He spent a long time with my husband showing him how to size boots differently than shoes, having him test it out on practice terrain, and picking the best fit for activity and price. As a young person of color, I will not be returning to this REI location, but will bring my business elsewhere. Really a same, I've enjoyed REI in the past but this experience has been discouraging.
