me and reassured me everything will be fine. The cost is very affordable and fair as I have moved 6 times I know when I'm being taken advantage of. Joan kept me informed via email several times before the move to ask if I had any questions and I did have a few and they were answered with great reassurance. The day of the move began in Gladwyne, PA at a retirement home and they are exceptionally fussing about everything much less a move. The guys, Frank and Don, arrived 15 minutes early (I was not there, I live in northern NJ across from NYC). By the time they got in the building, it was 9:00 am. Their wrapping of the highly fragile pieces was perfect and the large pieces of furniture were wrapped in "blankets" and taped. Excellent job. Frank and Don kept me posted on their driving to NJ. I live in a very large, confusing apartment complex and their final call to me told me they were outside. I looked from my balcony and there they were UNDER my window. UPS and FdEx get lost all the time and they are here 3 times a day. Both guys were very nice, friendly, clean cut, thorough, fast, neat, cautious and wore a litemovers' jacket. THE ENTIRE MOVE TOOK 3 1/2 HOURS! Now, remember it started in PA and ended in northern NJ. Not so much as a piece of tape was left on the floor - nothing. Frank and Don were very neat. I have a need for them again in a few months and I have no reservations nor any concerns about hiring litemovers for that move. As I mentioned before I have moved 6 times in my life and never, ever has a move gone without some kind of a hitch until today. I called Joan (remember her in the beginning) after the guys left and told her everything went smoothly and she was thrilled and again, super friendly. Do yourself a big favor and hire this company. LiteMovers was recommended to my wife by a professional organizer who was a colleague. The mission: to move an antique oak desk (with gargoyle drawer pulls) from Pennsylvania to a second-story bedroom in my home in the Hudson Valley area of New York. Joan, in the office, had one opening the next day -- perfect for my schedule. The two men who arrived at the pickup location -- on time -- were personable and professional, and they wrapped up the desk carefully and loaded it into the truck. Having noticed that one of the legs was loose, they loaded it on its side, with lots of padding all around. Good attention to detail. They arrived at my home several hours later, where my wife was waiting for them. First, they removed the desk that had been in that room and placed it at the curb for pickup. Then, the challenge began. The doorway was just not wide enough, and the desk did not have a removable top. They gently tried every possible way -- so I said (by phone), "go ahead and take off the door frame mouldings." Even then, it was a narrow squeeze, but Ed and Eric got the desk into the room and set up, with NO DAMAGE. They showed care for the desk -- which had been in my family for several generations -- and worked patiently with it. My experience was 100% with LiteMovers. read more

Lite Movers helped us move over the weekend and I'm still impressed by how fabulous they were! They arrived on time, worked quickly & efficiently, and were extremely professional until the end! They wrapped all furniture that was not wrapped and gently packed it into the truck. Upon unpacking the truck the surveyed the home and had us simply supervise the direction of items. I tried to help move stuff a few times and the guys refused to let me! They were so accommodating that once we were finished moving everything in they asked if everything was where we wanted it and moved a few pieces from room to room! They made sure we were completely satisfied before they left. Moving is so stressful and exhausting but they honestly made it So much easier and we were so grateful! The best part was they finished earlier than projected and adjusted the estimate to reflect that so of course we were happy to spend less - so we tipped more I was blown away at how great they all were and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning to move! Fantastic moving company, don't look anywhere else! Professional, hard-working, smart, careful, respectful, friendly, thoughtful. And probably any other great adjective you could think of when for what you'd want your movers to be. My husband and I have lived in a home in Wynnewood PA for twenty years; leaving was one of the hardest things I have ever done. The crew we had from Litemovers truly made it easier. The 4 man crew became practically like family in the two days we had them with us. They were with us in Wynnewood and there early the next day in Bethesda, Maryland; they took care of our belongings and of us and our little old dog. If needed, they gave advice on where to put things. Their attitude toward a very hard move was always positive, even with heavy and difficult items they had to deal with. And also, working with Joan and Ed on the business end was nothing but pleasurable. I had a lot of questions which were answered patiently and thoroughly. They did it again! Our circumstances made it necessary for us to move twice in three months. We used Litemovers for our first move and it couldn't have gone smoother. On September 1, 2017, Litemovers moved us into our new house. We were very happy to see Ian and Sean, the same guys who moved us the first time. We now refer to them as "The A Team". Once again, Ian and Sean moved our household goods like they were moving their own. Everything arrived in the same shape it was in when they picked it up. They pay great attention to what is around them, being careful not to bang into anything. I can attest to how hard these guys work as both my moves came in under the estimate. I live in NC and was fortunate to find Litemovers online. I needed help with a very small, but important move of some sentimental items from one home to another in Malvern, PA. Over the phone, I described the situation to Ed and the items to be packed and moved... he quoted me a price which I felt was fair. I actually had a lower quote from a similar type of mover on the Main Line, but I didn't feel as confident about that mover. From the beginning, Ed was friendly, helpful, concerned and honest. I felt he would handle the move with care. I was not disappointed! Ed and his team came through for me and moved my things from one home to another while I went about my business in North Carolina! I was in a bind needing a moving company asap, I called early this morning after getting their phone number from a referral. I was greeted by a very pleasant person who does the scheduling, she put me at ease immediately and did everything to make it happen. She continued to keep me updated on the status via texting which kept my level of anxiety down, she made no promise and also gave a few alternative dates if not successful. Woohoo! within an hour the movers were on the way and three hours later, job done and done right. The two workers were very polite, on time which was a plus, and careful with our items. This company and their employees I would say are exemplary. I will be using them again and telling others. I know that calling and getting help on the same day in itself was very unusual by today's standards. give I promise to give them a little more notice the next time. Outstanding! read more

