The Christian music playing over their sound system relaxes me often to the point I find myself singing hymnals in the middle of the store. This location recently went through a clean-up and reset, so the store looks great. I enjoy walking each aisle to see new inventory. My favorite are the last several aisles flush with seasonal items and decor. The secret to shopping here is to wait until whole categories of items go on sale. Shop smartly and you'll save yourself upwards of 50% off regular prices. Today at 10:55 AM Friday, October 10, I experienced some of the worst "customer service" I've ever received. The "manager" seemed to not care that customers were waiting to be served as he socialized with the cashiers. My cashier never greeted me in any way. When I asked her how her day was going she just mumbled something in response. I purchased several sparkly items for Christmas. She just laid them all before me on the counter and expected me to carry them out in my arms. In times past the cashiers would ask if I needed a bag, and if I needed anything wrapped. When I asked her if she was going to bag my items, she said "oh you want me to bag them for you? You're supposed to ask for that". She started to cram some glass items down inside the bag with scratchy things. I asked if they could be wrapped and put in another bag. She said "that bag will cost you another nine cents". Then she refused to give me my receipt until I paid my nine cents for said bag. I didn't have nine cents cash. But fortunately, the lady behind me did. The cashier was then rude to the lady behind me making sure she paid the nine cents before I got my receipt. I may have to find another hobby lobby to shop at. The customer service at this one seems to have died. Very disappointing.

Although not in service at the time of writing, there is a salon inside where you could get your hair done accompanied by a drink (or two!) Loads of unique vendors with classic toys, handmade jewelry, statues, with knickknacks and bric-a-brac galore. Definitely stop by, meet some friendly faces, grab a cocktail, take some pictures, and leave with a new treasure to decorate your home. Very fun place!

It's kinda like a Cracker Barrel store, but with just a smidge of cottagecore, instead of the heaps you find at CB. This store is located in the middle of a community, and by that I mean it's a cute little retail store surrounded by residents. Were looking for a reclining loveseat for our master bedroom. She replies with a snarky undertone, "Oh, so you don't want to spend very much?". We never mentioned our budget. What an interesting assumption. She shows us the one they have and informs us that we can "sit on it, mess around with it...but don't break anything." Don't break anything??? Is this a fat joke, cause we're heavy set? Insinuating that we're immature and don't know how to act in a furniture store? Which one? We were insulted twice within a 5 min interaction. Ouch.
