Decided to come to Lindens after some research and great pulsed deal. This was place is pretty far in the west side and has two entrances based off of you go through the hotel or their actual entrance. The place has a few tables busy but nothing over whelming at the time. Was able to sit promptly and was serviced attentively throughout the entire meal. The food and drinks were good, nothing out the norm but did the job on for a Saturday brunch.

This place was surprisingly good!! Was looking for a spot to meet friends after work and we came here for happy hour but loved all the food. Lots of vegan and gluten free options. Staff was so fun and friendly!

Pricy but worth it. The size of the sandwiches are hugeee. The service was nice and attentive.

Really yummy food and good service for my 3rd time here! The margarita was good too, it honestly could have been even spicier.

I have been to the restaurant. About four different times now. Each time has only been a great experience. The staff is incredibly helpful with recommendations about items on the menu and well versed on them. The restaurant can be either a bit quiet or loud. Depending on the crowd. That's there. But there's always kind of relaxing music in the background. The food is absolutely delicious. I would call it mostly American with a twist. I would definitely recommend for anyone's to check this place out.

The best rolls I've ever had in my life. I still think about these bread rolls. The food was amazing (although burgers took a while to come out) and the staff is really accommodating. I didn't like one of my drinks so they returned it and gave me a new one without hesitation. It felt like everyone catered to us which was very sweet and the place is just so open and spacious. Great vibes all around!

I had such an incredible experience at Lindens! Fran, the bartender/mixologist, was absolutely amazing -- so patient and thoughtful in helping me choose a drink. I went with the Shishito Julep, and it was perfect. The food was out of this world. The sausage breakfast sandwich, citrus salad, and summer carrot ravioli were all phenomenal -- the ravioli especially was the perfect balance of savory, herby, buttery, silken goodness with that touch of pancetta. And you must try the fresh-baked bread loaf with herb butter... it's heavenly. The vibe here is just as great as the food: farm-to-table freshness, a warm atmosphere, and staff that feel friendly in a way that's almost familiar, like you've known them forever. Can't wait to come back.

The guy who greeted us wasn't sure when we would be able to get seated. So we checked out the drink menu in the waiting area. Then he comes back and says he will seat us right away. That was fantastic of him! We had some good drinks....I believe mine was the strawberry old fashioned. I normally don't like strawberry drinks but this was so delicious! The hangar steak was also wonderful! The place was lovely. I wish it had not been raining because the outside patio looked so inviting! Would definitely eat here again if in NYC!

    East vs West Oysters

I mean... it's okay. Spicy sausage pizza I did NOT like. The flavor is not what you would typically expect from a staple like this. Oysters and butternut raviolis were good. Peach creme brûlée was fire . Pricing is what you'd expect for the most part.

We normally do not frequent hotel restaurants as the menu is either limited or not of top quality. This is NOT the case for Lindens. A must go for atmosphere, service, and quality. Whether a date, a business meeting or a large group fun-time out, this place is recommended. It's not on a main street and out of the way from other business....hidden on a side street.

I needed to book Sunday brunch for a large group of 9, including 2 small children and 1 dog, 2 weeks out. During my search, I came across many restaurants with street side outdoor seating, which I am not a fan of, but would take it if there were no other options. Then, I stumbled upon Linden's. Linden's is part of the Arlo Hotel and offers indoor and outdoor dining. Their outdoor dining space is a gorgeous and ENCLOSED courtyard with an urban chic feel to it. It was perfect for our group. I couldn't believe OpenTable had the availability for my large group. It was too good to be true. I locked down the reservation immediately. Then, I reached out to Linden's via email and Instagram to confirm my booking. They were super responsive. Within the hour, Alison responded back to me through email and Instagram confirming they would be able to accommodate my group. I was ecstatic. On the day of the brunch, more than half of us were running 30 minutes to an hour late. I called Linden's to let them know, and they were so cool about it. Finally, when everybody arrived, we ordered our foods with our server, who was incredibly nice and accommodating. Despite the small brunch menu, the food was delicious. My polenta & mushroom dish was so good, I would totally get it again. Everybody else either had the 3-egg omelet or one of the breakfast sandwiches. I did not try the breakfast sandwiches but had some omelet. GET THE POLENTA & MUSHROOM. Sunny side up egg on top of a creamy polenta, with roasted mushrooms that were just exquisite. The whole dish was perfection. Our table also had 3 orders of the mixed berry salad. It seemed like it was a popular item, and I totally get why. The berries were fresh. The blackberries were plump and juicy, and every single one was surprisingly unbruised. I did not see a drinks menu, but Linden's has a full bar, so feel free to order any drink you want. My husband had an espresso martini, which he enjoyed. With the enclosed courtyard, the 2 restless small children were able to walk around, never leaving our sight, while the grown-ups chatted. Our group had a lovely brunch that lasted over 2 hours. We took our time, and no one rushed us. Linden's, you were absolutely wonderful to us. I would be back in a heartbeat.

