Of all the Chinese buffets in this area this is my favorite and that says a lot because I am not a huge Chinese food fan. This place is always very clean and the buffet lines stay stocked and tidy. The front desk team is very welcoming and kind they greet you and say goodbye when you leave. They have wonderful options on the buffet lines but the sushi section is my favorite! I occasionally review chinese buffet restaurants and grade them against each other not against restaurants in general. These places are in a league of their own. This is a new (and needed) chinese buffet restaurant on Walzem Rd. in the location of a former soul food kitchen that closed...sadly. The place is new and fresh. The food is hot, plentiful, and pretty good although they have a smaller selection than some of the huge buffet restaurants in town. However, this one has a nice sushi area and hibachi grill...always nice to see. All things considered, this one is above average due to the quality of the food and experience. read more

I had been wanting to try this place since they opened and I now wish I hadnt. The food was cold, and old. Very old, I could see where the soup had been sitting long enough for the it to condense down and the hot and sour soup i got was almost syrupy. There was pizza so old the crust had began to curl up, some chicken i tried was so bad i actually had to spit it out. Most of it looked inedible and what did put on my plate, i ate about 5 small bites of. For water, soda and 2 buffets it was 40.02, i was still hungry when i left. My friend ate a few bites more than me, but still not even half a plate, and she ended up sick and puking 20 minutes after we left. I asked to speak with the manager and the waitress who acted shocked that we said the food was old, went and got someone she said was the owner. The owner admitted that the food on the buffet was the food from lunch....which i also want to note most of it was room temp, which is why i was not shocked at how incredibly ill my friend got. Its 6:30 at this point, she says oh we're just about to start putting out the fresh food for dinner rush, and encouraged us to stay, while i look around at a room full of people and question why they would wait this late,, and at this point im not staying another 20 minutes waiting for them to change out the entire buffet. Plus my friends atomach was already beginning to turn and she was sweating like a scene out of a movie. I asked her if we could get some sort of discount since i didnt eat much and the food was inedible. Frankly i feel like that should warrant inspection by a health inspector, it wasnt just the taste but the temperature of this food that was a major problem. After waiting a long time, she first brought me a gift card and i said i would not like to eat here again, and then she came back with 8$ . So we paid 33$ to eat less than half a plate between us combined of food left over from 7 hours earlier that gave my friend food poisoning and they were not willing to do a real refund. Food was fresh, staff was pleasant and the price was affordable. We went there last Sunday right when it opened. Our group of 7 likes the food however, one thing we all noted but the flavor was too good not to go back. A lot of different options but everything was really cold. Got here around 1pm so you'd figure that most things would be fresh for lunch. If you have time to spend you can sit and wait for fresh food. The service was okay. It wasn't crowded. This was my first time here, the sushi was good, but the rice was hard,, or dried out on some. Overall the taste was acceptable. The crawfish needs some attention, tail should be curved (indicates they were alive at cooking [freshness]. straight means they're dead or old). The overall ambience of the restaurant was nice and clean, no light bulbs flashing, overly loud music, and the serving area is kept very clean, and not wiped down with a filthy cloth. One item that bothered me was that the waiter, dropped off our drinks, and disappeared. We had a pile of used plates, and empty drink cups. Only after flagging someone down did we get our drinks refilled. The price was very reasonable, Thursday, dinner buffet $12.99 and the drink $3.50. read more

Just don't do it!! none of the food is edible. The only thing we were able to eat was a salad and even that we couldn't finish. my grandson liked the noodles that is all he ate. Expensive Mistake!!! They make you pay first. I would suggest looking at the buffet before you pay. while in there I saw a woman adding hot water to the dishes. We went late in the evening and the food was a little so so. For the price it's not a bad deal, but definitely not top quality.

It was ok food was hot. They use shallow pans so the food is rotated regularly so it stays fresh and hot. .All in all it was good. Not great, but good. They did have walnut shrimp which was light on flavor. What we found weird was they don't have the soy sauce on the table. It's on the buffet in a pan like the soup and sweet and sour sauce. After seeing the many advertisements for Treasure Buffet, the three of us decided to try it out on Sunday. It was ok, nothing great, but good enough for the low price. The fried chicken wings were good but the roasted ones were a bit salty. The fried blue crabs were mostly good but I did come across a few that were either overcooked or they sat there too long. The other foods were ok, about what you'd expect. The service was good, given with a smile as they attended to our table. The restaurant was kind of empty when we arrived but more people came before we left. If we lived closer, we might go back but we don't, so we probably won't. read more

Great variety of food. Deliciously prepared with authentic Asian food not just the typical beef n broccoli. I tried the Mongolian stir fry where I picked all of my favorites and he cooked it up. There was quite a variety. We had lunch on a Wednesday at 1 PM. It was like any other buffet but they also had sea food including peel and eat shrimp, sushi and mussel. They also had crawfish. We did not try the hibachi grill. The service was great. We will be back. read more

This is your standard Chinese American buffet. With sushi. Nothing outstanding nor horrible. With the price on Thursday nights of $12.95 it is quite a bargain.
