That's when I became proactive and started searching for a holistic care to investigate what was happening with my health. Inner Path Naturopathic came highly recommended in ChatGPT, Google and Yelp. I immediately setup an appointment with Dr Judy Rosas - AN AMAZING NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR!! Fast forward, she has been treating and caring for my leaky gut condition and monitored my elimination diet project closely for a successful recovery. I've also had customized IV nutrients to enhance the recovery since I've experienced immune exhaustion due to internal inflammation. I highly recommend Dr Rosas and Dr Zand, Inner Path Naturopathic, if you are seeking a holistic care. They are truly amazing doctors who CARE for their patients and 'walk the talk' with the patient during the investigation, treatment, follow-ups, and recovery phases.

In this era of changing healthcare, we definitely want our doctors' knowledge to be growing with the times. Dr. Witman is an exceptional physician who is tenacious in her resolve to figure out the best way to help her patients. I appreciate the lengths she has gone to - to maximize my health. Besides further research, she has referred me to specialists who she communicated with, and advocated for me when she didn't think a specialist was treating my case with the urgency she felt it warranted. She has also helped interpret other doctors' notes, lab reports & x-rays for me so that I understood what they meant. Availability has been so valuable. Every time I have called her office with some ailment, I have been able to get in to see the doctor that day. When I have sent Dr. Witman an email summarizing visits with specialists...she responded off-hours even if it was a weekend or evening. Her responses were very detailed indicating that she has studied the results from the various specialists. She truly is dedicated to delivering the highest quality personal healthcare.

However, as I was quickly told without a primary care existing relationship and referral, I could not utilize their services. You realize this is completely counterintuitive to the entire reason why a patient would seek out integrative care, especially as in my case where I do not believe in or subscribe to a primary care model. I'm not interested in replacing a PCP model with integrative care. I'm interested specifically in integrative services as they relate to HRT and related women's health in this case. Not for primary care. However, to force me to go to seek a primary care physician just to get a referral is counterintuitive and defeats the whole purpose for someone seeking integrative care.

I have done chemo, radiation, everything under the sun. About 6 months ago, I came across Dr. Stenglers office a more alternative/holistic side of healing. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Stengler's office. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by an amazing staff who truly make you feel welcome and cared for. The facility is always spotless, which makes a big difference when you're spending time there. The team is incredibly knowledgeable--honestly beyond belief--and they take the time to explain things in a way that makes you feel confident and informed. Appointments are always timely, and you never feel rushed. What stands out the most is how much they genuinely care about their patients. You're not just another appointment on the schedule, they really take the time to check in and support you. The infusion room is another highlight: it's calm, quiet, and has such a friendly atmosphere that makes the experience so much more comfortable. The nurse Greta, is beyond sweet and really takes time to make you feel welcomed. I meet with Dr. Stengler and Dr. LaBeau often and I truly look forward to the days I get to go. Which says a lot, considering the last place I want to be is at another appointment. I highly recommend. I wish I would've came here when I was first diagnosed. I have told everyone I know about this team and I pray they listen and go check them out. There is so much information out there, the staff here will help you with a treatment tailored to YOU, YOUR body and YOUR healing.

From the beginning he wanted to know what I needed and wanted, what I was living with on a daily basis, how it was effecting my life, and then he gave his medical opinion on what he felt would benefit me the most. For that alone I was very thankful as most doctors I've encountered just want to tell you what they think, without taking you into question, and what you would like. Over the course of five months he listened and took care to make sure he addressed each issue. His nurse Belinda was wonderful, kind and warm each time I saw her, which during COVID was greatly appreciated. Dr khan performed my surgery in July and I am SO thankful to him, his knowledge, and his team, because of them I'm no longer living with the conditions I was for so long. You want a doctor who will listen to you, advise you, and then collaborate with you on what would be best for YOU, you've found the right doctor. And just to add, the hospital staff at scripps La Jolla was AMAZING. They are some of the sweetest and most genuine people in the medical field I have ever met.

Still, I was dissatisfied enough to ask friends to refer me to another doctor. The reason was that when I went to see Dr. X, I sat in big waiting room, waited for a long time, and then was ushered into one of about a dozen examination rooms where I waited some more. Dr. X and I were just ships passing in the night. I was referred to Dr. Bressler, and at the time I think I was lucky that he accepted me as a patient. What a contrast in the way that he practices medicine. After any examination he meets with you in his office, answers all of your questions and offers advice. During that time you never feel that his attention is devoted to anything but you. In helping you consider decisions he will explain the issue without talking down to you.