Lindens is a great spacious easy choice for a big group dinner. There were no issues with making the reservation for a Friday evening. The service was attentive and very friendly. The cocktail menu was diverse. We went a little over board with ordering apps but we liked what we tried! The Parker house rolls, and French fries really hit the spot. Crispy fennel pita, margherita pizza, and green salad were good but nothing amazing. Nothing really mind blowing but very good spot for a nice and easy dinner and drinks.

The front part where you first walk in is the bar area with some tables. This restaurant is on the darker side and brings you back in time. Once you walk in further that is where the main dinning room is. This is also on the darker side as you can maybe tell by my photos. The wall paper and art around the restaurant is cool and there are some monkey statues around the restaurant. I was seated in a corner table in a booth area that seemed to be for at least 2-3 people. I thought for sure they would seat me at the bar area. I had a wonderful waitress whose name I think was Taylor but I could be wrong. I ordered the Monkey bread to start off with. It's a very buttery bread with truffle and parm cheese on top. I have alot of allergies and I was searching online if I could even have truffles as I have a nut allergy. So, I asked the waitress and she said she had never heard this. But, she came back to me and told me that White truffle grows near or like over where Almonds grow from but that, they don't use white truffle so I was all good. Well, this was super nice of her to check for me. I had no idea she was going to do this. She said the restaurant has strict protocols when it comes to food allergies. I then got for my main dish the double cheese burger with onions and pickles. To drink I had the cucumber martini. WOW everything was pretty darn good!! I passed on dessert. If you get a chance or a reservation pops up in your resy to go, even if it is for lunch..I highly say go for it.

Our server was…read moreincredibly warm, upbeat, and full of energy--one of those people who genuinely elevates a meal. I only wish I could remember her name because she deserves the recognition. We started with drinks, and mine ended up being a surprise standout. I ordered the coconut margarita, slightly hesitant since I'm not usually a margarita fan--but it completely won me over. It struck a perfect balance and leaned just enough into the coconut to make it feel unique without being overpowering. My sister-in-law, who's pregnant, had a non-alcoholic Ritual margarita and loved it, noting how convincingly it mimicked the real thing. Since we were sharing, we got to try a good mix of the menu. The monkey bread came first--definitely a splurge at $34, but it's one of those fun, indulgent starters that's worth ordering at least once. While I wouldn't call it the best bread I've ever had, I also wouldn't change anything about it. The crab rangoon was another highlight. Having it made with real crab made a noticeable difference, and the dipping sauces complemented it really well. It felt like a more elevated take on something familiar. For mains, the French dip was a hit. The meat was incredibly tender, the bread had that ideal crusty exterior, and the au jus was packed with flavor--I was very glad I ordered extra. It pulled the whole dish together. We also tried the smoked whitefish Caesar, which was the only dish that didn't quite land for me. It was a well-made, fresh salad, but the smoked fish flavor was a bit overpowering and took over the balance of the dish. Even though we were too full for dessert, the restaurant surprised us with a scoop of strawberry ice cream with chocolate sauce to celebrate my sister-in-law's babymoon. It ended up being one of the most memorable bites of the meal--we're still talking about how good that ice cream was. We arrived right at 11:45, and by the time we left, the place was absolutely buzzing. It's clearly a popular spot, and for good reason. Between the lively atmosphere, strong service, and well-executed food, I'd highly recommend making a reservation if you can.

Other dishes were still phenomenal, including the Japanese sweet potatoes and the steak al limone, cooked to a perfect medium rare. Their take on a tiramisu was a delightful end to our meal. It had just the right amount of sweetness, and the crunchy wafer layers added a nice crispy texture. Reservations definitely require some planning since they open up seven days in advance. Perfect for a date night or a special occasion. Service was stellar.
