All i have to say is there a customer service have gotten with the exception of the old people and the front desk. They are still as running as they come. You walk into this office and you can fill the judgment coldness from the front desk. SMH... I went in for a job check up and they rolled their eyes. The wait time definitely improved I went in one time with an appointment at 230 did leave till 4pm because they skipped over me. This time I went in and our in less then an hour. I attended this Dr for a year. I needed to get my sleep apnea supplies, a yr later i still haven't received them. They sent me to a specialist to get them. The specialist was an ear, nose, throat. I had my first appointment 04/16/25 at Dr Borrero's office on Palm Ave. I had read some reviews before going. They weren't the best so I had no idea what to expect. What I saw when arriving was a clean reception area, clean waiting room, and all area's in the back were clean as well. EVERY single person I spoke with or interacted with was pleasant, polite, great attitude, smiled, and helpful. I don't look at medical receptionist as working in customer service. I feel it two completely different fields BUT I'll base this review on customer service and 5 is too low. I'd easily give this office, the staff, and the dr I saw 10 stars. NO STARS - Worst Office & Care! I have given this office 2 months to handle my healthcare needs. Particularly, I had a total reverse shoulder replacement on my dominant right shoulder in OCT '23 requiring continuing physical therapy. They goofed up the initial "eligibility" request causing a delay of my care to begin. Then when my sessions were running to end, the PT sent over notes to advise status and request more therapy was needed. For 3 entire weeks the office did NOTHING on this issue. I would call and never receive a return response, wait a week, call again, no response. Wash-Rinse-Repeat! On many of my issues this is their poor attitude to healthcare needs. After I called my INS today, to find no request for new therapy referral was ever made, INS told me they would belatedly do this - making me lose 3 weeks of time to process. It gets worse. Then the Dr office calls to tell me, "Oh, No, we aren't even putting in this request...you need to make an APPT first." Whaaat??? Not even my surgeon ignored the PT notes and requests for necessary therapy to continue. Their delay and inefficiency is now costing me continuity of my care. Needless to say - I am switching to a different, Competent!, healthcare office and providers ASAP! read more

My daughter and I see the NP Delfina Harvey. She is amazing and extremely caring to me and my 14-year-old. Dr. Delfinas's Medical Assistant is awesome and efficient as well. SHE IS THE ONLY REASON I STILL GO TO THAT OFFICE FOR CARE! THE REST OF THE STAFF- ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND JUST AWFUL!! The front desk when you walk in is too busy to acknowledge you until you're up at the desk and you speak first. Which by the way- is not that far from the door. So I know they saw me open the door! As soon as you tell them you are there for an appointment- all three receptionists look dumbfounded like I should jump over the desk and Check myself in for my appointment. They are detached from their jobs and have conversations about other patients' conditions (HIPAA Violation Galore). I have had my share of issues with the receptionists, and the managers on the phone and in person. I was told on the phone that if I left a message regarding my flare-up it would take 3 to 7 days for the NP to call me back. I DON'T THINK SO!!! Dr. Delfina calls me back the same day any time I have an issue with me or my daughter. I don't think they take their jobs seriously in that office and I often wonder if Dr. Borerro is aware of what is happening and the negative feedback that patients feel when dealing with that office. I have voiced my concerns to Dr. Delfina so hopefully Dr. Borerro will do a clean sweep of the front office including management. read more

The bad reviews are 100% accurate and fair! I experienced it first hand... The doctor was nice but his nurses were catty bitches. I weighed in at 132 lbs, And the nurse wrote down 232 lbs. This practice is beyond ridiculous. If the front staff tells you they will call you back, it's a lie. They will never call. If you call them, expect to sit on hold for at least 20 minutes. Doctors say they're going to refer you to another doctor? You may or may not get the paperwork. Even if you do, they will lose the paperwork from that doctor and tell you to replace it. I don't know how this office remains open with the sorry staff that they have. Every single one of the front staff needs to be fired. I changed doctors almost a year ago, and my new doctor STILL has not received my records from this place. This practice is going to cause one or more of their doctors to get reported to the State medical board because of this kind of nonsense. I've been coming to this clinic for 7 years now, and I have to say I have never been treated as well as I have here. Typically, physician's office staff are a coin flip. They're either too nice or as cold as ice but at Dr. Borrero's I feel like I'm at a private family doctor where my concerns are addressed as opposed to being pushed down an assembly line. Honestly, Yelp is sometimes a bashing forum for that one customer who was having a bad day and would have taken it out on anybody and that is obvious here. What a disappointment in comparison to my first visit. The CNA from last time was worse in behavior from the last time, I overheard the CNAs talking.. Turns out this girls' pregnant, but honey, that doesn't give you any excuse to mistreat the patients. The doctor, Mr. Bravo, RUDE! I don't have an explanation for their behavior this visit, but PEOPLE GET IT TOGETHER! I went because my wrist was in a lot of pain, and 2 months later, I'm still waiting for their call for an approval for a Wrist Brace!! Simply awful, and my wrist feels MUCH BETTER NOW THANK YOU! I have been going to this doctor Borrero for many years since 2005. All offices has set backs and what not but I am satisfied with the customer service and the care each time have gone for a visit. The workers has patience and so much understanding especially in emergency situation. Most of the workers there have been there for many years as well, they remember my name, they are always kind to say hello, how I'm feeling and the reasons for my visits. The office had so much improvements for your comfort and of course there will always be a wait and even if they are to close, they always try to see if you can be seen by the doctor and tell you what to expect. The facility is clean as well as their bathrooms and the water fountain for public use. I have never been mistreated even as a new patient and this is the reason why I have never transferred out of their office. The only problem that I can think of is the parking is limited but it is only about 25-30 feet walk from street parking literally outside their building. read more

But the plp in the front desk are terrible.The recep are mean, rude and they tried to charge me for a co-pay (wich i dont have ) my husband though it was weird and call the insurance , and they told him that we dont have a co-pay. the mexican light skin lady with the braces (dont remember her name) she didnt even bother to check my insurance she check me in and before going though my benefits tried to charge me money , instead my husband HAD TO DO HER JOB and check our benefits. Horrible! I made a Dr. Appointment for my twins for a physical and to establish them as new patients. Since in the last couple years they have had some health problems this was very important to me. When we first arrived at the office all receptionists were on the phone when one finally freed up she seemed like she could not find us in there system. When she finally did she told me since the Dr. was running late they would only be able to see one child although i had made two appointments. I told her I left work early and just drove twenty minutes to get there. When she saw my paper work i needed for them to play sports. I was hoping the Dr. could fill it out after there physical she told me it would cost $30.00 each cause insurance doesn't cover it cause its not preventative.
