I am an adult patient who was reticent to get adult braces but I had the easiest experience because of their office. They saw me on time, were always accommodating with last minute needs and changes, and their use of the Grin app really made me feel like they were able to care for me even without an appointment. I know several people who had braces who didn't have this advantage. I had braces in the past but didn't wear my retainer, so over time my teeth shifted and I developed problems with my bite. I couldn't close my bite properly, which made it difficult to close my lips. Dr. Passamano and his team have been incredible throughout this whole process. They are efficient, professional, and so patient. After treatment, I needed a retainer. The first one, made from my scan, didn't fit quite right, probably because of the material being different from Invisalign, not sure. When I explained the issue, Dr. Passamano listened carefully to my feedback and personally made adjustments to ensure the new retainer fit perfectly. THE BEST orthodontist you'll ever see. When you're working on something as important as your smile and teeth, you want someone who has OCD (in the best way possible) like Dr. Passamano. He's a stellar orthodontist who's got amazing bedside manner, is funny, and really cares for his patients. I live in the San Gabriel Valley and I drive an hour or more just to see Dr. Passamano because he's worth the commute. His staff are second to none, they're so polite and friendly. They always make me feel welcome and I honestly don't know how he keeps them so happy but whatever he's doing, it's definitely working! In terms of my treatment, I got Invisalign done with him and I could've finished in a year based off of his estimates. When the year came up, I thought I was all ready to go and Dr. Passamano pointed a slight imperfection with my teeth that he said HE wanted to fix (probably because I wasn't wearing my retainers as religiously near the end - sorry). At first I said no then I called the office and thankfully he reversed my decision and allowed me to get a few more retainers to fix the minor minor imperfection. He never complained or made me feel bad a flip flopping on the correction and supported me all along the way. I've been a patient at Dr(s). Passamano's office for almost 2 decades now. I got traditional braces with Dr. J Passamano in elementary school - the results were phenomenal. After failing to wear my retainers for over a decade (oops), I had a slight misalignment in my bottom teeth so decided to start Invisalign with Dr. R Passamano. Nothing has changed (and I mean that in a good way) - you receive thoughtful, personalized care and both Dr. Passamano and his entire staff are lovely. I just finished my first set and am about to start my second, and have no complaints so far.
