This is the 2nd time I've been to this place (I live in Queens) and it's great. My husband and I ordered some of the same tapas as last time (because we remembered how good they tasted) and added a few new ones. Each tapas- 5 in all, were so yummy. Went here for brunch with my trainer. He had eggs Benedict with coffee, I had chicken and waffles with a jalapeño hibiscus margarita (it was my cheat day so he didn't judge, but I digress). The food: my food was great. The waffle was fluffy. The chicken was dark meat fried and seasoned well. There were also diced green apples that were warmed and spiced which made it taste even better. I don't eat bacon, but I forgot to tell our server so my trainer ate the bacon and anything the bacon touched. We put maple syrup (non-organic) on everything. He said the bacon was crispy and he agreed that my food was good and he enjoyed his eggs Benedict. The drink: that margarita was so good, it wasn't too strong, but it wasn't weak either. It was just right for me to drive home after having 1 (and a little bit of another one because a bee also thought my first glass tasted good). COVID-19 related things: We sat outside, socially distanced from other patrons. When going inside to use the bathroom, everyone put on a mask. All of the staff wore a mask correctly (none of that under the nose nonsense). The only thing I would ask is that paper napkins be added to the bathroom so that when leaving one can use one as a barrier between clean hands and the door handle simply because I don't trust everyone to be sanitary. read more

The pizza crust was lackluster and tasted store bought. The Pizza Fresca was topped with what seemed like a bagged salad kit, unripe avocados, and an okay pesto that was lost in the mix. My friends have been raving about this restaurant for quite some time, so I finally decided to check it out. I dined outdoors and the service was excellent. The food was ok; not horrible or outstanding, just ok. I tried a few small plates: truffle fries, brussels sprouts, gnocchi, roasted cauliflower, fish tacos. They have a large selection of pizza and I tried the truffle, bee sting and margherita varieties. The server was accommodating as I asked to change up and customize the caesar and kale salad. Kudos for that. My favorite item was the crispy fried mushroom. I'd go back just for that. I can't give the food rave reviews (except for the fried mushroom), but It's a nice place to sit outside and relax. read more

Came for brunch with the boyfriend on a double date right before the St Patrick's Day parade. I enjoyed the salmon club. Boyfriend loved his huevos rancheros, but it was kind of small. Very fresh!!! Friends liked the brunch cheeseburger with the egg on top, and salmon with eggs, as well. A lot of nice brunch options. Our meals ranged from 15 to 18, and each came with a mimosa or bloody mary, which were tasty. Good deal I think! It's a nice place overall, with lots of chandeliers and whatnot. Service was fine. The muscles are to die for, the pizza ight, and everything else in between is good too! Its a great first date spot, has the yums, and is Bobby approved. Will deff blow your date's socks off. I have been coming to Lilly's for 6 years now and all I can say is that it just gets better and better each time. I am the biggest fan of the Beesting Pizza and Gnocchi but I also have gotten many other items on the menu, all fantastic!!! The servers are very attentive and deliver great, speedy service. Last summer, I was able to order a few items to go for my cousin's backyard bridal shower. The general manager was very accommodating and everyone greatly enjoyed the food! Came here with my husband last night. I love that on Mondays and Tuesdays they have an oysters/wine deal for $12/person, and if I were in the mood for oysters I would've jumped right on that. We decided to get a carafe of the sangria instead, which was really yummy. It had a touch of cinnamon which was something new and I loved it! We ordered: - gnocchi (amazing) - brussels sprouts - these were very yummy - ricotta croquettes - my husband's favorite - with sage and honey - meatballs - these were just pretty average - tuna tartare - it had a kick to it, like a spicy tuna at a sushi restaurant, on top of avocado - braised short ribs over polenta was good but i think there was too much sauce on the ribs - meat and cheese plate - very good Cute atmosphere and good service. This was a solid brunch spot -- a place you'd go when other places are packed but you still want reliably good food. I had the huevos rancheros, which were just OK. The eggs were fine, but the sauce wasn't anything special, and I was bummed that avocado wasn't part of the plating, so it cost me an additional $3. The ricotta croquettes were yummy, but didn't have the sweetness that it begged for from the honey. The mimosas were not so great, a little too fizzy. And my friend's bloody mary was too spicy. I give this place 3 stars because the ambiance was quite good and the servers did the right thing after we had an issues. We were seated promptly because we had a reservation. This place was packed and lively which is always a good sign. The servers were nice and available to us throughout our time there. They did not rush or push us in any way, another bonus. The food was a different story. We ordered tuna tartar, beet crusted salmon w chips, grilled cauliflower, sweet potatoes w honey and burrata and fish tacos. I'd say for the most part, all of the food was about a 2.5/5. The salmon and cauliflower were both way too salty and the tuna and fish tacos were too sweet. We did tell the staff about the saltier dishes and opted not to complain about all of it. We also mentioned that it was our anniversary and they brought out a nice desert on the House so an extra star for that. All in all, it's a nice place I eat at and maybe we just got the wrong dishes, who knows. read more