I can't say enough great things about the team that helped us move this past week. They were incredibly professional, super friendly and really helped to lighten the mood during our move.  We've moved four times in the past 7 years and have had some awful experiences, so we were definitely very stressed thinking about this move.  The team (Robert, Larry, Isaac, Omar, Kareem) went above and beyond and although we hope to not move any time soon, we wouldn't pick anyone else to ever move us again. I really can't say enough great things about these guys. They were quick, super careful with our stuff, and made sure that everything was in the right place. I just used them this past weekend for a move from Ardmore to Haverford and they were excellent! They arrived on time, were courteous & efficient. They had plenty of blankets & supplies to protect my furniture, and they even had extra boxes in the truck. They know the area well which was great for the building that I moved into. They knew the best route to take to avoid underpasses that would be too low for the truck. They knew ahead of time that my new place requires movers to park on the busy Route 30 & avoid using the elevator. It was not a problem for Litemovers at all. They moved absolutely everything up the stairs without a complaint --and I have some pretty heavy furniture. They were more than willing to adjust the placement of furniture for me as well. I had a very unique situation that Litemovers helped me with - we are having a kitchen renovation done, and the place that made the cabinets could not deliver on our street due to the size of their truck. I needed to find a way to get the cabinets from the truck to our house! I called litemovers, and together we arranged to have the cabinets delivered to their warehouse, and then they delivered the cabinets to our house a few hours later. Every person I dealt with was SO nice and professional (Ed, Joan, and the 2 movers whose names I now forget). Joan was quick to reply to my questions over the phone and via email. The movers were careful, but speedy, and greeted me with a smile and a handshake (sadly, unusual these days). For our recent office move, we engaged litemovers. Frank and his crew - Walt, Eddie, James and Phil - worked quickly and efficiently. Frank's spatial reasoning and total recall of our furnishings, and the group's team approach, allowed me to relax while they did the work. They were polite, pleasant and attentive. Litemovers helped us move around a lot of heavy furniture (including cabinets hung by cleats) within an office building in order to switch many offices around. From the very beginning they were accommodating and helpful by working around the office's tight schedule of when we would be able to have movers come in even though they were very busy. They were early, energetic, and ready to get moving immediately which was great. They were also polite and clean-cut. Everything was done being moved around much earlier than we expected it to be, leaving a lot more time for us to get our own work done. The two guys were there on time and started in on getting the truck loaded. My old place had lots of stairs and some heavy pieces of furniture to move down the stairs. One mover kept complaining about the stairs and his back but they got the truck loaded. When we got to my new place (new place has no stairs) they unloaded the truck. My coffee table was found to be broken and they said they had packed it wrong and offered me to put in claim or give me a break on the moving price. I am pretty handy so I took the price break and fixed it myself. Other then the complaining about the stairs and my broken table the move was done with no waste of time. Was a good move. read more

We were moving my mother into a smaller apartment and she had quite an inventory of all types of collectibles and at this point surplus furniture, including a complete dining room set. They did an outstanding job. We had so much "stuff" we had to donate most of it to a charity, so they loaded the charity items and the items coming to our house and delivered on the same trip and everything went perfectly! Many of the items we kept were very delicate/fragile items and there was not one piece damaged. They worked hard with temps near 100 and they never slowed down or complained. I was able to schedule with Joan and the crew at Litemovers pretty much last minute. They were on time, professional, courteous and took special care with all of my belongings. One lamp cracked, and they immediately brought it to my attention and offered a fair credit. When moving my stuff in to the new place, they had plastic to protect the floor and were careful and considerate. They got done sooner then expected, and my invoice was less than my quote (which is always a bonus!) This company gets an A+ rating, and I will definitely use them again.
