My children are finally finished with their treatment, I can finally write a review. My kids started their first phase of orthodontic treatment with another doctor in Irvine. I was not satisfied with his work so I decided to switch, and I am so glad that I did. i was referred to Dr. E by my friend and his price is the most reasonable. Dr. E is warm, friendly, approachable, professional and competent. My son had some issues with the brackets and Dr E came in on a Sunday to fix them, not just one time but couple of times. My daughter had to return to treatment a year after she completed because one tooth moved. Dr E fixed it without even charging us. His staff is phenomenal, they are kind, always eager to help. Awesome staff, super cute office, great experience with my son's procedures and braces journey, however the attentiveness to time and opening their offices on time and updating their hours on google need to get better. We always book the 1st appt of the day to get in and out, but there hasn't been 1 time where we show up and the office doors are open on time. If our appt is for 10am (opening of their office) we are waiting in the parking lot until 10:05 or longer until someone shows up to let us in. Google also says different office times than their website. Wednesdays they open at 10 and not 830, got here at 945 for my 10am appt and was calling over and over again to see why i couldnt get in (I had thought they were open at 830) but then i went to their website and saw they weren't open until 10. it is now 10:05 and again waiting outside still. read more

I stopped by e-Orthodontics in Tustin today to bring a formal concern directly to Dr. Sharif Elbayoumy regarding the unprofessional conduct of his staff member, Melissa Blasco. I was informed that Dr. Elbayoumy was not in the office, and when I asked to leave a message, Melissa told me it was "highly unlikely" that he would return my call--even though my visit was specifically to address her conduct. Melissa had previously sent an inappropriate and biased email to the other parent of my child, disclosing private insurance and treatment-related information without my knowledge or consent. This was a clear breach of confidentiality and highly unprofessional--especially considering I am one of the child's legal guardians and the only insurance policyholder. Her dismissive response today, coupled with her earlier behavior, made it clear that this is not a professional or trustworthy office environment for my child's care. Melissa Blasco's actions are the sole reason I've chosen not to proceed with treatment here. Confidentiality, respect, and ethical conduct are essential in any healthcare setting--especially where children and court matters are involved. My son just got his braces off after ~15 months. First kid of mine to get braces and overall it was a great experience. Dr. E is professional and friendly. His staff is kind and helpful. The only negative I encountered was the e-dollars program where we can earn fake money during the entire treatment process to redeem at the end of treatment. I was under the impression you get the same amount you collected (redeemable for an Amazon gift card) but it's actually half, which was a bit disappointing. Have had a great experience with Dr E and his team. Both my kids needed braces. Was great to be able to bring them in together for appointments. A few months in I even decided to get braces for myself to fix issues from my never wearing my retainer back when I had braces as a teen. Luckily my treatment was short, lasting only 8 months. Phase 1 to ensure adequate space for permanent teeth without the extractions my generation endured, and phase 2 to make that grown up smile beautiful! Up to date on the latest hardware and orthodontia techniques, you can choose from traditional metal brackets, clear plastic (our choice) or Invisalign. There are probably others I don't know of. Yes he had them on for longer than we both wanted but Dr E took care of his smile and sometimes "tried to give him a lecture on brushing" but he was too nice about it because that's just him! We chose E-Orthodontics back in 2014 when my son needed early intervention for an underbite. We interviewed 2 other orthodontist in the area and chose Dr. E for a number of reasons. He is very kind and works well with young children. His office is warm and homey instead of the orthodontic assembly line we experienced in other offices. We didn't get a high pressure sales pitch or phone calls asking if we had made our decision yet. The price was reasonable and more all-inclusive than the other offices. And most importantly, we're happy with the results. Fast forward to 2022, my daughter has completed phase 1 braces, I have done Invisalign correction, and my son is just wrapping up phase 2 braces with Dr. E. In the future, my daughter will get phase 2 and my husband is considering Invisalign for his smile from Dr. E. I think that says it all! read more

Wow, I can't believe this orthodontist has so many 5 star reviews. I seriously believe they have paid one of those shady companies to provide them with those reviews because my experience with them has been worse than horrific. I first visited here to purchase Invisalign for myself. I had a small gap in between my top 2 teeth. Well, I didn't get Invisalign. Instead, without my knowledge, they gave me some off brand. Which I would be ok with if they would have mentioned that from the beginning. When I purchased these upfront I was also told I would receive the ones for my bottom teeth for free. I told them I didn't want them for my bottom teeth nor did I need them, but they said it was free. So, I said, "sure why not." Well, big mistake...one of the times I went back for a follow up (after receiving my first set), the orthodontist without my knowledge, is looking in my mouth and starts to use a tool I was totally unaware of. He didn't mention any thing. He was sawing down 2 of my bottom teeth! Took off enough enamel off my teeth that my teeth hurt now when I have something cold. On top of that he cuts my tongue and lip. He doesn't even apologize or offer me ice or water or anything! I had to ask for ice later and they didn't have any. My lip and tongue became swollen and were bleeding. I ended up stopping at a drive thru to request a cup of iced water. My tongue and lip hurt and burned terribly for the rest of the day and night. Now, mind you, my bottom teeth were perfect. I've been told this by other dentists and orthodontists as well. My bite was perfect too. I never wanted my bottom teeth to be worked on. Little did I know, what he had done until the swelling went down and I could feel and see the NEW gap on my bottom teeth! I was very upset. However, I thought this could probably be fix. Make a long story short, my top teeth were good to go in less than a month. My bottom teeth...that's a different story. I went back so many times for 6 dreaded months, spent time driving from Yorba Linda to Tustin over and over again, missing and having to reschedule many appointments to still have the gaps on my bottom teeth that I didn't want to be touched in the first place! I have requested my money back and nothing. The orthodontist won't even return my calls or my emails. This is seriously the worst service I have ever received from a so called professional. This guy doesn't know what he is doing and I'm on here submitting this review to save you from having him ruin your teeth as well. So many real orthodontists out there that work hard to do the right thing, stay away from this one. read more
