My 86 year old mother has been a patient this practice for many many years about two years ago. My…read moremom started losing her appetite so last year I contacted the doctor to make her aware and see if there was something that could prescribed to stimulate my mom's appetite. All she is doing is drinking two protein shakes a day so basically 2 inches and that's it and she needs more than that.. When I called the practice, it was a huge hassle just trying to relay the information over to the DR. They did test but they've never gotten back to her and that was last year and I'm growing even lean more concerned with my Mom state of not eating.. For all this office bureaucracy nothing is getting done to help the patient. I'm very discouraged with what I'm seeing with this DR and I've worked in healthcare since 1993.

Dr Marshall and her staff are the very best! I ended up finding her when I needed a surgery that I…read morewas definitely stressed out about. She and her office could not have been better throughout the whole process. Dr Marshall spends time with you simply discussing what is going on and what is entailed in any surgery or procedure that may be required. She is not on any sort of time table when she is with you. She will patiently sit and discuss any aspect or answer any questions you may have. If you are looking at surgery or are pregnant, this is the kind of doctor you want. It's the kind of doctor you want all the time but it's especially appreciated when you are dealing with something beyond a routine check up. The office staff are also incredible. The timing of my surgery was very tough for me work wise and they got me the exact surgery date that I was set on and that I felt I could best handle schedule wise. That really made a big difference for me in my stress levels and recuperation. All of the office staff are kind, efficient and personable. I also want to add that I had total confidence in Dr Marshall going into a surgery that I was nervous about. As soon as I checked in at the hospital the staff were singing her praises from the gown room all the way thru pre-op. If you have to have surgery it's nice to have total confidence in your doctor. I knew I had a challenging case but she pulled off the best case surgery and I know that's because she is highly skilled. I feel extremely lucky to have found her.

Having a great doctor is important, but when you're in the middle of a major diagnosis you can't put a price on how valuable it is to have a doctor like Dr. Benjamin, Michael, and her staff to be there for you! They just jumped right in and made sure I was well taken care of! You're under the BEST care with Dr. Benjamin! I honestly don't know what I would do without her! No matter what, I know that I'm getting the BEST possible care - and that is a peace that is PRICELESS!!! I have NO fears about my health knowing that Dr. Benjamin is my doctor! After enduring several years of inferior care from my previous primary care physician (see my…read morerecent review of Dr. Barbara Denysiak), I had high standards for my new GP, and was not willing to settle again. I found Dr. Benjamin through calling the Sharp general number and told them what part of town I was in and that I wanted a new female GP, and lo and behold, an appointment was made for about a month away. While it was longer than I expected for an initial exam, I had nothing wrong and because this was a general-wellness visit, it was not a huge priority in scheduling. When I came in for that appointment I expected to fill out pages and pages of "getting to know you" medical forms and was only asked for my insurance card, so I assumed her front desk staff had made a huge mistake. When I did meet Dr. Benjamin, I was beyond impressed with her bedside manner, patience and professionalism. She took her time, explained that the reason she does not have me fill out paperwork is because that is her job and she proceeded to ask me the sorts of questions that are usually on those forms, but in a conversational manner that made me forget I was even talking to a doctor. As we talked she jotted down a few notes, then as she was explaining her philosophy of medical care to me, she sat down at the computer in the room and entered the stats she asked about previously. The entire process was quick and seamless, painless and appreciated on my part. She was not quick to diagnose or write me unneeded prescriptions and instead suggested we start at the core of my problems and work from there. What a concept! Each visit with Dr. Benjamin is quick and efficient and I appreciate that she values my time as much as she does her own. She never leaves me waiting, always asks how else she can help and continues to treat me like a human, not a number on a chart. She also referred me to Dr. Tarakjian, the greatest OB/GYN on the planet -- for which I am grateful. These are my first several experiences with Sharp Rees-Stealy and so far, I am impressed. Finally, doctors I can respect and recommend to everyone!
