It's a great restaurant! Stopped in for a Sunday brunch with friends. The food was fresh and HOT! With a buffet-type restaurant, there's typically not much "table service," but the server was tentative and promptly cleared any plates. They refilled beverages and asked if we needed anything! The selections are abundant... from Salad to Sushi and even a Mongolian grill... to sweet treats, ice cream, and cookies! Prices are really great... so that's a plus too! When we arrived, there were only a few people seated, but by the time we left, the place was packed with happy people, filling their bellies with all the incredible selections Lin's had to offer. There's a positive vibe (you can always tell), and we felt welcomed to be there. I even overheard people saying how much they loved this place; I agree... we will be back. Uggggh, where do I begin?? I really, truly hate leaving bad reviews, but in order to educate my fellow foodies, I feel compelled to do so. I used to enjoy many lunches here when I worked nearby years ago, and boy has this restaurant changed and not in a good way. The selections are what you would usually expect at any Chinese buffet, nothing remarkable or memorable. The egg rolls were full of oil, completely disgusting. All of their shrimp dishes contained prawns that are not deveined, gross! The few items that looked edible were either cold or lukewarm. Everything offered on the buffet seemed like it was cooked the day before. The wontons in the wonton soup were pasty and lacked any flavor, and the broth had oil floating on top. Most of the sauces had a skin on them, indicating they have been sitting out for a while. Unfortunately this establishment won't be seeing me anymore. It's that bad. So, caveat emptor! There was a variety of dishes and I mostly liked them but after I left the place I got a huge tummy ache and I knew it was the food. I have a pretty tolerant stomach but this place really broke me. Food was great! (Service was iffy, will speak on that in a moment) The food tasted so good. Reminded me of my favorite Chinese buffet from back home that shut down many many years ago. Since then I've been searching for one that even remotely meets the standards it set. And I'm happy to say I found it! Fresh food. Hot food. Flavorful food. Wide variety of food. Yes, amazing. 10/10 for food. Service was questionable. It wasn't very busy at the time we went. Maybe 6 tables max. We ordered our drinks when brought to our table - per usual, and it took about 8 minutes for 2 sodas to come out. No big deal, we were getting food anyway. But then halfway through our meal we needed a refill and 3 different people walked right past us. I even smiled and waved for someone to come over to us and they walked away. Someone came to pick up an empty plate from the person I was eating with and I asked for a refill and they never brought it. Finally the same woman came back 5 minutes later asking if I wanted a refill. So I went a good 10 minutes with no drink. Then they brought our check and from what we noticed from everyone else, we put our card down and they grab it and bring the receipt. That didn't happen. We waited another 10 minutes for someone to come grab our check & card and we just kept getting ignored. They walked past us again and again. Even after we signaled for them. At one point I saw 3 people just standing around talking by the cash registers while we had been sitting there waiting and waiting. Finally we gave up and decided to bring it to the front where I can only assume the manager/man in charge was up there because our waitress tried to intercept us and stop us from going up there but we politely walked past her and handed him the check. We saw him look at the woman when he saw she was the server and she stood there looking... embarrassed? We paid and he asked how the service was. I personally wasn't going to say anything negative but the person I was with raved about the food but said the service could have been better. Anyway, like I said, they weren't even halfway full at the time and were frequently just standing around, yet we had to wait over 10 min for a refill and over 10 min (before giving up) to pay for our food. BUT THE FOOD IS AMAZING. So I'll be back anyway lol. Maybe it was a bad day. I don't know. But food that good in a nice, quiet, beautiful Asian buffet style restaurant doesn't come around often, so I'll put up with slow service for great food. read more

