The coffee is consistently excellent, and it's often my first stop when I'm downtown. Whether I'm grabbing a drink to go or taking a few minutes to browse, the experience is always enjoyable. The shop itself is full of thoughtfully curated Pacific Northwest gifts, locally made products, home goods, and unique treasures that make perfect gifts for others or yourself. I love that I can almost always find something special that I haven't seen anywhere else. What really makes Ember Goods stand out is the people. The staff are friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They create an atmosphere that feels warm and inviting from the moment you walk through the door. On top of all that, the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and uniqueness of the items they carry. It's the perfect place to find a meaningful gift, support local makers, and enjoy an amazing cup of coffee at the same time. Downtown Olympia wouldn't be the same without Ember Goods. Highly recommended!

All in all will stop by and try their coffee as well but for now a fan of their chai latte..

It had reflection of a Seattle store, Archie Mcphie. I don't know If the two are related, but I don't know if Archie even exists anymore. I used to do their parking lot sale, but when they ended it 15 years ago, I stopped shopping there as that was the only way to pay a reasonable price for items imported in bulk from China. A lot of displays and boxes here were empty, I don't know if they had a holiday run or are just bad at restocking, but I reached for a few things that just were there. They had some cool Olympia based items and a fair amount of pop culture and although not cheap, the pricing was fair and based on the thrift shops we visited, the kind of stuff that holds our attention was cheaper here than it was second hand in other places. At the end of the day, there was nothing here we had to have so we left empty handed. Every city needs a store like this. If merch was stocked , we certainly would have bought something.

Wow!! So many LEGOs! I visited here with my 13 yr old son, after a recommendation from one of his…read moreteachers, to check out if it's as good as it sounds. My kiddo loves LEGOs and will build any set immediately, when gifted to him. We have a little reward incentive in our home that if he reaches a certain number of points from completing chores, he will get a LEGO set from us. He wanted to stop by here ASAP afterwards lol. Parking is super tight and tricky. Entering the parking lot to get to the front of the store, you have to turn uphill and it's one-way parking so I did not have an easy time figuring out how to exit.. Despite the tiny parking lot, the store itself is amazing! There are sets built and displayed with affordable prices for many of them, definitely cheaper than the official LEGO store. Noticed plenty that were under $200 and great value for the sets you're getting. Of course, there are nicer and bigger sets but you don't have to go big. You can still go home with something you like and come back another time because they offer stamp cards! You get 10% off your next purchase after spending $100 at the store. Obviously not a big discount but hey, something is better than nothing, especially if you plan to return for more LEGOs. We decided upon a moderately sized Mario Cart two-piece set of Boo and Wario in their go-carts which was only about $54. Not bad, imo! The staff was nice and asked if we were looking for anything specific when we entered but let us be when we told them we were just browsing. We got their attention when we were ready to check out. The employee that helped us did strike up friendly conversation with my son, which made our interaction not so awkward, since the store was fairly quiet and almost empty at 3:45PM on a Wednesday. Plenty of legos, good service, great bang for your buck. Only thing to dislike would be the parking lol we will still be back.

The place has a solid selection of new and used sets as well as some really cool custom builds! The iron throne is probably the favorite custom I've ever seen! They've got a good trending to great selection of mini figs including tons of Star Wars and older figurines. I found a number of doctor related ones for the ole collection as well! The sets ranged from some cool older sets that were in original boxes to newer sets that ranged in price from retail to a good deal! I picked up the Great Wall architecture a set for less than anyone online and got to talk legos with some guys is legit hang out with! The stock rotates quickly so if you're in the area, it pays to check in frequent-ish. If you love legos or have kids that enjoy them, this is your spot!

Great Vintage With Incredible Retro-Style!…read more SITREP We were looking for pizza and instead initially wandered into this store only to find some awesome retro-dresses! THE SETUP My galpal Jenner & I were on the way back to Central Washington (after she picked me up at SEATAC), and on our way through Olympia, we got struck with massive hunger cravings for Pizza. As we headed to La Gitana, HOT TODDY crossed out path (or rather, we crossed IT'S path) and we had to wander inside of it once we were *blinded by the light* of all it's colors inside! STYLES & DESIGNS! We were inside a virtual smorgasbord of crazy fabrics & designs! I played guard to the dressing room while Jenner tried on some awesome dresses. I also foraged around for some smaller, more palatable items for a guy to wear and found some pretty cool jackets and socks. THE LOWDOWN After grabbing a couple of dresses, we were ready to go and find our pizza stop (which we did since it was almost next door). Missions Accomplished!

Today I walked in, a white Oly couple a few steps ahead of me. The clerk completely ignored them, but as soon as she saw me she RUSHED out from behind the counter in a panic as if to block my entry, saying "CAN I HELP YOU" in a stressed tone. She only relaxed when she saw my shopping bag from Radiance. I can't think of what would cause such a reaction, except that I am visibly brown. I'd hate to think that someone at such a sweet staple of downtown was racially profiling me. All in all it left a sour taste in my mouth. In over 10 years, I've never been treated this way here.
