If you are really hungry then this place is great for that. The food is okay but lacking in quality which is made up in quantity. I did like the pork ribs, but was not thrilled with the "steak" or the "sushi". I didn't want to risk trying the seafood but it looked good. Check out the videos. The ambiance is much like a cafeteria. I really didn't expect much when this place was suggested as a place for AYCE with a price of $16.99 for dinner! Discount for seniors and military (see tip section). The service is hit and miss. Cashier friendly; steak chef is a bit short if you don't know the procedure for ordering. Personally would not be a must go place to eat while in Texas.. at least not for me. Definitely good for a budget.

Dad wanted to have a buffet lunch today so we headed to @linsbuffetsatx in Selma. We were there right when it opened so everything was hot and fresh! Rafael was a great server, making sure we had everything we needed. The only foods we didn't have were the pho and pizza. Check out the video to see their full selection. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8JTCU1S/

There was a worm in my food, I immediately got grossed out and called over my waiter. He brought the manager and all he could say was "it happens" and the best he could do was "bring me better washed broccoli".

This is definitely a 5 Star buffet. I would say the best buffet in San Antonio. They have so many amazing things like sushi and crab legs that it's hard to stop eating honestly. They have all kinds of treats for the kids and it's only 20 bucks per person on the weekends. So much to choose from you definitely have to stop in here at least wants to find out what you're missing if you kind of live in the area or pass through it a few times on I-35. We love to go there every time we go to Costco.... It's just a treat that the whole family enjoys

Location: The restaurant is located off the I-35 in Selma. Food: They offered a variety of American Chinese food, Pho (Vietnamese soup), garlic bread, pizza, steak, sushi and desserts. Almost every sushi roll had cream cheese!?! I was hoping for more nigiri and hand rolls. The steak was tough. They had buns and shumai but they were not great. Many of the food items lacked flavor. The best food item was the pho. The broth was good. The second item worth getting is their cooked shrimp. The shrimp is a great size! I did like their large selection of ice creams they offer. Cost: You pay first and then you're seated. They offer a 10% discount on adult buffets for Military. Kid's prices vary depending on their age. Drinks are separate from the cost of the buffet price. Dinner prices are more expensive than lunch. Overall, I would not return. I had higher expectations for this buffet but was extremely disappointed in the price, quality of food and variety of food.

REALLY GOOD CRAWFISH, DECENT DESSERT AND CHINESE CHICKEN! GREAT SERVICE AS WELL! Okay, this place is a big hit and miss with certain things. The service was really good, from the people who took our money, to the waitress refilling our drinks. A+!!! THE HIT: The chicken, crawfish, SOME dessert, and mushrooms were totally great! I was pretty impressed by some of the items they had to offer! The person making the sushi was really working hard, I could appreciate that. The ice creams were delicious, and really hit the spot. I tried a supreme mix of beef, chicken, and broccoli and dangggg, It was really good! I would come back again just for that. My nephews also really loved their chowmein! My dad got a piece of steak grilled, and it was grilled just perfectly! THE MISS: My nephew got pizza/ garlic bread and Mac and cheese (oh, to be a kid and to eat what you want! LOL) and his food was...awful. The bread was hard as a rock, literally i tapped it on the table and it was hard as a ROCK lol...the Mac and cheese was dry, and pizza was old tasting. My father also said some of his food was hard. So, that kind of sucks. Half of the dressers I had (little cake squares) were hard as well. I mean, it wasn't a deal breaker but kind of sucks, lol. In MY opinion, the price was great, and the pros outweigh the cons for my Very picky family who likes such different things. It was $73.00 for 6 people with drinks. Totally doable! There was something for everyone, and it was totally worth the trip! We will be back again.

Found this red type string in our sauce .

Found this red string in our sweet & sour sauce . Lost our appetite real quick . Won't be going back ! When we got up & left I showed it too a waitress at the register and she just looked at me like I was bothering her . I tried to hand it too her in a napkin & she told me she didn't want it . What a disgusting place . There could have been nuts & bolts in the sweet & sour sauce & they seriously could care less . That did it for me .

General Tso's Chicken, Spring Rolls, Wonton...yummy delights.

It's a little expensive, even for a weekend. You would expect more and better choices for the prices we paid. About $80 for two adults and a midget. They had your typical fare. The least favs-ribs(tough/dry and no flavor), steak(tough and under seasoned), steam buns(the filling just no), bourbon chicken(dry chicken and not enough sauce), and the consensus least fav were all the desserts. There was flying bugs, and everything was super dry and tasted old. I get it, what do expect for a Chinese buffet in San Antonio? Well I expect no flying insects in the desserts for the price I paid. Also, 75 % of the fruit we got was as tough as the steak. Oh, and the cold shrimp, either overcooked or thawed the wrong way. The shell was practically glued on. The positives-all the rice and noodle dishes were good to ok. The hot and sour soup was really good! The teriyaki chicken was actually good. The bigger sauced rib was good. The kimchi was some of the better we've had recently. The spring rolls with peanut were good. The two fish dishes we had(fried and not fried) were actually quite nice. All the breads were good. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Almost forgot, the bathrooms were kinda gross. They need to be kept clean. Will not come back again.

The buffet options are good, but their general tso's chicken is not the best (and I judge how good overall Chinese buffets on this lol). A surprise hit is the sautéed green beans, which are perfectly cooked and garlicky--just like how you'd find it traditionally cooked in Chinese cuisine. I also think they're deep fried (salt and pepper?) shrimp (next to the crawfish) is very delicious. Plates are cleared pretty quickly and the buffet space is kept orderly and decently clean.

But what keeps us coming back isn't just the value--it's consistency. The food tastes home-cooked, comforting, and reliably fresh, with trays constantly refilled and dishes coming out hot. Service is where they really shine. The front is run by just two women, Ang and KK, who somehow do it all--turning tables quickly, checking guests out, and still managing to be attentive and kind throughout. It's efficient without ever feeling rushed. Yes, it's a bit of a drive out to Universal City for us, but every visit ends the same way: full, happy, and already planning the next one. How soon? This sweet little Thai restaurant near JBSA-Randolph is one of those rare places that just gets it right every single time. They offer a plentiful buffet, and the food is always hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You can tell everything is made with care, and the flavors are consistently spot-on. The service is awesome too -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. My absolute favorite item is the crispy duck curry. It's rich, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and honestly crave-worthy. I order it whenever it's available and think about it long after I leave. If you're looking for authentic, comforting Thai food with great service and a cozy neighborhood feel, Thai O'Cha is a must. I'll happily keep coming back -- just like I have for over two decades.
