I contacted John after receiving a quote from another vendor that I felt was quite high for power washing our row house (front, back, side, driveway, sidewalk, planters). John was responsive, friendly and communicative and came to the house within a day to provide me with an estimate that I felt was very fair. He was transparent, describing in detail what areas of my property he thought would be more of a challenge to clean thoroughly, but was confident the house would be much cleaner when he was done...and he was right. On the day of the job, John arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule and was accommodating with our alternate side / street parking situation (this being Sunnyside). He and his assistant worked quickly and the results were stunning. In particular, our driveway, sidewalks and front steps are cleaner than we've ever seen them. Flaky to schedule with and didn't do much for my home's exterior. Scheduling: I needed to follow up with these guys a couple times when they missed their time window or didn't get back in touch with a time. Effectiveness: They probably got 20% of the grime off my brick house before telling me it was not possible to get it any cleaner. I have to believe that a company that does this routinely could have given me a heads up that the "textured brick" or whatever could have made cleaning impossible. On the sections that did get clean, e.g. bluestone elements, there are uneven spray patterns indicating that they didn't attempt to do everything they could. Overpriced because I paid the agreed price for way less than the agreed upon service. Somehow they also brought a social media guy out with a whole camera rig to film themselves _not_ getting my house clean, which was pretty funny. read more

John came over, gave us a quote, said he would be coming by the following week and then never showed. I tried to contact him 4 times to find out what was going on and when we could get our windows cleaned with him and he didn't respond. We were honestly very shocked, bc when he came over and gave us the quote, he was very nice and said he was eager to do the job. Based on our experience, I'm just not sure the service is reliable if you're in a rush to get your windows done. In our case, we had an upcoming condo showing and were hoping to have the windows cleaned within 2 weeks. If John is reading this, we'd love to find out why he never showed. I requested a quote and within hours he was on site. I explained I needed power washing, and sealing but also needed some pointing repaired. He was able to do it all. Let me say he is thorough, he power washed my driveway multiple times until he was satisfied with how it looked. He then added sand, and sealed the pavers on the driveway, back yard and had already did the pointing. The price was very fair for the amount of work performed especially since I know the sealer is quite expensive. Not only do I recommend them but I have saved his info for next time. We hired him to pressure wash our backyard concrete patio, which has not been cleaned in years and was in very rough shape, with all sorts of deep staining. The end result is night and day. I had a great experience with John at APlus Power Washing; he responded quickly, came out within a day or so to give me a quote, and made an appt right away for the following week. I wish I took before pics- there was mold growing out of my deck (gross) and I never had the house power washed (moved in during Covid) the house looks great- clean, the pavement and driveway look new, and I can actually see my deck! The bottom line is this- Want a really nice crew to do a really great job at a reasonable price? Call John...That is all... We had been doing our own power-washing for the better part of 20 years...which means we do it till we get tired and say 'Good Enough'! This year we broke down and went on a Pro search...we had moss in the pavers, pollen on the second floor, concrete, PVC fence...you get the picture... John came out EXACTLY when he said he would, and went above and beyond-he even did the SIDEWALK in front of the house... Seriously, these guys were great-very conscious of pets, very detail oriented...can't say enough... Carlos was a tireless worker...between the two of them, I don't think they stopped all day.
