We ordered delivery from here. We ordered fried chicken, yukgaejang (beef soup), tonkatsu kim bap, and the pork, kimchi, and tofu dish. other than getting their kimbabs i wouldn't recommend getting other stuff from here. their kimbabs are great, pricer compared to other places but it taste good. i ordered their army stew, it was basically a kimchi stew with quarter like portion of ramen. $2 for a quarter like portion of ramen. On rainy days, I really crave Korean comfort food so I decided to give Lim's Kitchen a try after hearing great things about it from friends in LIC. I normally don't write reviews but I felt really compelled to write one for Lim's Kitchen. I ordered a Spicy Tuna Kimbap and the skewer with sausage and ricecake (Sodduk) and the food really hit the spot! We called to order, but due to the pandemic were asked to order through an app. We ordered two bulgulgi Kimbap and a small order of soy garlic chicken for two adults and two kids. Food was great despite forgetting one kimbap and my husband drove back to get it. They had left the fried chicken container partially open to escape the steaming. Brilliant. Food was delicious but we only ordered two things so will have to try others. We received a handwritten note to enjoy our food and if we could leave a review if we enjoyed it. We order from here once a week. First of all, the food is amazing and the service is next level. We always order bulgogi bibimbap and fried rice with bulgogi. One time they messed up our order slightly, i called them, they re delivered the new order in the pouring rain with a smile. Of course we tipped them in person generously. I felt really bad having to ask for a re order, but it was a digestive reason. But oh my god this man came with a smile on his face, and my husband and i were on the verge of tears. I've been ordering from this place ever since I moved to LIC. They are pretty quick with their delivery and their boneless chicken is pretty good. I did try different menus like kimchi fried rice or spicy rice cake or stir fried udon noodles which were pretty OK, but my definite go-to is always the boneless fried chicken. They are super crispy to the point that almost feels like little too hard but that's how I like my fried chicken. I also love the ricecake and sausage skewer's sauce. I do wish they had some french fries for the side menu options too cuz I'm a big sucker for fried stuffs... There had been times where there was no picked radish on the side that I think is supposed to be coming with the chicken but overall service was good. Definitely recommend. read more

Okay this review is more for people who are looking for authentic Korean food. I'm not one to complain and when I told my boyfriend I was upset to the point I need to write a Yelp review he literally responded "oh, shit bb" ( I added the punctuation but will provide pic to prove it) If I could leave this to customer service alone I would give this place 5 star review. However, when it comes to authenticity of Korean food, it does not come up to par. I ordered a small bones less small chicken and udon jjajangmyeon. The chicken was salty beyond belief. I'm unsure if they're just trying to cater to the tastebuds of the area, but I'm pretty sure nobody has ever categorized Korean food in itself as salty. Soy garlic was incredibly inedible and the sweet and spicy L2 I could barely get through without the salt overpowering the sauce. This is NOT authentic Korean friend chicken. In addition, the jjajangmyeon sauce felt like it was made beforehand and then added to to make more before closing because it had two different onion textures. Half of my onions were the right consistency where they are small and soft. The others were large and barely translucent. In addition, the pork is not the original cut of pork but more like thin sliced pork belly and you get only slivers of it. Not good. read more

Was craving kimbap late at night and this was one of the few places that were opened past 9pm so I decided to try it out and order for takeout. Overall the food was good, the sandwich however was very plain, no sauce or anything and the cheese wasn't even melted. I must admit their kimbaps are pretty good but the only thing that got to me was the price. Looking at the menu on google that they posted, it was listed at $9.95 per roll and the menu was posted 1 year ago. Now they upped the price to $12.95 per roll which is an $3 increase. When I went to pick up my order I was surprised at how high the total. It would be better if they had been able to update the prices and menu photos. read more

Ordered a few times for delivery from Lim's and it's sooo good. It's hard to come by good Korean food in Astoria since the options are slim but this is truly a hidden gem. Great service too - the little note they left with delivery was sweet and they always throw in a couple small miso soups for free. We've had several kimbaps and they're all great and very filling. The seafood pancake is also great. My boyfriend had the army stew and said it reminded him of how a relative in Korea used to make it - I think that enough shows how much love they put into their food at Lim's and you can taste it. read more

I wouldn't recommend Pork Cutlet as it was so dry, old and meatless. It doesn't come with any vegetables which is misleading from their pictures on their menu. They give you dry port cutlet with tiny sauce that you have to chew for a while as if it's a jerky. read more

We love Lim's! The boneless fried chicken is what dreams are made of- absolutely divine. May go as far to say that it's the best fried chicken I've ever had. I usually get the soy garlic and it's dynamite- my taste buds always light up. We also usually get the pork cutlet for our toddler, who is the pickiest eater, and this is one the of the few meals she'll eat so it's saying something! Love the Korean food here!! Great variety and a lot of my favorites! I ordered pickup and it was quick and easy. I got the spicy tuna kimbap the jajamyeon, the rice cakes and sausage, and the KFC level 5 spicy. The jajamyeon was very tasty, the rice cakes and sausage were my favorite! It had a smoky almost barbecue taste with a sweetness to it! So good. The KFC was really good, nice and crunchy but the spice level was not very spicy. I got the highest and their was no spice at all! But it was tasty so I can't complain. The kimbap was very average I never had it before but it didn't blow me away it kind of tastes like it was pre made. This is my new fav place in LIC! I love their Tuna Kimbap & Kimchi stew, and hope to try their army stew next time. The flavor and freshness are amazing.
