I had such a great experience here for my clear aligner treatment! I had braces as a kid and did a quick round of aligners in college, but was never fully happy with my results and didn't have the best experience with my previous ortho, but Life Ortho made the process easy and kept me well-informed throughout treatment. They were the most knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and reasonably priced compared to other offices I did initial consults with. The entire staff is very friendly, responsive, and accommodating, and the office itself is super clean and aesthetic. Dr. Lee was extremely thorough during my consultation and explained all my treatment options clearly. One thing I really appreciated was that they were able to place my attachments behind my teeth for a more discreet look, which other offices told me they couldn't do. I also went back and forth a lot between treatment options, and Dr. Lee was super patient and answered all my questions over text to help me make the best decision. I ended up seeing Dr. Pi for most of my treatment, and she was amazing. She was very realistic about what could be achieved based on my tooth anatomy and also helped move treatment along smoothly since I wanted to finish before my wedding. My daughter had three consultations in total before we chose an orthodontist office that checked all of our boxes. We visited offices in Arcadia and Monrovia that were both recommended by fellow parents and much closer to home, but in the end, we felt Life Orthodontics was worth the drive. My daughter has white coat syndrome (a fear of medical professionals) and as a medical professional myself, it can be pretty difficult to find care with someone who can make us both feel completely at ease. It was so important to us since she would need treatment over the course of at least 2 years. We had our initial consultation with Dr. Lee and I could immediately read my daughter's comfort level with him. He was incredibly kind with my daughter and patient with all of my questions. First off, I have to start with saying that Life Orthodontics is absolutely GORGEOUS and the most aesthetic orthodontics office that I've ever stepped foot in. As somebody who is (easily) directionally challenged, I had trouble finding the office when it was a few steps away from me (LOL) and Eena from the front desk was extremely kind and patient with instructing me on how to get there. Life Orthodontics is located inside of a large building at Suite 100 and if you don't see it right when you walk through the doors, just head straight down the hallway to the end of the other entrance to find it easily! I came to Life Orthodontics because my retainer of 10+ years was reaching a point where it desperately needed to be replaced. Who wants to continue using an old, questionably (internally) moldy, and cloudy retainer? Definitely not me, no thanks. Dr. Lee and his team made it super easy for me to get new retainers and I was SHOCKED that my new retainers were ready in JUST 1.5 hours! Now that is some magic orthodontics sorcery! Yadira was very detailed, kind, and informative when explaining the entire process to me. Essentially, she scanned my teeth with a device and the process took less than 5 minutes. She then told me to come back in 1.5 hours for my new retainers and I couldn't have been more psyched! A few hours later, I came back and my new retainers fit perfectly and I even got to take home a nifty little retainer case that was more slim than my previous one! Dr. Lee also made sure that everything looked good to go with my retainers before I left and I felt that I was extremely taken care of at Life Orthodontics from start to finish. I visited Life Orthodontics because I had an issue with a damaged retainer from when I had gotten braces from another orthodontist many years ago. Their office is modern, clean, and it felt very comfortable being there. Dr. Pi is excellent. She explained what was going on with my teeth, what my options were, and answered all my questions thoroughly. I ended up getting a new clear retainer and the process couldn't have been smoother. They used a handheld tool to get a 3D scan of my teeth, which was so much easier and more pleasant than the old dental putty molds I had to endure previously at other offices. I left their office at around 11, and the new retainer was already ready for pickup by the time I had finished lunch. They set the bar high at Life Orthodontics and I wouldn't hesitate to go back if I need orthodontic treatment in the future. read more

Free retainers for life? Count me in! Life Orthodontics is one of the most thorough, friendly and capable orthodontic offices I've been to. Between my husband and I, we've been to 4-5 different orthodontist offices for consultations in our lifetime and Life stands out due to their commitment to patient-centered care. The office itself is impeccable -- it's so so clean and there's a counter with toothbrushes, proxybrushes, floss picks, mouthwash all laid out so you can clean your teeth before you get things adjusted. Dr. Pi and Dr. Lee are both well trained, graduating from UCSF Ortho, and they have an in-house 3D printer so everything is so much faster! My husband just started clear aligners with them and we got a little pouch that makes it easy to brush every time he takes his aligners in and out. It had a case, travel-friendly toothbrush, toothpaste and a little munchie/chewy to get the aligners to seat properly every time. The scanning and attachment placement was easy and turnaround time was reasonable, with us only needing to wait 1-2 weeks between scanning appointment and starting clear aligners. In full disclosure, I have not had any procedures or orthodontic care from Life Orthodontics, so my review will be with regard to the visit to the office and the consultation I received. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is how much the space does not feel like a dental clinic. The green and white aesthetic and clean space does wonders to soothe any visitors, especially children or those who have qualms about getting work done on their teeth. There's also this beautiful flower wall and swing as soon as you enter that could rival the most coveted Instagram photo spot. Whoever put that wall together deserves a raise. I'm no expert in dental tech or machinery, but at the very least everything from the chairs to the dental mechanisms all scream "state-of-the-art". The entire facility is pristine and inviting. I met with Dr. Lee who gave me a tour of the space and then chatted with me in his office. He was very professional and thorough in his diagnosis of my overbite and exposed gums and proposed some potential next steps to rectify my issues. Even after I told him that I was only visiting California and would need to return to Boston (and as such, would not likely get any work done from Life Orthodontics), he still went above and beyond to provide actionable next steps for my treatment! I received great service at Life Orthodontics even though they knew I would not generate any further business for them. I absolutely love Life Orthodontics! Since day one of my consult, Dr. Lee and Dr. Pi have been very invested in making sure I get the best results possible. Everything from the consultation, the 3D scans and x-rays, the installation and the adjustments have been nothing short of professional. As a child my teeth were never bad enough that I needed braces but there were nitpicks here and there that slowly bugged me until I finally got fed up and just had to get them fixed. I looked into options like Invisalign but didn't really like the impersonal nature of it, and I didn't want to get traditional braces as an adult. So after a bit of research I found Life Orthodontics, which specializes in a system called InBrace that hides all the hardware behind the teeth so it's practically invisible when talking or smiling. And what's more, I found out Dr. Lee is a co-inventor of the InBrace system! So there is no place more qualified to receive treatment from than here. The practice itself is very clean and modern, and located in a business park with lots of open parking. The interior is very cozy - from the large open spaces and tall ceilings, to the clean chairs and hi-tech equipment, it almost doesn't feel like a dental office. And if you are worried about all wires and stuff getting in the way of talking and eating, I will say that in my experience it was only a minor issue for like a week before I was able to adjust, so don't let that deter you from giving it a shot. Dr. Lee and Dr. Pi even gave me some exercises to help get my mouth adjusted quicker, although I didn't really need them. I just started my treatment with Dr. Lee and Dr. Pi, and I absolutely love this office. First of all, I love having 2 doctors. Dr. Lee and Dr. Pi share patients, so it makes it a lot easier to schedule my appointments. I have a pretty hectic work schedule, and it's really hard for me to be able to stick to just certain days. The ease of scheduling has made it so much easier for me to regularly make my appointments. This is my second round of braces, so I thought I knew what to expect when I went in for my consultation, but wow, I was wrong. The technology in this office is amazing. I was also very surprised that I had a third option other than the normal braces and aligners. I'm work with a lot of people face to face, so I walked in knowing traditional braces with all the wires was not something I wanted to experience again. I also wasn't sure if I would actually be good with Invisalign trays since I have a bad tendency of forgetting to wear my retainer. But this place offered me braces that go on the back of my teeth, something I didn't know was an option.
