Have been coming here for over 20 years and can't believe how great this place continues to be. I forgot to leave a review after each visit every year because it's like going to the doctor every year. But was leaving a review for another business and realized I have not posted a review for this place in years. First off, this is such a gem in Corona/Riverside area. I love that it doesn't have the Costco feel to it. There is no pressure from the doctor or staff and love that I have time to look at the frames and try different styles on at my own leisure. I bring my whole family here and love the service, style and selection! One son gets contacts and refuses to wear glasses to help me save money, but he prefers contacts so I have no choice. My glasses take a while to get sometimes but you get what you pay for and rather wait a week or two to get nice ones. read more

Love, love, love Dr. Lisa Kang! I came in for a first time appointment on Monday. The whole staff and the doctor were really nice and knowledgeable. I already had glasses but was interested in contacts. I've attempted contacts before but they never worked out for me. The Dr. Lisa Kang performed my eye exam and was very patient with me. She asked me about my concerns with contacts. I told her I have dry eyes due to my sleep schedule. She was able to recommend some contacts that really worked for me. Well, it's only 3:00 pm on Tuesday 12/27/22. Business hours posted are until 4:00 pm. However, when I called at 2:40 I was on hold for ever without a response from an individual. Then at 3:00 pm the call was disconnected. I called back multiple times between 3:00-3:07pm and the call went straight to voicemail "you have reached us during closed business hours...". I've been seeing Dr. Kim for 10 plus years he is one of the few Optometrist that has the best beside manners. On every visit he takes his time with me to explain everything that is going on with my eyes and answers all my questions patiently. He goes above and beyond for his patients and never once he tries to up sell me with anything. He is a honorable man and very knowledgeable in his specialty. A couple weeks ago my glasses broke, and I work as a CNA, my job requires me to chart on the iPad and my eyes were hurting, I went in a few days after my purchase with the glasses and exam and Mr. Kim went out of his way to get me my pair if glasses ready and a strap for my glasses so they went fall. If I could give more stars I would. I've been wearing glasses for 30 years! Dr Paul Kim is the first place I've been to that provided me a complete experience. The opticians are knowledgable and organized! The clinic is perfectly run and managed. I was there on a Saturday morning the busiest day of the week for this place. And not only were they fast, but thorough. They really focus on customer/patient care constantly offering things to make your experience better. They took great care to explain my insurance benefits and the best way to use them. Counseled me away from some of the previous uses I had employed with my insurance. Lastly the exam was legit! Great focus and attention to detail as it pertain to my prescription. Lots of 1 or 2, or 3 or 4 to dial in my lens perfectly. All this lead to the best clearest vision I've ever enjoyed! Very disappointed with this place! I have taken all four of my kids consistently here for over 10 years but the last time that my daughter got glasses there after 2 months one of the arms became stripped. When I took them back they were going to replace them for free but realize they didn't carry that one anymore so told me there was nothing they would do for me. They promote at Elementary schools but had no concern for my 19 year old now bring with out glasses. Dr. Kim continues to bring flyers into my job to promote their business and I continue to take them down. Very disappointed and now looking for a new optometrist for my kids. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Kim for about 2 years now and he has help me see 20/20 . I have been one of his hardest patients. He made 10 pairs of contacts just for me to be able to see 20/20 he didn't make any money helping me he actually lost money. He has been extremely patient, helpful and nice. I didn't expect when I first got here to be help this much after the first 2 pair of didn't work. I thought he would be like most doctors and say sorry but looks like this isn't gonna work but he went above and beyond and help me even at his own detriment. Even after my first exam 2+ years before, he remembered me and we carried on some conversation through the exam which made it go by much faster. I WAS a returning customer. Lifetime Optometry sent me an automated message letting me know it was time for my next appointment. I called and set one up for a few days later. I was in San Diego that morning on vacation but drove up to Corona specially for this appointment. I received confirmation texts and a phone call/vm confirming the date and time. When I arrived, 15 minutes early, the receptionist referred me to someone "in charge". That person then informs me for the first time that my insurance won't cover this until February 1. Anything I do prior to then will be 100% out of pocket. She claims to have called, texted and left a vm stating this. Apparently that person needs glasses as they never texted nor called with anything other than confirmation. The office staff is completely incompetent and if they're buying their eyeglasses here stay away. Those idiots can't even read a phone number! read more

There were activities to keep the kids busy while my husband and I were getting an exam and a baby cam monitor in the exam room so I could still keep an eye on my kids. I started of as Dr Kim's patient about 15 years ago, he was and still is absolutely very professional, kind, patient and simply the best; Dr. Lisa Kang is my current care provider, she is very warm, pleasant, detail oriented and patient, absolutely love her and the service she provides. However, the staff are abhorrent, very rude, impatient, argumentative and very unprofessional, trying to make an appointment with any one of the girls is a nightmare and the actual visit is equally met with impatient, impolite and nonchalant associates who would rather be somewhere else. Dr. Kim and Dr. Kang, please provide better customer service training to these young girls, they are not doing your business any good, almost considered not returning because my stomach churns just at the thought of dealing with anyone of them.
