    Harvest salad
    Shan H.

I had the harvest salad. pretty good!! I love the mashup of ingredients that just seem to go together so well. I'm going to try the mushroom Carne Asada next time as a suggestion from the young like that took my order. It's easy to find located in a shopping center. It's more of a to go order place not a sit down. Although I do believe I saw a table or two outside.

Glad I was finally able to check out this highly rated vegan eatery. Staff recommended the mushroom carne asada burrito bowl, which more than lived up to the hype. Portobello mushrooms had a good texture. The spices were bold but not overbearing. The spicy chipotle crema added a perfect finishing touch with the right amount of kick. Service was fast, food came out promptly. Seating is only outside though with smaller tables so not the best for larger groups.

Very enjoyable experience! I was surprised by how flavorful the food was and how filling the portions were. We had the Philly cheesesteak and Carne Asada bowl. They were both really good. If you are thinking Vegan food would be bland and uninspiring, you'd be very surprised. The owner is very nice and informative. You can tell he is passionate about the food and I love that he gave us flavored water to try and even a little sample of the soup he was developing for his menu. There are a few tables outside if you want to take your dog, and I saw a lot of people doing takeouts on Sat afternoon. If you are in the area, give this place a try! Def a place I'd like to support, you can tell all the food is made with a lot of love and care.

I absolutely loved this place! My niece and I continued our vegan adventures. I saw this one on Yelp and decided to give it a try after reading their story and checking out the menu. First of all, I want to mention that the customer service is stellar! The guy that helped us, I think his name was Albert, explained the menu in great detail and gave us recommendations. We had trouble deciding what to get because everything sounded so good! What we ordered: BBQ Jackfruit : I ordered this, but I honestly didn't like it. The lemon juice on the broccoli was way too much IMO. It overwhelmed everything else. However, my niece tasted mine and loved it. So I think it's just a personal preference. Seven Layer: my niece ordered this. I tasted this and definitely regretted my choice. All of the ingredients were seasoned great and went well together. It reminded me of a Chipotle bowl. Chickpea Tuna: I took this to go. I ate it a couple of days later. Everything held up really well. I was concerned about that. The creamy dressing on the chickpeas mimicked the tuna texture so well and tasted great. They cherry tomatoes added a nice pop of freshness to cut through the richness. Philly Cheesesteak: we got this for my brother. He said it was good but only ate a portion. So my niece ate the rest the next day. She said the texture was really weird and unpleasant. So definitely eat this the same day. Once Albert learned that I didn't enjoy my choice, he let me get something else from the menu. I chose the Seven Layer. I thought that was so nice. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! We'll definitely go back!

I LOVE this place! I was visiting a friend and she recommended we come here for lunch as I am a vegetarian. I was blown away by all the options and flavors. It's so hard for me to find meat substitutes at restaurants, usually they just remove the meat and then it's not the same meal. But here I could get a vegan Philly Cheesesteak Bowl or a carne asada bowl and feel satisfied with the taste. Parking was easy and the service was nice. The portions are big and the prices are typical for LA. We did take it to go as there is no indoor seating, but the food came out fast. I only wish I lived closer so I could eat here all the time!

I fainted and when I came to my wife was by my side and the tall blonde manager/owner took the time out to stop by, sit down, and check on me, actually chit-chat-(that helps me a lot). I was upright the whole time-but the only thing missing from the picture was a fireplace and a dog. I felt safe and comfortable even though I'd fainted. It was nice cause I kind of unraveled all my anxiety after, he was really engaging. Glad I didn't faint at Jack in the box. :-) Talk about the all around service experience, this place responded great-he even asked if I wanted some tea. We hadn't been there in a while, but the food was great, portions seemed large and healthy-I got the Blue Plate special, Walnut Loaf for my wife-really filling healthy and the service was tight. Feeling comfortable and welcome was the successful focus. Extra bread for cheap really made it amazing. When I came to the other customer had left, but hopefully she got her sunglasses she left that we alerted the owner manager about, sorry if my casual attitude and conversational ribbing upset you ma'am-I trust you'll forgive me and simply remember your good food and service you had instead. Thanks Green Temple This place was attentive in a million ways-we left well fed, attended to, and again had a unique and exotic dining experience, charming, healthy and delicious. Having said that, it's often easy for me to make a decision at a vegan restaurant because I go in knowing what I want. Anyway... after (literally) 20 min of sitting and staring at the menu, I finally decided on a Cobb salad. I know, I know. Judge me all you want. But after not having a Cobb salad for almost 7 years (probably even more), I was craving something incredibly....... boring? But this was not. They told us we could sit anywhere. It has a modern feel, plus lots of TVs, so maybe also a sports bar-vibe? They had the Olympics on, so I'm not complaining. They provide complimentary chips and salsa. I actually really liked the seasoning on the chips. Salsa was pretty good as well. We ordered a few tacos off the happy hour menu: fish taco, fried shrimp taco, chicken mole, and asada. Did not expect them to be as big as they were! Between two of us, we were stuffed from 4 tacos and could barely finish them. I really liked the chicken mole. I thought that the addition of the slivered almonds, pepitas and radishes was a delicious touch that really enhanced the texture with a bit of crunch. However, I got the scooner of Max's marg and thought that it was sorta of weak. Couldn't taste much tequila. The other downside was that there was a really loud party at the other end of the restaurant and one of them had a really sharp voice.
