    King beef, original fry

Great fast food experience. I have visited this location a few times and consistently had great experiences. On my most recent visit I had a reward in the app and went in to redeem it and have a meal. Service was fast and friendly. The cashier immediately asked if I had the app/rewards and used my phone number to access my account and apply the reward. I was ordering something different than my "usual" and the employee was helpful in explaining the difference in the sized of roast beef sandwiches. I ordered the King Beef - worth it for the extra roast beef, and fries. I ended up splurging on a mini dip cone when I left. These are well worth the price and always delicious! This location is always clean with employees taking care of the dining area and the customers.

Dined in for a late lunch. Both of us ordered the large original roast beef meal with cheddar on the side with extra seasoning on the sandwich. Every bite was delicious. First time dining in for him- sauces were incredible for different flavors in each bite. The workers were on it, polite, and prompt. The store was clean and we finished every bite.

Service was excellent and extremely friendly staff! The place was cute and decked out in Christmas decor :) We have always enjoyed Lion Choice and sandwiches were good - beef was warm and tasty, but the cold rolls didn't do much for me. Will warn ya to bring a coat if you dine in, place is a little chilly in the mornings...although it was 10:30am

This was our first stop when we got into St. Louis. My husband and his family used to come here all the time so of course we had to introduce the kids to it. We opted to drive through since both kids were sleeping so I can't speak to the inside, but the outside is a nice clean white wash brick with a giant red loins choice signage. We ordered the OG roast beef sandwiches, fries, and sweet teas all around. The meat is super seasoned packed with lots of flavor. I will say when we came here almost 10 years ago. The serving sizes were much larger, but even still today. It's still a good big meal. The kids said it was the best "steak" they've ever had. Probably keep the traditional live of stopping by anytime we come through for fast food. It's pretty yummy.

I've never been to nor heard of Lion's Choice before. I spotted the sign across from the hotel and stopped in for a quick lunch. I ordered the king roast beef. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The meal was prepared before I could pour my diet coke at the drink machine. The first thing I noticed was that the roast beef was fresh, but very rare. I don't like my meat rare and usually request medium well, but I understand the proper preparation of roast beef. The meat tasted good and was a little too salty. The size of the sandwich was small when comparing to a large roast beef at Arby's. The fries were fries, nothing special. I liked the various self-serve dipping sauces ranging from ketchup, horseradish, to tangy BBQ. The meal was $10.25 which included a large drink. How is Lion's Choice compared to Arbys? I prefer Arby's by a small margin.

While the Au Jus and horseradish sauce are perfectly acceptable, my preference is to apply a generous amount of honey mustard (ask for at least 2x honey mustards per large sandwich).

The restaurant itself is cozy and simple, but don't let the size fool you--this place is focused on serving very good food. The highlight of the visit was the soup dumplings, which arrived in a bamboo steamer basket. The dumplings were tender and delicate, and each one was filled with rich consommé (soup) and flavorful meat. When you bite into them, be careful because the dumplings are full of hot broth that bursts out. The soup inside was packed with flavor and made the dumplings stand out. The sandwiches were also excellent. Whether you choose the pork or the beef, the bread was perfectly crunchy and the meat inside was very flavorful. It made for a great balance of texture with the crispy bread and tender meat. Another dish that really stood out was the mashed cucumber salad with hot pepper oil. It was fresh, slightly spicy, and very refreshing alongside the dumplings and sandwiches. Overall, Fan's Soup Dumplings feels like a hidden gem in St. Charles. It's a small restaurant that focuses on doing a few dishes very well, and the quality of the food really shows. Overall: A small but very good restaurant serving authentic soup dumplings, excellent sandwiches, and flavorful sides. If you are in St. Charles and enjoy dumplings or Asian cuisine, it is definitely worth a visit.

They had some calming music playing and the dining area was clean and serene, as I remembered from before. I placed my order at the register and took notice the large kitchen window which could allow you to watch them handmake your dumplings if you so chose--that's right, everything is made by hand, IN HOUSE! Soup dumplings are their specialty, which I tried in the past--they are delicious, and I don't know of many places that offer them in the STL/St Charles areas. That said, I tried the chili oil wontons and shrimp dumplings this time. I could probably skip the shrimp next visit, but the chili oil wontons are TO DIE FOR. DO NOT SKIP THEM!! I chose pork as my filling, but they offer beef and chicken as well. For a VERY reasonable price, you get enough in one order to easily have a pretty solid lunch. They are tender and the filling ratio is spot on. The chili oil broth could stand on its own, in my opinion. It isn't overly spicy, but they offer chili crisp at your table, which I happily added to up my spice level. Do yourself a favor and try them, you won't be disappointed. I will continue to eat my way through their menu undoubtedly, but these will be a MUST for every single visit, in my book!