We sat out on the back patio and although it had been a warm day, by 7pm (a Friday night in July) it was really nice. The bar scene was busy and loud, and outside was really more intimate. My girl friend and I ordered the tomato and burrata salad, both types of raw oysters and the octopus. All delicious. They have interesting drinks as well as craft beers. We made reservations for Friday dinner - just to be safe - but when we arrived, there were quite a number of tables available. It seems like they reserve the tables up front for reservations though, so if you'd prefer a brighter, more spacious dining experience, call ahead and make a reservation. We ordered the: Tuna Tartare - These were recommended by our friend. It's worth getting if you're in the mood for some raw fish and guac, and want to order something to share with a group. It is served with a side of deep fried wonton, which was a little too heavy for me. I think I would have preferred just good ol' tortilla chips. Fish Tacos - These were probably my favorite out of everything we ordered! It comes with three soft tacos packed to the brim with pickled veggies, a huge piece of battered cod, and topped with a generous slice of avocado. I could have (and would have) easily finished one order on my own! Gnocchi - These were also recommended by our friend. The serving size looks small, but it's a much heavier and richer dish than you would think. Definitely worth sharing so that you can get more variety in your meal! Kalamata Pizza - For the price of some of the more expensive small plates ($14) you can get a whole 13 inch pizza, so what's not to love? I'm not typically a fan of olives, but the pizza was really delicious and the crust was especially nicely done. I'd be open to just getting pizzas and beers the next time I'm here. For 3 small plates and a whole pizza, the three of us were happily satiated for less than $20 each (not including tip), which is reasonable for a nice meal out. This is one of the best restaurants I've had outdoor dining at. I was very skeptical of the tent structure that they have, but they have the ability to open individual panels and most of them were open when I went. The only weird thing about the outdoor seating is that they share it with two other restaurants which isn't ideal but not totally off-putting. I went for brunch and got the smoked salmon BLT which was amazing. It had so many textures and flavors. They also offer free mimosas with a brunch meal, but you have to request it. Like you have to order a mimosa and then if you get brunch, the will mark it as free on your bill. A little confusing at first but they will honor it. In short, great brunch spot with a good outdoor section on a good day. read more

Good menu here - updated within the last year to offer more variety and some healthier options. The crispy asparagus and crispy Brussels sprouts are a real treat. Pizzas are excellent and the sandwiches are too. I'd love to see some new salad options but generally everything is tasty and there's something on the menu for everybody. Prices are reasonable for the high quality. And the space is excellent for a general outing, business meeting, social get-together or family meal. Lovely place in writing but definitely are in need of a new host. She seems to highly dislike her simple job. Came in with my family and and my newborn and was met with instant disdain when ask to be moved outside because it was too cold for him. And when we were finally moved outside with plenty of choices of where to sit she chose to seat us where the sun was beaming on a 90 degree day. I myself work as the manager of the front door of a restaurant and it was a simple ask with lots of options for us if she just had the want to be hospitable. Besides that the food is fantastic and the wait staff is great! I know the 2 start is kinda harsh but unfortunately for me the first person that greets you at a restaurant is the one that sets the precedence for the experience.