We went on a Thursday evening and have been a couple times. I usually don't tip at buffets unless the service is exceptional As I was paying my bill, the server harassed me for a tip. I was taken aback by the rudeness and said "No " then ushered my family. Absolutely worst service!!!! first of all they charged us $16.99 per person saying that Friday and Saturday that's the price that's stupid the price is absolutely ridiculous! Second of all we said "hello" to the waitress and she ignored us but when she brought the ticket she stood there saying that we need to tip her more WHY!!?!! Beware of the price change! The sign on the door lists the price for the dinner buffet $13.49-$14.49 depending on the day. When we got the check, we were surprised to see that that charged us $16.49 per person. When I asked them about it, they pointed to a piece of paper taped to the window. In tiny print at the bottom, it said Friday and Saturday buffet $16.49. I wouldn't have been so upset if the food had been good, but it was pretty bad. Had an early dinner here the other day. This place is humongous! Quiet, clean and the ambiance is good. Lots of parking. Good location, too. They have six food stations including their Hibachi Grill. Very organize for a buffet restaurant this size. The food is ok, nothing fancy. Just the typical Chinese Buffet entrees. The only special is their seafood buffet dinner with blue crabs, crawfish, shrimps, oysters and green mussels. Serving staff are attentive and courteous. $$ Yelp code is spot on. Walked in and I saw boxes and filthy fish tanks. Food not flavorful at all crawfish the texture of rubber. They give you a fork and napkin. The orange chicken was 99% sauce and 1% chicken, I do not recommend eating here for a Chinese buffet. Unless you like fruit bc they had a variety of food choices aside with pudding and jello. The floors in the area of the buffet are slippery. The tables are wet and sticky when served. The icecream machine was a mess, but the treats for the icecream were delicious; enjoy them. I definitely don't recommend eating here if you want something greasy and oily then there you go. No Hate to them, they are really sweet and always taking the plates from your table. The power had knocked out there serving tables where they keep the food hot for the buffet. But they were still open and they were serving food off of the buffet line and you said could eat the buffet but you have to choose what you wanted off the menu that they had and when the food came out everything was nice and hot everything still taste the same and the customer service was excellent the waiters were and check out on all the customers that they were waiting on in a timely manner. We came for Sunday lunch buffet and we caught it at a prime time moment. All the stations were full with fresh made dishes. There was fried blue crabs, which tasted a bit dry. Otherwise, buffet entrées were commonly familiar and tasted good, hot and fresh. Sushi was good too. The place was clean and organized during our visit. We were in a side room with a large party group so service was sparse. I never got my water glass refilled. This place is good for groups and families. read more

Don't go there unless you want bad service and then get harassed about leaving a big tip. When I walked in, I greeted the hostess and she didn't greet back but I ignored it. I went in and got my food. My water was never refilled. My boyfriend still decided to leave a 10% tip even tho all she did was bring us 1 water. She looks at the ticket and starts harassing us about leaving more. I told her tip is suggested not mandatory. I'm also a server at a restaurant where I actually have to take orders and bring out food to the table, and I NEVER demand a tip. I don't even give a care that it's not authentic and that my grandmother (RIP) would cry seeing me eat the super awesome almond cookie with the froyo. For a Chinese buffet, I considered it decent actually. What I had was semi-fresh and that made me happy because I was starving. Unfortunately, they didn't have the one Chinese buffet classic that is one of the few things that I actually enjoy, the chicken and vegetables in white sauce. It's one of the few things that's lighter and not drenched in syrup. I seriously don't taste or know the difference between, general tso's chicken, orange chicken, honey chicken and sesame chicken. I don't care that's it's not authentic, but they seriously all taste the same to me. The best thing for someone's who's not going straight towards the french fries and apple pie (just like back in the old country) is the steamed fish. This place upcharged me to $21.99 for a mother's day dinner buffet!!!!! The regular dinner buffet was $13.99. I was astounded. The food was quite mediocre. Nothing was very hot except for the soups. There was zero signage stating that there was an upcharge for Mother's Day. I wouldn't return because of the lackluster food, but this unforeseeable upcharge is very confusing and maddening. There wasn't clean silverware out (had to wait forever to get that), and the whole experience was not a pleasant one.
