I waited nearly six hours just to have my new tires installed. During that time, it became obvious that the employee at the front kept pushing my appointment back to prioritize customers who purchased tires directly from their shop. To make matters worse, my car has a staggered tire setup, and the technician incorrectly installed one of the rear tires on the front. That's a basic mistake that should never happen, especially when working on a staggered setup. I absolutely do not recommend this shop. The poor customer service, excessive wait time, and careless installation were unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.

After being turned down by three different chain tire branches AND the dealership where I bought the car - all of whom were far too booked up to offer assistance - a local auto parts place suggested JE Wheels. I pulled in without an appointment, and Eddie (the manager) offered to help right away! Not only did he have his crew fix it in 45 minutes, they only charged me $30 (it would have been free if I bought the tires from them). I also inquired about a recommended quiet all-season set of tires, and Eddie recommended a brand and his reasoning for it, giving the price per tire plus $25 install fee - which includes free rotation, flat fixes, etc. - and a 30 day return policy (for credit to another set)! I checked just to see what Amazon would charge for the tires and it was the same price! Plus you support a local business with good people. Well worth checking them out, thanks guys!

The kind person there filled up the tire and suggested that I go to Omar's tires on N 45th Street. $50 to repair a worthless tire. I should have gone to Les Schwab instead. They fix flat tires and their reputation is spotless. Plus prices are very reasonable, even free sometimes. Today I took my brother in law's car to the Ballard Les Schwab to have his brakes checked. An unusual rumbling noise was coming from one of the wheels. He doesn't speak English so I did the talking. They checked the brakes but didn't find any problem with the brakes and recommended I take it to the dealer to check the hybrid system and/or the roller bars. It's been about six months. I probably should have written this long ago but decided to wait to…read moreprove the work. I'm happy to say that things are great! I highly recommend this place and will return when I need to. I own a 1998 4Runner that originally lived in Alaska so it was rusty when I got it. The auxiliary cross member to the frame that supports the rear axle trailing arms (rear shocks and differential), gas tank shield and some other supports had rusted off the frame. The rear axle and these components were loose and floating. I called several notable shops from Port Angeles to Bellevue. None of them would take on the work. I work on my cars but there's no way I could have done this myself. When they described how they were going to install the replacement cross member, I thought it was creative and efficient. They also went beyond just making the repair by applying rust prevention treatment while they had it apart. Something I forgot to ask them if they could do--but they did it anyway. So I'm very happy about that. A real conscientious and professional group. I would have likely had to get rid of the car if it weren't for them, which would have been sad because it still has a lot of life left at 250k miles (my Sienna van has 400k miles). I just have to keep an eye on some of the other rusty areas like the rear shock mounts.

I am not exaggerating to say that it took him under two minutes from the time I pulled up, and he would've had me back on the road in under five minutes total if I didn't take the time to ask him to order 2 new tires to replace my aging ones. These guys are amazing. Every time I have gone here for an emergency tire repair they have saved the day, they're very accommodating, and they're very fast. I found a listing for Tire House & it said Open - on a Sunday! I called but no answer. Started to feel very discouraged, but then my phone rang and it was the technician from Tire House calling me back!! how refreshing is that?! A returned phone call! I told him I could visibly see a nail and needed to have the tire looked at and hopefully repaired. He asked that I come back in about an hour, and I happily agreed. Upon arriving, I was directed to pull forward into the lift area. He helped me find the special tool/key needed to take my wheel off (which I didn't even know was required). He got the tools out and removed my wheel, verified that it was a nail that could be removed and the tire plugged. He did all of this in about 20 minutes. The issue was that it was a lot of suggestions, it was expenize and they were unwilling to give it to me in writing with the parts and labor spelled out. When I finally convinced them to at least break it out by suggestion (They never did the parts vs labor) the quote for spark plugs/coils was $1100!! This is work that takes 20 min in labor and the parts (even OEM parts) are at most $350. So it's $750 for 20 min worth of labor? Crazy. Called another shop that promptly quoted $800 with oem parts and of course, other aftermarket parts are much cheaper. Im getting it done for half of what they quoted.
