    J. crew jeans I found here that fit great on me and look good and barely used.

I purchased some awesome finds here as pictured, but the lady who rung me up was just not happy to work that day. She came off a bit disgusted to help me or something... Maybe that wasn't even the case, but customer service is a real thing. But it's not here. I wish I could rate 5 stars, this place is a hidden gem. Although service sucked when I visited, I'm glad I found this place and would still recommend it nonetheless.

Super intense Lady GaGa-ish heels! Bought'em for a friend. $17 steal.

If you come in with the intent or mindset of buying something cheap from Goodwill, stop right there. Though, you can find non-expensive or "reasonably priced" items from this store, it's first and foremost a higher-end boutique (one you could easily find in Seattle) (think Psychic Sisters or Buffalo Exchange prices). Got it? Proceed! :) The store is pretty small for the wide selection that they carry, but doesn't feel super claustrophobic. I hardly make my way to the end of the store, though, that's where their children's clothes & toy area is located. I also have never visited their dressing rooms to the right of the store, either. They have an okay selection of books, awesome looking housewares, interesting assortment of shoes (easier to find shoes if you have a smaller foot, per usual). They have a pretty cute and excellent variety of jackets, skirts, and shirts. In that order, according to their awesomeness levels. Amazing finds: 1. Lots of leather jackets! 2. Mug with a gold "brass" knuckles handle. 3. Lady GaGa-esque heels. 4. Cute vintage skirts.

I've shopped secondhand for decades, and paying a little more for not having to weed through defective or lesser quality items is worth it!

But considering Mother Earth falls victim to inhabitants of materialism and sadly a disposable society, my views have changed. I inquired about Value Village's donation process which aligned with my views. After a month on the sales floor, items are bundled and shipped to third world countries. My family has been sponsoring a Kenyan family and it's the right thing to do even if we eat cheap ramen to make it happen. The manager was super nice, explaining available rewards as well as discounts days! I felt the prices were fair, and an abundance of treasures awaited to find new homes. Great place to upcycle.

The Eagles #21 has history dating 100 years- through the beginning of the club's early founding, it's heyday in the 40's and 50's, and through it's slight decline in the 80's and 90's. Since then it has gone through numerous improvements to make it one of the best spots for entertainment and leisure. Decades of live events throughout the 4-level building have brought many different people together from all over the Oly area, and the world. Upstairs is the huge Eagles Grand Ballroom that is used for weekly dances and planned events such as weddings, proms, and recitals. There are performance art classes also available for anyone wanting to learn a type of dance, or drum. In the bottom level of the building is the E-mart. The Eagles houses a thrift store full to the brim of second-hand goods. From designer labeled clothing, to electronics, old VHS and DVDs, furniture, and from dishes and housewares to books and toys. Of course, the ground level is the member's lounge. Boasting the only bar in downtown Olympia to have the NFL ticket, the clubhouse can get any NFL game on it's six flat-screen TVs and projector. The Eagles is also home to the official Brown's Backers football club who meet for every Cleveland Brown game. And the best spot to watch all your Sounders, Mariners, and Seahawks games. Not a football fan? All throughout the week there are daily drink specials (cheapest in town), live music, karaoke, free pool and foosball, pull tabs, a stage and a dance floor and a jukebox, video games, potlucks, and great people enjoying the company at the bar. It is a member's only club, however. Joining is simple. There are yearly dues to being a member, and of course abiding by club rules and aerie bylaws. But they are always accepting more members to join and be a part of a great community of fundraisers who love to party!

I was shocked, and turned to him and said "sir, you just touched my butt". He replied with "I know, I was trying to get by you". First of all, I am by no means a big girl. I'm about 5'6, size 4, and not taking up enough space for him to need to even come close to touching me to get by. Secondly, this man was probably 6'2 and skinny. He did what he did intentionally. I called him out after he said that to me, and said loudly "this strange man just grabbed my a**!" He came towards me aggressively, and at that point my husband, who'd been several aisles away, had come to see what was happening. The weirdo who grabbed me started to back up the second there was another man involved, and my husband told him something along the lines of he needs to keep his hands to himself. The man told my husband to suck his you know what, and then called me the B word. Up to this point, Goodwill as a business had nothing to do with what that pervert was up to. A worker at the store (a lady who looked to be early thirties at most, with auburn hair and fair skin) approached and asked if everything was alright, and I told her exactly what happened. I asked her if they were going to have the man leave, and was told they couldn't do that or they might get sued . I told her that wasn't right- a man had just assaulted me, and he didn't get any repercussions?? She said, well he walked away so just try to stay away from him. She refused to ask him to leave because "I didn't actually see him grab your butt, but I believe you". So, if you want to go sexually assault people with zero consequences, head to the Olympia goodwill. They'll let you do whatever, as long as you walk away from whoever you assaulted. And, they'll make your victim feel like they're in the wrong, guaranteeing they'll leave and you can continue through life, groping strangers consequence free. Goodwill doesn't care about the safety of their customers, especially women.
