First timers .. on Father's Day. Food was really good. It took 35 mins to get the food and some of the food order never came. We would likely give them another chance. read more

I usually love greasy spoon diners, but this place just isn't very good. The corned beef hash has no flavor at all. It was very disappointing. read more

If you're looking for a locally owned "mom & pop" restaurant this is the place. Lisa was our waitress & she is sweet as can be! The food was great and it was quick! I will definitely be back when I'm in that area! read more

Wait staff is very friendly. Prices are great. Food is good but nothing to write home about. However, my mom loves this place so I'll be back. read more

A pleasant eatery open from 7 am til 3 pm. Serves breakfast throughout. charges extra for English muffins instead of toast.

Great place for breakfast and lunch. We stopped in this past Thursday for the first time. It use to be the Red squirrel. I ordered the Frisco Melt and my husband ordered the Patty Melt. They were delicious. Our waitress was very friendly, and the restaurant was neat and clean. We found a new lunch place to enjoy. read more

Tried for the first time today. Steak Hoagie was solid! Service was great! Will definitely come back.

The breakfast was delicious!! The service was speedy and very friendly. Lisa (owner) personally went table to table to check on the guest experience. I enjoyed the food and the establishment. read more

This place was awesome. Huge portions and home made. The chicken fried steak and eggs was the best. I will be back for sure. This blows any breakfast chain out of the water, it's easier on the wallet and you get way more on your plate. read more

This is a typical, predictable and wonderful American diner. We had eggs benny and a double decker club. Fabulous and our waitress Donna was very nice. We will come back. Thanks Lisa, sorry that I almost took the fork read more

Since the departure of the regular cook, the food quality has plummeted. Serving cooled food. Not paying attention to special requests. I shudder to think of a request due to an allergy. read more

I love to support local small business. The food is classic diner food which is reasonable in price and prepared well. The owner, Lisa, has been there every time we have visited and personally stops by every table. The chef even came by and checked on every tables meal as well. Lisa's oatmeal raisin cookies are AMAZING! She even will special makes a dozen for me and my husband while we eat our meal for us to take home. First class service! read more

They have good, comforting food. Had a grilled cheese with real bacon and tomato. Chose a fruit cup for a side and they serve banana in it! I haven't seen that normally. read more

We had an omelette with ham, mushroom and Swiss and a #126 hard boiled egg with bacon. The omelette had fresh mushroom not canned..it was very good. The sandwich was well made ..a little short of eggs and the toast could have been toasted a bit better, but otherwise enjoyed it. We will be back. read more

Awesome place to get some good food. Service is above board. Food was great. Portions were perfect

Good place for breakfast and lunch for standard diner fare. Daily specials are nicely priced and two people can have a hearty lunch with drinks for about $20 plus tip. The chicken fried steak and eggs is a waistline killer, but oh so good. Some of the best country gravy I've had ever! Service ranges to excellent to good, depending on how busy they are and if the kitchen is backed up. The best part of the whole experience, perhaps, is having Lisa stop by your table to see how everything is. Hands-on management by the restaurant's namesake. read more

We stopped by Lisa's Kitchen when we stayed in Fairfield this weekend. The food was amazing and service was the best! We're definitely planning on bringing our kids in the next time we head down to Jungle Jim's. read more

I can't understand the person who complained about the service. We have been here a dozen times and the service was great. The place is super clean. I complimented Lisa about that and she invited me back into the kitchen to check it out as well. I don't eat eggs but my wife loves the omelettes. I usually get a hot sandwich and They are always delicious. I like the saratoga-style chips a lot too. read more

I liked this place. It's a great place for breakfast. I got the corned beef and hash browns - turned out well. The food isn't the greatest but it's good diner type food. I haven't been for lunch yet but would. Also if you liked The Red Squirrel - one of the waitresses bought the place after the old owner suddenly shut it down. It captures everything that place was. My waitress was very friendly and I'm glad to see a place like this stay in town. read more

Best little breakfast place in the whole area. The food is all top quality, I enjoy the breakfast burrito. The waffles are also amazing. Service is top notch. The waitress named Amanda is awesome and very friendly. A great local place to have breakfast. read more

Ordered some breakfast for carry-out. The food tasted amazing and was very cheap. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Lisa's Kitchen is a standard American diner that serves good food at great prices. It's a step up from Waffle House and not as pretentious as Taste of Belgium or as crunchy as First Watch. read more

I found Lisa's Kitchen online searching for nearby breakfast places. The restaurant had great reviews and I love mom and pop operations so we went for it. It was Delicious! Just like mom used to make. They were all super nice. The waitress who I assume was Lisa was amazing, the cook visited the table as well and he was an absolute delight. What a wonderful experience. We brought our little girls too and they were even given a free cookie on their way out! Just an outstanding operation and we highly recommend a visit. read more

Nice place. Friendly people, Great Food. Stopped here on our way to Jungle Jim's. Will definitely be back.

I love this place. Lisa and her staff are great and the prices are very reasonable. Great for breakfast and lunch. Try the Billy Burger for lunch. All the breakfast options are great (I'm partial to anything with goetta in it!) read more

Okay, it may seem trivial, but I order hash browns crispy at every breakfast joint I visit. I always get a lump of raw potatoes with a crispy shell on top, but not here. These were PERFECT. I will be back. read more

Go on a Wednesday, and order the Wednesday special - a Kentucky Hot Brown with onion straws! You will end up licking the plate it's SO good! I've had this twice, and can't wait to go back again! New favorite restaurant! Me and some co-workers discovered this place a couple weeks ago and have returned every chance we have had since then. Food is great, service is great...what more could you ask for? Looking forward to trying just about everything on the menu. read more

My husband and I stopped by Lisa's Kitchen for a quick bite, staff was friendly seemed clean, however when our drinks came,(sweet tea with lemon) we noticed the " lemons" that were on the side of the glass was very noticiably "REUSED" yes, bite marks are the lemons and they were already stained with previous owners tea, GROSS! Lemons aren't not cut in with teeth marks. We showed the waitress the "REUSED" lemons and she was quick to get us a fresh cut lemon, but this time we asked for water instead, wasn't taking a chance the tea belonged to someone else as well. We did stay to see what the food was going to be like bc if my hash browns came with ketchup I didn't apply myself, there was going to be more than a" YELP" made. Food was not recycled, but NEVER again will I eat there. Recycled lemons are just gross. Check your drinks and food, I've never written a complaint about bad service anywhere, and some should have been reported, but recycling is a food hazard itself! read more

My wife and I would eat here a couple times a week when I meet her for lunch. We really enjoyed eating here and the food was really good. My wife is on lunch break at 12:00 and we placed our order around 12:15 for half BLT sandwich for my wife and whole frisco sandwhich for me. She has an hour and we didn't receive our food until 12:35. Then the waitress brought me a salad which I didn't order and told my wife they can't do a half BLT sandwiches. We've always had good service here and for our last visit and "I mean last visit" Very Poor Service and we were disrespected by the owner/manager(burr haircut) that when we addressed it with him, he only said I'm sorry and said the amount we owe! My wife then said to him I had to eat my food fast because of time and he said I'm sorry were really busy (in which they weren't). Really! I said is that it? He said to me what more do you want me to do. I'll said address it and he got belligerent when he said it. I can honestly say when the blonde hair manager owner lady with the glasses which I believe is Lisa was there managing we've never had this problem! read more
