Worst business I've ever dealt with. Put in a pick-up through the app. I had a suit jacket and a light down jacket. There was one option and one price for a jacket option. I selected that option. And then one suit jacket. First - I get an email where they try to charge me $14 extra for an "extra dirty down jacket". They didn't call me or discuss the up charge with me. I inform them that there is no down jacket option and they cannot change the price without first discussing it with a customer. They agree to credit me the $14 back. Then, my items were due to be delivered on or before 7 PM on a date certain. At 8 PM that day, I email to inquire where my items are and receive an email back saying "my order is still being processed" with no promise of when I will receive my things back. They also repeatedly refer me to an attached photo though nothing is attached. Had I not called them, they wouldn't have even let me know my items were not being delivered on time. It's wild that they run a business this way. I asked for them to just return my items and issue a full refund and they are refusing. DO NOT use this business. read more

We've been using Liox for about a year now and I think they're fine. Seeing a lot of horror stories below so wanted to share my two cents. PROS: - Efficiency & Convenience - they have an app, I can select what I need, when I want it picked up, and when I want it back. I almost always get it within the specified time frames, and if it's going to be earlier (it's never been later), they text to ask if that works for us CONS: - Limited service - they don't do any repairs, just straight up wash dry or dry clean - Automation - they don't respond to acknowledge any notes in your request, they also don't really take time to assess your laundry regularly (seems to be hit or miss to me). In the past, they've washed a sweater that should have been dry cleaned (with care specified on the tag) because I undercounted the sweaters I had included. They just assumed it wasn't dry clean which was bizarre to me and ruined the sweater. NEUTRAL: - Customer Service - have had good experiences (texting to ask if it was okay if it was dropped off early) and bad experiences (notes ignored, care instructions ignored), overall is fine - Cleaning - things seem to get clean. Occasionally it doesn't look or smell like things got super clean but that isn't a common occurrence - however it shouldn't ever be a thing Overall, the operation seems very efficient and devoid of a personal touch. Things get processed the way they were selected in the app, with no consideration to notes or requests, and without further thought. However, the convenience of being able to drop my laundry in my lobby and not worry about it for 2 days and reliably get it back in a reasonable condition (and the fact that the bulk of what we use it for is wash and fold for my husband's work shirts) has been enough to keep me using the service. read more

Way overpriced. Doesn't always come on time - has been delivered a few times when I wasn't home and they just left my stuff in the hallway. Has come in a flimsy plastic trash bag when they forgot half my order. My stuff never seems that clean - has spots on it, has had ink on it, smells like there was no detergent used. Terrible. Last time I ever use them. I wish I could rate them zero stars. They also destroyed my son's school pants that I JUST bought. No apology. No offer of a refund. Absolutely horrible customer service and reliability. The first time I used them, my laundry was not delivered. A driver came 30 minutes after my scheduled window, which made me late for work. He didn't speak English, and was barely able to convey he was there to pickup, not deliver. No idea where my clothes were. I contacted Richard at customer service who told me a truck broke down - thanks for letting me know before I was late - and was given a credit and begged for a second chance. I tried them again and service was acceptable and on time. The pickup driver is always rude and doesn't ever reply when I greet him and thank him. I used Liox a third time, and waited again last night for my laundry to be delivered. I was never buzzed, and changed plans to stay home all night waiting for it. Two voicemails left by me and three emails later, I heard from Richard. He told me the driver buzzed and then left my laundry in the lobby. There is no lobby, I live in a walkup - and the company website states that they won't leave laundry unattended - how could this be??? Surprise! I discovered my laundry in the BUILDING NEXT DOOR - not the same address and just sitting there - to which I do not have a key. Stellar. During covid, a lot of laundromats were closed and doing my grad classes online was already a headache. I had tried cleanly but they were 4 days out. Liox had good reviews. However, the pickup guy came with NO MASK, and in an UHaul (not a professional brand van). This was in April/May - height of pandemic! He dropped it off without a Mask as well 2 days later and my clothes smelled as if they all had been squeezed into one washer. Also, they technically didn't come to my zip code - I was across the street so the customer guy just told me to put down the wrong zip code and it'll be up to the driver whether or not they come. They do a good job but they don't come on time ever. Last week I scheduled a 10:30am pickup and someone was at my door waking up my entire apartment at 6:30am. I get being a little early but 4 hours at 6:30am is absurd. The time before that I scheduled them for 3:30pm and they came at 6:30pm. It was my 3rd time using Liox (my boyfriend used them for a few weeks) - they charged me $100 to dry clean 3 bathing suits which i thought was obscene but got past it. The 3rd time I used them, they lost majority of my clothing. The Kooples, Joes Jeans, J Brands and Lululemons that were worth over $1,000 were all gone. This was majority of my wardrobe and customer service told me they would have to investigate for 2 weeks . It of course would never be found. I have a theory that they either gave it to someone else or straight up stole it based on the awful customer service and brand names. They picked up directly from my apartment and I feel that I might have been targeted after they saw where I lived. They had 0 sympathy and sent me an FAQ that they weren't responsible for my lost items after waiting for close to 5 days. This laundromat facilitated my weekly laundry chore as I dislike doing laundry. I don't have a laundry machine or dryer at home. My only job is to gather the house's dirty sheets and clothes, put it in my bags and hand it over to them. Winter jackets and delicate fabric suits I have them dry clean for me. It's a plus that they also fold my clothes and sheets for me so when I get them back, I don't need to do any of that. Do not use this company! I have been a customer of theirs for over a year, and this is the 3rd time that they have ruined something of ours. The first time, my phone got swept up in the laundry. I called immediately to let the know. Nothing was done about it and they ended up washing my phone. They returned a phone to me that was non working. I worked with an agent to track my laundry and they never once offered at least a 10% discount for the mistake. The second time, my laundry didn't show up for 2 days. I understand things happen, so I let it go. But they offered to give us a 20% discount on the next service, which brings me to today. I sent out a very large order to include 100% down comforter and 100% down pillows. Everything is picked up and arrive as expected. $222 later, I open my order to put my sheets away; and THEY PACKED MY DOWN PILLOWS WET!!!! (WHICH ARE LESS THAN 6 MONTHS OLD). THESE PILLOWS WERE VERY EXPENSIVE. I HAVE HAD IT. NOW I'VE BEEN ON HOLD FOR 30 MINUTES WITH NO ANSWER. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. read more

Their wash and fold service is good and what i love the most is that they have a mobile app, i like to take care of my errands and check the status of my things online and with Liox they give you the option to do that. Pros: The pick up and drop off period is quick. Cons: poor customer service and care for items. They dropped off my laundry with someone else's shoe in it. I called the driver back and then let customer service know. There are additional fees for shoes and an item in my laundry was missing. I asked them to ensure I wasn't overcharged for having someone else's shoe in my laundry and asked them to find my missing item. They told me they'd look into it. One week later, no follow up. I contacted them again no response, I tried calling their number, no response. Beyond that, they returned my throw blanket damaged. I bought it new in great condition. It came back with all sorts of pulls in the blanket and all the tassels where completely tangled. After painstakingly untangling everything for an hour I was able to get it in good condition but it's hardly the beautiful throw I bought. My fluffy expensive towels came back flat and crispy. Overall I couldn't recommend them. Beyond the lacking customer service, they did not properly launder my items as they were not returned in as good condition as they were given. read more
