I am a licensed Architect in NJ and NY, and a repeat client/customer of TruCLEAN Wash. This…read moremid-Sept. day, Paul Russo and his TruClean crew came to our house and, as per his detailed itemized cost quote, performed their work. This started with cleaning all roof gutters and ensuring that all leaders and downspouts were not clogged by thoroughly flushing them. They then applied their chemical agent via spray method to kill any and all mold, mildew, algae and moss that was present on the cedar shingles. After a short period of time they used a wide spray power washing to rinse and flush all of the dead remains of that organic growth, as well as any tree sap from the roof. They also performed spot cleaning of selected areas of our stucco facades, masonry chimney and flagstone terrace where stubborn dirt had collected on the surface. They completed their work to my complete satisfaction in one day and cleaned up after themselves. All in all, once again, I can and do highly recommend TruCLEAN Wash for this type of roof cleaning, for cedar shingles, as well as slate and/or terra cotta roof tiles that become stained from mildew, mold, moss, sap and other tree droppings, as well as general air pollution. One can quickly tell that Paul and his team take pride in producing high quality workmanship to achieve the desired final results. The entire TruCLEAN Washteam was eager to accommodate, if not exceed, the expectations of a very demanding client. Alexander V. Bergo, AIA Sept. 19, 2023

Flaky to schedule with and didn't do much for my home's exterior…read more Scheduling: I needed to follow up with these guys a couple times when they missed their time window or didn't get back in touch with a time. Effectiveness: They probably got 20% of the grime off my brick house before telling me it was not possible to get it any cleaner. I have to believe that a company that does this routinely could have given me a heads up that the "textured brick" or whatever could have made cleaning impossible. On the sections that did get clean, e.g. bluestone elements, there are uneven spray patterns indicating that they didn't attempt to do everything they could. Overpriced because I paid the agreed price for way less than the agreed upon service. Somehow they also brought a social media guy out with a whole camera rig to film themselves _not_ getting my house clean, which was pretty funny.

I requested a quote and within hours he was on site. I explained I needed power washing, and…read moresealing but also needed some pointing repaired. He was able to do it all. Let me say he is thorough, he power washed my driveway multiple times until he was satisfied with how it looked. He then added sand, and sealed the pavers on the driveway, back yard and had already did the pointing. The price was very fair for the amount of work performed especially since I know the sealer is quite expensive. Not only do I recommend them but I have saved his info for next time. On top of all of this they are genuinely friendly and it's a pleasure to speak with them. I would recommend them to anyone!

The mess he left the first time caused me to call him back to "fix things". He was prompt and courteous but left an even bigger mess the second time. He ruined my brass shower fixtures with acid and a chrome bathtub piece was also destroyed. There is a bleach stain on my hall carpeting which was not there before he came the first time. There are caulking smudges all over both bathrooms (countertops, etc.). There were globs of caulking on the floor, shower curtain and tub. As I said, he's a nice guy but we would not recommend this company for caulking and re-grouting.
