We did a retirement cocktail party and everyone enjoyed themselves. There was such an array of delious eats to choose from. The most difficult task was not to fill up on each plate that was served because the next round would be even better. A huge varity of dishes that encompassed land, sea, and air. From fresh tuna to filet mignon to creative salads packed with protein, and a dessert display that GLPs would run from. Brian and his staff went over and beyond to make our experience special. From the initial conversation till the every end, this was a stress free endeavor. The attention to detail was both professional and personal. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts North Tavern.

The restaurant was very busy so Carol the hostess/ owner suggested we have a drink at the bar. The drinks were delicious. Carol mentioned we could have dinner at the bar if that was our preference. We ordered salads which were exceptional and the chicken special for the evening. The presentation and food was simply fantastic. Carol offered us limonchello on the house as an after dinner drink. Just a wonderful evening thanks to Carol and North Tavern.

We were told that Watermark was five minutes away, and people liked it. We verified that in Yelp, and sure enough, let's go. This is not the sort of place you'd find by accident - on a minor coastal road and pretty much off by itself. The parking lot was so packed that we had to give up on it and park on the road. We were told that there would be a slight delay for a table, but seeing the enthusiastic crowd, we figured it might be worth it. It was. We got a really great roomy table, and our server was a gem. Looking back over the reviews here, we got their star quarterback in Connor, who sat down at a spare chair and talked to us about what to eat. Within two minutes, we were old friends. I'm a big fan of originality in menus, and they had it to spare. I ended up with the fried chicken sandwich and Donna had the Left Coast sandwich. Ham turkey and swiss on crainberry bread. They were both delicious and too much for one sitting. Connor even offered to wrap my mayo. The vibe was enthusiastic but not horribly loud, the food was unifromly great and the service was superior. We now have a go-to place in the Riverhead area.

My friend's chicken sandwich was dry and nothing special. My crab cake sandwich had absolutely NO crab in it. None at all. It was a fried bread patty. I could not eat it. I asked for water because we were not given any and we never got it. I even watched the server fill her personal water bottle right in front of us. This place is in need of major improvements. Avoid

Sauce was ehh IMO.I work in elementary school and it tasted like the cafeteria pizza. Its a great spot to grab a happy hour drink. Will be back for that. But never ordering a pizza again. What a disappointment. I've been coming here for years. Other apps have been good. Service was ok. Bartenders were clearly overwhelmed. There was a cash register issue, which detracted from serving patrons Probably just a bad day.

It did take the owner some time to make all the gyros for four of us, but the turnout was so delicious! The homemade hummus is so smooth and tasty. It melts instantly in my mouth. The lamb gyro I got was such a great portion, I wasn't hungry until late night. The amount of ingredients in the gyro besides the lamb, cucumbers, olives, and celeries, makes it incredibly flavorful. Nothing felt heavy or over-processed, just clean, nourishing food that actually makes you feel good after eating. What really stood out, though, was the owner's genuine care for customers. He went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying everything and even offered us a taste of his freshly made soup -- which was amazing and such a thoughtful touch. That kind of hospitality is rare and speaks volumes about the heart behind this place. It's so important to support small businesses like this that are clearly built on passion, integrity, and community. Gourmelos is doing it right, and I'll absolutely be back.

Our waitress was wonderful and greeted us and gave us a menu for Restaurant week as well as the regular menu. The dining room was cozy and the decorations at the entrance were beautiful. We started with calamari from the regular menu, as well as chicken pot pie rolls with cranberry sauce and baked clams from the restaurant week menu. Then for my entrée, I got the flat iron steak with gorogonzola and chimichurri sauce, and my friend got the catch of the day which was a mahi-mahi. We both really enjoyed our meals and had a lot of leftovers. I liked the steamed veggies and mashed potatoes that my steak came with and she really enjoyed the fish then when we got to the end, we each got to pick a dessert and we tried the cappuccino mousse chocolate cake, as well as the chocolate ice cream. Then on the back of the receipt, there's a stamp for 10% off to purchase pies at the window outside from their sister location, NoFo Pot Pies. We had a great time here and service was excellent. I am looking forward to our next visit.
